Shattering Humanity-Chapter 67: Just A Clone

There are a couple of Icemen still barely alive, crawling towards the panting men.

Dom no longer has the "solar energy aura" around him and wipes the sweat from his forehead. Saku’s barely glowing with golden aura, sheathes his ineffective SunSword and pulls out his fully heated one the aura around him fades as he beheads a crawler approaching him. The aliens unable to move are still gnashing their jaws towards the closest human.

While the two non-eye users on the second floor of the building stare in awe of what they witnessed.

Aiden Clone: "That was amazing. I can’t believe they did that so easily. Even with Anti-Iceman Gear, these monsters are tough to kill but those three just made that whole swarm disappear without a single problem."

Sol turns away from the window without a word and runs down the stairs, her bare feet can be heard pitter-pattering on the wooden stairs. Aiden’s Clone walks after her and as he reaches the bottom of the stairs he sees Daisuki’s Clone hold up a closed black briefcase and he has a wide smile. Aiden’s Clone is too shy to ask the clone of his new leader what he is smiling about and makes his way towards the door left open by Sol.

The two clones leave the tattoo parlor with the "mystery case".

Taylor stomps out the last moving ice creature and Saku smiles, watching his rare and unique friend with his IceEye upgrade and an ability since last seeing him.

Saku(smiling): "Since we were the top 2 in our own sparring class, I expected nothing less from you TayTay, you’re awesome! And your eye ability is WILD, you’re a Fat God! When we get back to Sanpaku, I’ll make sure we get you a whole ton of apples as a reward."

Taylor smiles a big open mouth smile and goes in for a hug on his new Division captain.

TayTay: "SOCK!" 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Saku once again dodges the hug attempt and does his acrobatic vault up to the shoulder of the giant man. He stands in the same way, one foot on TayTay’s shoulder the other on his head, starring with a smile at the battlefield of dead enemies they defeated sprawled over the city block.

Dom walks up, smiling, and stands next to them and looks as the final red "cloud" floats into the sky out of sight and a strong gust of wind blows their hair.

Dom(chuckles): "They thought they were gonna catch us lackin’ but we were just built TOO different."

Sol runs up to the "Totem Pole of Power" of Saku and TayTay, and she looks up at Saku with a scowl.

Sol: "Hey, get off his head! He’s not your doormat! I bet he’s stronger than you, so how come you get to step on him like you’re the top dog, huh?!"

Saku’s smile goes to a sour face towards the misinterpretation of him and TayTay’s friendship.

Saku(irritated): "Aye listen bitch, I’ve known this lovable idiot way longer than you have and I did this even before he got insanely stronger because of these ’alien eyes’ so don’t try to come between bros, and weren’t you quick to jump on his back for safety when you thought we were going to run away? We are both just climbing this tree of a man.(looks down smiling at Tay) A tree in both size and intelligence of course."

Taylor smiles and gives a giggle up at his friend.

Sol: "That’s different!"

Saku jumps down in front of the girl and makes eye contact with her, she doesn’t get intimidated almost like Shelly.

Saku: "Yea, for some reason, girls love to say that when they get called out on their hypocrisy."

Daisuki and Aiden’s clones approach the two arguing as they turn their backs to each other, irritated. With Taylor looking at the Sun, not collecting its energy, just standing in between them.

Daisuki Clone: "Saku, don’t start she hasn’t even stepped one foot in Sanpaku and you’re already giving her a bad impression."

Saku(flabbergasted): "She’s the one who started it!"

He looks over to see Sol sticking her tongue out and pulling one of her eyelids down at him mockingly. Saku opens his mouth to say something but a slight rumbling can be felt and everyone looks around. The tremors can be felt getting stronger. The sounds of trampling and destruction can be heard also growing louder. Saku looks up at Taylor.

Saku: "TayTay follow me!"

Taylor nods and follows Saku.

Aiden Clone: "Saku! Are you gunna have him-!"

Saku: "No time nerd!"

Aiden’s clone looks at Daisuki’s and the mentor clone just gives the disheartened clone of the young man a pity shrug of the shoulders. With the slight trembling around them, the two "Beasts of Humanity’s Final Flame" get to the fire escape behind the tattoo shop.

Taylor watches as Saku gets to the top of the building by the fire escape and then TayTay jumps up, way higher than anyone would expect a 420 pound man to jump, and grabs the side of the fire escape, climbing it that way, the rusted iron creaks and slightly bends as Taylor grabs on and places his footing. Once he gets to the top with Saku, the new Division Izanami leader looks up at his most powerful asset.

Saku: "Now that there’s no mountain ceiling, throw me up there as hard as you...on second thought, just make sure you can catch me TayTay."

Tay nods and smiles he links his giant hands together and kneels down in front of his friend. Saku puts one foot in Taylor’s entwined hands and looks up.

Saku: "Ok, Tay. UP!"

Taylor grunts as he tosses Saku hiiiiiigh up into the air, so high, Saku is able to see where the direction of the giant Iceman that’s the cause of the commotion and his eyes grow wide as he reaches the apex of the toss and can see giant Icemen, ranging from 30 to 50 feet tall, completely surrounding Sun Goku City and closing in, intentionally destroying everything in their path.

Each giant alien, jumping into and stomping on every building, car, and anyone unfortunate to be in the city outskirts.As he falls back down he looks at the time "4:23 p.m.". Taylor catches Saku and without putting him down, Taylor jumps off the two story building and lands without injuring himself or Saku. He puts Saku down on the ground and Saku looks at Daisuki’s clone with all seriousness since he is unable to EyeEngage with it.

Saku: "We need to get back to the High School and fast. There are just as many giant Icemen coming to back up the smaller ones we killed and they are surrounding basically the entire circumference of the city, and closing in on us they are purposely destroying everything in the city and the real Daisuki won’t open a portal in time before the whole city is destroyed."

Everyone looks at the clone of their main leader and he takes a deep breath with his eyes closed. When he opens them, he looks at Saku and grins.

Daisuki Clone: "Well, looks like you’re going to have to kill me so Scylia and my real self know the situation and the real me can open a portal in time for you all to escape."

Everyone is shocked at the resolve of the clone, except Saku, who is looking at the clone narrow eyed.

The rest of the group looks and waits for Saku to respond to the unorthodox plan.

Saku: "You were hoping something like this was gonna happen, just to prove a point, weren’t you?"

Daisuki Clone(smiles): "What’s the matter, Saku? It’s just a clone."
