Shattering Humanity-Chapter 65: TayTay & "Sock’s" Reunion
The group of Clone Daisuki, Saku, Dom, and Clone Aiden turn the corner just in time to see Sol off on the sidewalk while in the middle of the street, Taylor with his gigantic fist, punches an Iceman in the jaw, spinning its body 180°.
Taylor bear hugs the Iceman from the back, pinning it’s arms down so it can’t scratch at him.
Daisuki Clone: "There’s no way..."
They all watch as Taylor, german suplexes the 6 foot tall ice alien, smashing the back of the alien’s head, but it’s still alive. Taylor easily does a backwards somersault with the monster still in his inescapable clamps and german suplexes the Iceman two more times before effortlessly tossing the ice monster’s lifeless, headless, corpse into an empty alley.
Saku(huge smile): "THATAH BOY TAYTAY!"
Sol is caught by surprise by the group but when Taylor turns around, his eyes get wide and so does his smile. He begins running at Saku with the big smile on his face. The ground makes mini trembles as each foot lands.
Taytay: "SOCK!"
Daisuki looks at Saku almost as if entertained by the nickname.
Daisuki: "Sock?"
Saku: "Don’t get any bright ideas, he’s a complete idiot that barely remembers his own name. He refers to himself as TayTay now, because I called him that when we sparred and ate lunch together afterwards. It’s not like he’s doing it to insult me. Him calling me ’Sock’ is close enough."
As the over excited, giant of a man charges at them, the rest of the group disperses away from Saku as TayTay goes in for the hug.
Saku quickly jukes to his left, his right hand with the HFF watch on the wrist, grabs on to the purlicue of Tay’s ginormous right hand with his HFF watch attached on his wrist, using momentum to vault himself onto TayTay’s shoulder. He launches up and lands carefully, one foot on Taylor’s huge left shoulder, the other, on his monster of a friend’s head.
Taylor isn’t upset or even fazed at all by the 18 year old on his head. Instead, Taylor lets out a deep giggle and Saku backflips off Tay’s head and lands with a return smile. As soon as he touches the ground, the watches of Saku, Dom, and Taylor begin beeping. Saku looks at the clone of his mentor who is going to react the same way the real mentor is reacting back in Sanpaku.
Saku: "Whoops."
Daisuki’s clone gives Saku a disappointed look and shakes his head.
Saku: "What?! Now that we have TayTay, let anyone from those mountains come and test us. You saw how freakishly strong he is, now that he’s our ally, we’re unbeatable."
Daisuki: "Nobody is ever unbeatable Saku, it’s great you have so much trust and faith in your friend here but don’t let that confidence get to your head. It’s not fair on Taylor either to rely on his strength."
While Daisuki lectures Saku, Taylor is looking up at the Sun again, with his eye in its second stage, collecting solar energy.
Dom looks at his watch.
3:59 P.M NW
Squad 32: 🟢🟠🟤❌
Squad 40: 🔴🟣⚫⚪
Squad 20: 🔵🟡❌❌
Then at the clone of his Squad’s Promoted Captain whose watch isn’t beeping since it’s just for decoration.
Dom: "Whelp, looks like we’re terrorists now Cap."
Aiden Clone(thinking): "If we truly wanted to be allies to Katsu and Sanpaku, it was inevitable. Since our Mentor is shown as deceased, they were bound to have had someone come searching for us. (looks at Daisuki Clone) Luckily, they didn’t link up in the actual city your sanctuary is in. At least now they’ll think it’s in Son Goku City. I’ll start thinking of ways to use that misinformation to our advantage."
Daisuki nods and Sol joins them all just in time to hear "sanctuary".
Sol: "Wait, did you say ’sanctuary’? I was originally following a woman who said she would bring me to a safe haven before two Icemen ambushed us and got her. It’s a good thing Big Guy here was around or else I’d have been done for."
Daisuki looks at the beautiful teenage girl with her glistening golden eyes and gives her a warming smile.
Daisuki: "Nice to meet you lil lady, I’m Mina Daisuki, and I am the leader of the very sanctuary that brave woman was trying to bring you to. I have to say, as the ’Head Honcho’ of the sanctuary, it brings me peace knowing her sacrifice wasn’t in vain, and even though I lost an ally, she made sure I gained another."
Sol bows.
Sol: "I’m Sol. It’s nice to finally meet you. I’ve heard a lot about you Mr. Mina but it was negative things from the evil man who got rid of me as his concubine. If he sees you as his enemy, then you must actually be a great person and the right side to be on." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
The nice reunion and introduction is cut short though, as the rolling sounds of gnashing Icemen is growing louder, now heard by the group except Taylor, whose eye is now shining bright like a lightbulb. The mob of 50+ smaller class Icemen, are making their way through the city streets towards the small group of humans.
Sol hops on Taylor’s back for safety.
Sol: "Now is not the time to be stargazing Big Guy! We gotta get outta here!"
Saku looks over to see what the girl is referring to and he gets a shocked look from seeing his nincompoop pal, with a glowing Iceman eye now in 2nd Stage. Daisuki’s Clone notices it too but doesn’t look as frightened.
Daisuki Clone: "Huh, is it like a solar charged light or something?"
Taylor finishes charging up his IceEye and turns to EyeEngage with Saku. Tay begins transferring the stored solar energy to the delinquent which catches Saku by surprise once he feels it.
A bright golden "energy" starts flowing around Saku, as if his whole body is giving off an aura that is visible, even to the non-eye users. The pals unlock IceEyes and Saku looks at his hand. He opens and closes it then smiles the largest smile his mentor has seen yet as he looks at the aura surrounding his body.Taylor then EyeEngages with his squadmate Dom, a slightly less exaggerated aura surrounds the young man and they unlock.
Dom: "Thanks, ’Fat’."
Taylor closes his eyes and opens them showing his IceEye back in its base-kit. Daisuki looks from TayTay to the golden aura flowing like water around Saku, smiling back at the mentor.
Saku: "Ohhhh yea, D. We may have just hit the ultimate jackpot on TayTay’s eye ability."
