Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension-Chapter 73 - 72:Title at the end
A/N: before we begin, I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your support. You have decided to give this newbie with his flawed book a chance and have shown me unconditional love and support, with power stones and golden tickets, I appreciate you all..
A special shout out to @Omni_Dragon..
Bro, the gifts you sent me this week and the one before? Absolutely appreciated, you absolutely motivated me in ways you have no idea, at least now I can write knowing I have a great few that actually want to read..
I took this time to type this here since most of you might ignore it at the end..
Don’t forget to join our little family on discord, link in synopsis or my profile...
I just want to say, I love and appreciate all of you, so without further ado, let’s dive back in..

The rest of the climb after that spat on the 41st floor was the tower getting increasingly desperate..
So desperate in fact that by the time I reached the 45th floor, the creatures didn’t even wait for me to fully appear, they exploded in a sonic sound wave that rocked my internal organs harder than the wildest roller coaster rides to exist..
Fortunately for me,
[Chaotic adaptation activating....]
This ability of mine seemed to be having a field day...
The attacks barely registered anymore after that, and so, I cleared my 49th floor, effectively leaving everyone else in the dust, not that I bothered to check...
So, in true infuriating fashion, "next" I demanded..
The light of the 49th floor didn’t just fade, it snapped shut like a book. Now Usually, the Tower would give me a second to breathe, a moment of "teleportation static" where I can crack my knuckles and prep for the next nightmare.
Not this time.
The teleportation was seamless—too seamless. It felt like I was being dragged through a fiber-optic cable at light speed, my body stretching into a single line of data before being slammed back into reality. My boots hit the ground with a dull, muffled thump..
I didn’t land on dirt. I didn’t land on iron. Instead I found myself standing in the middle of a vast, hyper-sanitized chrome soundstage. The floor was made of some kind of non-reflective, vibration-absorbent alloy that felt like walking on a dense, metallic sponge. There was no wind. No sulfur. No hum of machinery. It was the kind of absolute, "dead" silence you only find in a high-end recording studio or a sensory deprivation tank.
"Alright then, half way through.." I muttered, my voice sounding unnaturally flat in the sound-dampened air. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"So, my lovely tower, What do you have for me this time? A titanic boombox? A twisted combination of a tuning fork and Godzilla? Some kind of Lovecraftian horror that’s going to try and yell my ears off?" I couldn’t help uttering in mock anticipation..
This petty tower has been pulling tricks out its ass the entire time, I had already prepared myself not to be surprised by anything it pulled this time around..
I squinted into the distance, where the chrome floor met a horizon of pure, sterile white. And then, I heard it.
Whirrrrr-clink.
A high-pitched, mechanical whirring that sent a jolt of electricity straight to the back of my brain. The sound was different, not the vibrational hum of the resonance stalkers from earlier, this felt more static.
That’s when I saw it..
A silhouette slowly began to descend from the white void above, lowering itself onto the stage.
My eyes widening in slow motion as I stared in incredulity at the figure..
It was lean, segmented and encased in cobalt-blue and white containment plating that looked entirely too "clean" for this gritty, blood-soaked Tower.
As it touched down, several dozen circular metallic disks detached from its shoulders and began to orbit its body with a synchronized, neon-blue glow. It turned its head—a giant, black speaker-grill for a face—and "looked" at me.
[EVOLVED][BOSS]<Acoustic Singularity: "Echo" (B)>
My jaw didn’t just drop, it practically hit the chrome floor.
I stood there, frozen, the "Wreck-it Ralph" energy I’d brought this trial suddenly vanishing like smoke...
"You’ve got to be shitting me," I choked out, a hysterical laugh bubbling up in my throat.
"Acoustic singularity your dad!!!"
Bitch, that was motherfucking echo echo...
And not just normal echo, but ULTIMATE ECHO ECHO...
"Ultimate Echo Echo? Really, Tower? We’re doing copyright infringement now?"
This shitty tower had stopped trying to be original, it was now going about infringing on other peoples shows.
It couldn’t even come up with something creative for a name..
Click...
Click..
The detaching sounds coming from the "boss" before me took my attention away from the comically ridiculous situation...
Its sonic disks had already detached from its body, circling my frame with a high pitched REEEEEEE!!!
I recognized this move, who wouldn’t? This was the move that almost turned that guy’s internal structure into liquid smudge despite all the powers he’d stolen...
"Unfortunately for you, I’m not kev—-oops" I stopped myself before I could finish that statement...
"SONIC DOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!
Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Following the boss monster’s yell, a barrier wave surrounded me, the sounds bouncing off the walls and blasting right into me..
The attack was physical, mental and internal all the same, I could see why it was such an effective move..
[Chaotic adaptation activating]...
Unfortunately for the tower, this skill of mine already had enough experience with attacks like to nullify it instantly...
I didn’t give the tower anymore chances to continue this ridiculous show....
I didn’t even bother controlling what little atmospheric pressure there was, i just clenched my fist, let everything bleed into it..
<Divine apotheosis>, <Primordial Titan’s Strength> <Kinetic Mass Amplification>...
The whole sterile room began to shake and quake, I could see echo echo lowering its stance, it seemed to have recognized what was coming..
"Sorry pal, I like you, I really do, but you gotta go" saying so, I unleashed my cannon like punch...
A muffled boom!!! Follows by the collapsing of the entire room signaled my completion of the 50th floor..
Once again, without any acknowledgment, the tower merely teleported me away...
Only this time, the silence felt ominous, I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I could feel something off was going on..
******
Outside the spire, the crowd had already decidedly lost all anticipation for a proper fight whenever Dante came across an opponent..
Evidently they were shocked to have seen the blue-white robotic creature that attacked with sonic discs, but that was all, a mild shock..
None doubted for a second what the outcome would be, and true to their faith, Dante delivered..
"Man, he might just clear all 100 floors" someone whispered..
"I don’t think so.." another replied..
"Hmm? Why’s that? Nothing’s been able to take a single punch so far, I think he’s good to clear it all" the first man countered...
"Well that would be true if the opponents remained low leveled creatures, but at the rate he’s going, he’ll come across S-rank monsters soon, I think that’ll be where he stops" the second person reasoned..
"I see, you might be right"
This conversation was single to this pair, it was an ongoing interest of the entire audience, both on site and those watching from their homes..
The college question on everyone’s mind now was "where will he stop"...
********
From the 51st tower floor, my climb became unnaturally smooth..
The tower stopped pulling tricks, stopped mutating weird creatures, it stopped sabotaging my climb..
Everything was smooth... so smooth in fact that I had began to become overconfident..
"Heh, seems I broke an ancient tower" I couldn’t help smirking as I crossed the 50th boss floor..
I couldn’t help the feeling of pride that washed over me..
This was what true dominance felt like...
For a moment I’d underestimated the significance of just what was projecting itself unto this spire..
I’d forgotten the immensity of the tower of ascension..
And so, I unconsciously let my guard down, not sense the wrongness of the situation till it became too late...
{Ding!}
The tower had finally acknowledged my accomplishment of clearing the 60th floor..
An ominous ding resounding in my head..
Then, right then, my senses went haywire...
I wasn’t given the chance to ponder on what caused my danger senses to start screaming..
I was teleported immediately..
But the moment my feet touched the 61st floor, I knew immediately that things had gone horribly wrong...

A/N: was anyone else expecting echo echo to make a cameo???
