URBAN VILLAIN SYSTEM-Chapter 38: Is that All...?
The Sky Ring Arena...
The 7th Octopus House had never seen such chaos. This type of commotion only happens during Martial Competition of Octopus Organization.
At the very center stood the Sky Ring Arena... a massive raised platform, open to the sky above, allowing natural light to pour down like a divine spotlight. It was a battlefield reserved for serious combat.
Today—
It was about to witness something unexpected.
As Tony and Edward walked toward the arena, the crowd surged behind them like a tidal wave. Word had spread too fast, too wide. Within minutes, thousands filled the gallery, every seat occupied, every standing space claimed.
The ringing bell of the Sky Ring echoed loudly, its deep metallic sound announcing a duel that no one had expected... yet no one wanted to miss.
"Is it really happening?!"
"Tony actually accepted?!"
"This is insane... he’s going to get crushed!"
"Forget crushed... he’s going to die!"
Voices overlapped, excitement and disbelief mixing into a chaotic roar.
Edward was the first to step onto the platform, his posture confident, his expression already regaining the arrogance he had lost earlier. He casually took out his bank card and paid the arena master, deliberately glancing at Tony with a mocking smile as if to remind everyone who was in control now.
Tony followed without hurry, his steps relaxed, almost lazy, as though he were entering a casual spar rather than a life-deciding duel.
"Any restrictions?" the arena master asked, his voice deep and neutral, though his eyes carried interest.
Before Edward could answer...
"Suppress the arena," Tony said calmly. "No life force. Pure fist fight..."
The words landed heavily.
For a moment, even the arena master blinked.
Then—
A smile slowly spread across his otherwise stoic face.
"Very well," he said, clearly intrigued. "It has been decades since this Sky Ring hosted a pure fist fight. I hope you youngsters don’t disappoint."
The crowd exploded.
"A fist fight?! Is he crazy?!"
"It was agreed in the first place... Didn’t you see their verbal fight...?!"
"But, the black suitcase is giving up his only advantage!"
"No life force against a Grandmaster?! This is suicide!"
Even Julie couldn’t hold back anymore. "This idiot... he could have just refused earlier," she muttered, her voice filled with frustration, though there was also something else hidden beneath it.
Lily stood silently near the edge of the ring, her gaze fixed on Tony. Her expression remained calm, but her fingers tightened slightly. She had already prepared herself to intervene if things went wrong.
And yet—
A small, almost irrational spark of hope flickered within her.
***
The arena lights activated.
A suppressive force descended across the Sky Ring, sealing the space. The moment it spread, every martial artist in the audience felt it... life energy was completely suppressed inside the Arena.
Tony tested it briefly, trying to circulate energy within his body.
Nothing.
"It’s working perfectly," he muttered, stretching his arms casually, his movements loose, almost careless.
Edward stepped forward, his expression turning darker.
"What do you say, Tony?" he asked, his voice filled with confidence. "Satisfied with the arrangements?"
The excitement in his eyes was unmistakable. All the humiliation, all the anger— this was his chance to release it.
Tony yawned.
Actually yawned...!
"Do you have backup medicine?" he asked lazily. "Because I’m going to break your teeth today."
The entire crowd froze.
Then—
Exploded.
"Did he just say that?!"
"Is he insane or fearless?!"
"He’s provoking a Grandmaster like this?!"
Edward’s face twisted.
"Stop your nonsense!" he snapped, his voice cold. "This isn’t your Clark family where you can say anything and get away with it. This is the Sky Ring... and here—"
His killing intent surged. "You will be crushed like a ping-pong ball."
Tony nodded thoughtfully. "Sure," he replied, his voice dripping with mockery. "Let’s see who becomes the soft ball."
The speakers carried their voices across the entire arena.
Every word... Every tone... Nothing was hidden.
***
Far away, hidden from the public eye, powerful figures watched silently through screens.
As the news of Tony and the 9th Prince’s fight spread, all the family members gathered.
The Clark family... The Frost family... The Imperial family.
Even within the Clark estate, curses filled the air.
"That idiot actually accepted!"
"He’s going to ruin our reputation!"
But not everyone was displeased.
The Third Elder... The Seventh Elder... Kevin Clark... Their eyes gleamed with anticipation.
"Lose... just lose," Kevin muttered under his breath, a cruel smile forming. "And everything ends."
***
Back in the arena—
The countdown began. 10... 9... 8...
The crowd joined in, their voices rising, turning into a deafening chant that echoed across the entire structure.
"...3... 2... 1...!" Silence.
For a split second, everything stopped.
Both fighters stood still.
Then—
Edward narrowed his eyes. "What?" he said, his tone mocking. "Afraid to throw the first punch?"
Tony tilted his head slightly. "Oh," he said casually, "I was giving you the first move out of pity."
A pause. "Seems like you don’t deserve it." And then- He moved.
Whooshhh...!
No warning... No buildup... No visible preparation.
[Tyrant Dragon Fist – First Form: Silent Strike]
Bang!!!
A sharp, explosive sound echoed.
Edward’s eyes widened in pure shock.
"What—?!!!"
He hadn’t even seen it.
The punch landed directly on his face before his brain could process what had happened.
"Aghhh!!!"
Blood burst from his nose as his head snapped back violently.
The crowd froze.
"What just happened?!"
"Did you see that?!"
"I didn’t even see his hand move!!!"
Shock spread like wildfire. Before Edward could recover—
Tony stepped to the side. His body moved like flowing water.
[Tyrant Dragon Fist – Second Form: Coiling Dragon punch]
Bang!!!
The second punch landed cleanly on Edward’s cheek.
"AAGHHH!!!"
A tooth flew out.
Spinning... Visible... The entire arena watched it.
And the silence shattered.
"WHAT?!"
"His tooth—!"
"He knocked out a Grandmaster’s tooth with bare fists?!"
"This isn’t normal!!!"
Edward staggered backward, his vision spinning, his face already swelling as blood dripped down his chin.
His mind— Blank. The pain came after.
"How... how is this possible...?" someone whispered in disbelief.
Tony stood there, his posture unchanged, his expression calm as if nothing extraordinary had just happened.
The crowd stared at him... Not with mockery anymore... Not with disdain... But with something new. Fear... Confusion... Awe.
Lily’s eyes narrowed slightly, her heart beating faster than before.
She had seen it clearly... No tricks. Pure, overwhelming physical power.
And that truth— Was far more terrifying than anything else.
Tony flexed his fingers slightly, then looked at Edward, who was still struggling to stand properly.
"...Is that all, Drama Queen?" he asked quietly.
The question echoed louder than any shout.
And for the first time— No one laughed.
