Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 882: For You, I Didn’t Even Sue Bella Green. Isn’t That Enough?
Fiona Grantham broke down and cried.
Victor Bennett looked at her, feeling helpless and heartbroken.
"I won’t, I’ll come back, so don’t cry."
"Victor, can’t you agree with me just this once? I know that’s your family, but you’ve got your brother at home. Why must it be you who’s going? I’m disabled now, I can’t even walk, what will I do if you leave?"
Victor Bennett wasn’t aware of what was happening online, but she did know.
She knew where Victor Bennett was going, to see Bella Green?
How could she let him go?
Hearing the word "disabled," Victor Bennett’s pupils suddenly contracted, and he stood there silently.
"For you, I didn’t sue Bella Green, isn’t that enough? Why do you have to leave me?"
Fiona Grantham’s crazed appearance was truly frightening, and Victor Bennett was taken aback.
Seeing her get so agitated, he feared she might really go mad.
"Okay, okay, I’m not going anywhere, don’t cry." He only felt a headache.
Clearly, Phoebe used to be so considerate, why had she become like this?
But thinking about how her legs were beyond recovery, Victor Bennett couldn’t say anything.
With broken legs and a lifetime spent in a wheelchair, who could accept such a thing?
Thinking about it, Victor Bennett couldn’t utter a word.
This was what the Bennett Family owed her...
...
As expected, Victor Bennett didn’t come.
Bellamy Homes was indeed furious and wanted someone to bring Victor Bennett back immediately.
Even if they had to break his legs, they must bring him back.
In the end, it was Mason Bennett who stopped her.
Not until after eight did Bella Green slowly wake up.
As soon as she woke up, the burning pain in her back made her gasp in shock.
The anesthetic had worn off, and the pain was unbearable at this moment.
Hearing the sound, Mason Bennett quickly held her hand.
"Bella, how are you?"
As he spoke, he pressed the call button for the nurse.
Soon, a young nurse came over with Richard Shaw.
"If you can bear it, don’t use anesthetics, they have side effects on the body," Richard Shaw said.
Anesthetics are good, but using them too much isn’t.
"Take some painkillers. This wound will take a while to heal."
Hearing Richard Shaw’s nonchalant tone, Mason Bennett instinctively glanced at him, his eyes cold.
Richard Shaw acted as if he hadn’t noticed, checked her over, and then left.
"Oh Bella, my poor Bella, are you okay? Do you want to eat something?"
Old Mrs. Bennett wiped her tears as she spoke.
Just barely awake, Bella Green forced a smile: "I’m fine, just a little pain, nothing serious. I’m not hungry now."
The pain was too much for her to eat anything.
"This child, she says it’s not serious..." Old Mrs. Bennett mumbled, covering her mouth as she started to cry.
"Mom, please don’t cry. If you do, Bella will feel even worse."
"Yes, yes, I won’t cry anymore." The old lady quickly wiped away her tears.
Bella Green smiled and then looked over at Mason Bennett. She pressed her lips together and spoke hoarsely.
"Brother, I’m thirsty."
Upon hearing her, Mason Bennett quickly got a cup of water, put a straw in it, and brought it to her lips.
Bella Green took a couple of sips and then smiled.
"Thank you, brother."
Hearing the girl’s smiling voice, Mason Bennett just felt pained.
How could he not know that this little one was trying to placate him so he wouldn’t be mad?
