Shattering Humanity-Chapter 64: Truly A Beautiful Name

From inside the Son Goku City High School gymnasium, a ’Daisuki Portal’ is open, while the clones of Daisuki and Aiden stand with the real versions of Saku and Dom, all with their Anti-Iceman Gear.

From the other side of the hole, the real Daisuki can be seen, IceEye in 2nd Stage, a sky blue aura.

Real Daisuki: "This high school is in the dead center of Son Goku City, if your friend is around there, that’s the best place to start combing the area. But be careful out there you guys. That city hasn’t been completely cleared out of Icemen and some of the better squads from the mountains could have possibly made it there within a day after camping out last night. f something happens, my clone will keep them distracted while you all get away."

The clone nods and gives a thumbs up.

Daisuki: "I’ll be with Scylia, so if my clone has to stall a squad and dies, head right back here and a portal will already be open for you all. If everything goes smoothly, in two hours I’ll open another portal in the exact same spot. Good luck to you guys and stay safe."

He smirks at Saku and mockingly makes a kissy face.

Real Daisuki: "Especially you, ’Saaaakuuuu’."

Saku gets pissed but then Itsuka’s fist can be seen knocking the man on the back of his head, it begins slowly closing the portal.

Itsuka and Saku EyeEngage, while blushing, the emotion from their kiss is still fresh.

Itsuka: "Remember what I said. After giving me your responsibility, you better come back safely."

Saku(awkwardly): "O-Obviously."

Right before the hole closes Itsuka and Saku unlock their IceEyes but the last thing Saku sees from the other side is Itsuka’s human purple eye.

Itsuka: "And not just for Friend."

The hole closes and Saku looks upset, the other three who were listening watch as he turns back to them and sighs.

The group starts to make their way out of the deserted high school. They walk through the blood-stained halls while the clone of Daisuki leads them out. The skeletons from teacher and student victims are seen more frequently once they get closer to the entrance.

Dom: "Damn Saku, you got yourself a hottie bro! I was thinkin’ about shootin’ my shot with her but apparently you already had her locked down."

Daisuki Clone: "Yea Sakuuuuu. You never told the original crew either. I had a feeling something was going on between you two."Saku is clearly agitated while the clone teases him.

Saku: "She’s psychotic. All I did was ask her to watch my dog so I could train and get my eye to evolve. It’s not like I agreed to date her. She just threw herself at me and basically sexually harassed me."

Dom: "Yea, I’’m sure you feel scared and violated because the tall, light-skinned, beautiful chick with 6 pack abs kissed you without askin’ first. You should be grateful, some of us don’t get to enjoy things like that."

Daisuki’s clone snorts a laugh out and Saku looks over, irritated as they exit the school to a bright afternoon sky, only a few clouds and the alien snow still falling from ’somewhere’. Saku looks up at the sky while they walk to the left from where they exited. From inside his lightened backpack, the empty black bento box that Itsuka left for him, now cleaned, shows Itsuka’s giggly mirror self, listening in to Saku.

Mirror Itsuka: "Teehee, good, this ugly and gross guy doesn’t like us back. Tehehee, did you hear that Sista Me? He doesn’t like us, oh well. Can I leave now and get as far away from him as possible?"

There’s no answer back from the real Itsuka.But Saku can be heard from outside his backpack. He’s now looking at the ground, thinking outloud.

Saku: "Don’t get me wrong. She’s incredibly beautiful...and honestly I think she’s the coolest and most down to earth woman I’ve ever met. At least, she’s a lot better of a woman than that bitch I got for a Student Captain."

Aiden’s Clone gets an angry expression over Saku’s comment about Shelly.

Saku: "And I hate women who don’t work hard and expect the men to do everything just cuz men are dumb and can be easily persuaded by lust. So to me, her fit body is a more attractive since it’s a clear sign of a woman who works hard."

Daisuki’ Clone raises an eyebrow from the assumed unintentional insult about his multiple wives.

Saku: "I’d go as far as to say in the few days that I’ve known her, she has already cooked me more food and shown more support to me while I was in pain, than I can remember my own mother giving me. It hurt more seeing her cry in the elevator over her dead pet than when she headbutt my gut."

Mirrored Itsuka is surprised and then looks annoyed, cheeks puffed out, as Saku tells them his true feelings.

Saku: "And her name. There’s something about her name..."

Daisuki Clone: "Well in my mother’s native language, if my translation is correct, depending on how she writes it, her name means, ’Someday’ or ’The Best Flower’ depending on how she writes it but we don’t know if that’s even the intended origin of her name. Now that I think about it, ever since she linked up with us and exposed the ’Sisters’ conspiracy, there hasn’t been a moment other than the elevator ride out and most of our walk through the woods, to stop and ask her more about herself."

Saku: "Someday. The Best Flower. Those fit my view of her so well.(to himself) ’Itsuka’. ’Someday’. It really is a beautiful name."

Bubbly Mirror Itsuka is still pouting cutely when the real Itsuka can be heard, speaking softly.

Itsuka: "Come back so I can deactivate, it was inappropriate for me to spy on him."

Mirror Itsuka walks to her right and "disappears" from the mirror.

The guys are walking in the direction of the school’s destroyed football field. They pass by the hole in the chain link fence and the still wet blood stain on the sidewalk left from Sol’s cut. They also see the decapitated head and two Icemen bodies with crushed heads. The Daisuki Clone examines the crime scene with Aiden’s clone while the two boys continue their version of gossip.

Dom: "Then why not wifey her up bro?"

Saku: "Because."

Dom: "Because? So you’re just gonna let her think you like her, just so she’ll take care of your dog while you’re away? That’s low dude."

Saku: "Shut up, that’s not what I’m doing. I’ll let her know how I feel when I get back, it’s just, it’s bad enough knowing I’ll lose Friend someday. When I see Shelly cry and become weak all because of Katsu. I don’t want to be seen that weak. She’s vulnerable when worrying about her ’true love’."

Daisuki and Aiden’s clones walk away from the head and join back in the conversation and continue their search.

Daisuki Clone: "And so you’d rather never love at all, than to have loved and have lost.(sighs) Listen, I get it Saku, love is intimidating and potentially dangerous. I’ve gone through my share of relationships and heartbreaks. But, none of which I’d ever want to erase or re-do. They made me into the man I am today."

Saku: "You mean a man with 3 wives?"

Dom: "YOU GOT THREE WIVES?! Big Bro you’re a playa!"

The Daisuki Clone sighs and continues the philosophical lecture he was trying to get across.

Daisuki Clone: "And without those past mistakes, I wouldn’t have 3 wives or a chance with Scylia. I can’t tell you how to live your life or what’s the best decision specifically for you, but I will say, without love of something, your only other option as a living, breathing human, is to hate. "

Dom: "You want a 4th wife!? Now you’re just showing off."

Aiden, silent this whole time, looks at the clone of Daisuki.

Aiden Clone: "Are those women really okay with sharing you as a husband? Usually marriage is between only two people, why don’t your wives get upset that your love isn’t solely for one of them?"

Daisuki Clone: "Women are strange creatures, Bud. Granted, men are on the opposite side of the ’strange spectrum’, but after I rescued them from a small hoard of Icemen, they decided to help me create Sanpaku. I never treat one differently than the other two. They help keep the people of Sanpaku fed and the common areas clean. While Scylia is in charge of the executive decisions while I’m gone."

Saku: "So what’s the difference between what I’m doing with Itsuka taking care of Friend while I’m gone and you with your infinite wives?" 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Daisuki Clone: "The difference is I actually love them, I know I need them to live happily, and I need them to accomplish what I want in life. That is what marriage is. Yea, it’s easier to be in a max 2 person relationship, but those women are my family now.(blushes) And they do ’things’ for me none of my girlfriends in the past would consider doing."

Saku(disgusted): "ALRIGHT WE GET IT!"

From a distance, the echo of Sol yelling a warning to Taylor can be heard by the group.

Sol’s echo: "Watch out Big Guy!"

The group all looks in the direction it came from, then at one another, and rush towards the commotion.

Unaware of the mob of 50 smaller Icemen entering the city, coincidentally, making their way in that direction.
