Shattering Humanity-Chapter 66: Party Leveling (We All Get To Level Up)

The swarm of Icemen are over 500 yards away in their wild sprint, quickly approaching Saku and Dom, who have the golden aura of solar energy from TayTay’s eye ability.

Saku and Dom, ready to fight, confidently stare with grins at what would normally be considered as a "flight" situation for humans. Aiden calmly assesses the situation and finds a building still completely intact. The sign "Ruby Red’s Tat Shop and Piercings" is attached to the skinny building, hidden in between two larger buildings.

Aiden Clone: "Daisuki sir! Let’s make for that two story tattoo shop so we can thin out the horde with only one entrance!"

Daisuki looks over at the shop the young man’s clone is talking about, looks back, and nods his head in agreement.

Saku: "You guys go do that. This energy that Tay gave us definitely has a time limit, and I’ve never felt lighter or more energetic in my life. I’m using this buff to help level up my eye to return the favor for Tay..."

Saku pauses, eyes wide, remembering what Itsuka’s name translates to.

Saku: "... someday."

Dom: "You know I have to double it!"

Daisuki looks at Sol still attached to Taylor’s back.

Daisuki Clone: "Common Hun, let us get to safety while these guys with powers fight."

Sol: "But you also have an alien eye, aren’t you supposed to be the leader of your sanctuary?"

Daisuki Clone: "This is a clone of me, I’m sure the situation will explain itself, just please hurry darling!"

Sol looks at Taylor and embraces him a little tighter.

Sol: "Stay safe, Big Guy."

She jumps off and Taylor pats her head with a smile.

TayTay: "MaMa."

Sol blushes from being called MaMa by the large beast of a man and gives him a smile before turning to join with Daisuki and Aiden’s clones. The 3 of them get into the building and shut the door. Aiden’s clone and Sol run up the stairs to the second floor and look out the window to observe the potential of the "power buffs" that Saku and Dom received from Taylor’s "Photosynthesis Eye".

Daisuki stays downstairs, looking out the one sole window on the first floor to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Outside, the horde of 50+ Icemen is less than 100 yards from the two glowing 18 year olds and the tank of a man behind them.

Saku: "You better not have any excuses when I kill more of these dumbass aliens. TayTay gave you more strength too."

Dom: "I could probably beat your number without that fat idiot giving me this temporary power up. If anything, you better refer to me as a ’Beast’ once I kill more of these shitheads and save your ass."

Saku looks at Dom and grins.

Saku: "You’re alright. How about if you survive, you join my group instead of Katsu’s?"

Dom: "We’ll talk about it, if YOU survive. Get ready, here they come!"

Saku: "Ready TayTay?!"

Taylor punches his two fists together and lets out a grunt.

Saku: "Let’s GO!"

From inside the building the three spectators watch as the challengers charge at the swarm of aliens. However, Saku vanishes from his spot, and immediately appears in front of an Iceman, his SunSwords already unsheathed and moving so fast it looks as if three Saku’s surround the Iceman at the same time and each seems to cut the alien.

The red aura cloud floats as it leaves the dead Icemen bodies and towards the sky, only visible to the three real humans with real IceEyes.

Dom watches in amazement at Saku’s speed, as the delinquent vanishes after killing a couple of the mob, and then reappears to kill another set of 2-3 aliens releasing the blood red cloud with every kill. TayTay grabs an attacking Iceman by the neck, it can’t bite Tay as the giga man swings the Iceman at its own allies, knocking them down, and he finishes them off with a stomp to the head, his kills also release the "clouds".

The "Iceman Sword" no longer has a lower body but is still trying to get a bite. Taylor gets annoyed, grabs the top of its head and twists the monster’s head off like the cap of a soda bottle. He throws the disembodied Iceman head at an attacking enemy, direct headshot and both heads shatter.

The audience inside is amazed while watching Saku and Tay take out over 30 of the 50+ group of aliens by themselves in less than 3 and a half minutes.

Saku(looks back at Dom): "Aye, for all that gum bumpin’, I haven’t seen you back any of it up."

He disappears then reappears to kill an Iceman.

Saku: "On second thought, you’d be perfect for Katsu’s Division since he does that weak shit too."

Dom gets an angry look on his face and he doesn’t move as fast as Saku, but he does turn into a blur while moving at top speed and begins helping thin the crowd.

The Daisuki Clone, hearing Saku’s trash talk, from the open window, smiles and quietly talks to himself, acknowledging Saku’s different way of motivation.

Daisuki Clone: "Some of the greatest athletes and competitors throughout history have motivated others the same way."

He looks away from the window at ’something’ inside the shop, he gets excited, and makes his way towards it.

Back on the battlefield, Dom cuts the head off one of the attackers, uses its body to backflip over an ambushing alien while cutting its head down the middle. He lands, kneeling and looks up, the Iceman turns around unfazed by the slice and retries its attempt.

Just as it leaps in the air to pounce on the young man, Dom throws his barely effective SunSword, the side edge gets lodged perfectly halfway through the front of its neck and the battle torn Iceman falls to the ground face first. The landing finishes the job and the blade goes through its neck also making the blade cool off.

It takes the 3 young men only 6 minutes to eradicate the threat of 50+ smaller class Icemen. Although, there is one Iceman that didn’t engage with the challengers at all. It almost looks like the "unintelligent alien" is also watching from the sidelines like the human and clones in the tattoo shop.

It backs away in between buildings to stay in hiding and makes a quiet tame growl not taking its eyes away from the three humans.
