Unscented-Chapter 1117 - 1059 Melissa is missing

For her,everything was like a time bomb.Who knows what else Mrs.Gibson was up to have?

It was even possible for her to threaten the security of her children like she did before,so she had to be cautious.

Mrs.Gibson knew that she couldn’t escape,so she didn’t want to jump out of this matter.She just sat in the back seat without saying anything.

"You still don’t wanna speak?"Melissa urged her again.She didn’t know what was the use of her persistence.After all,if one option or another,she wasn’t going to let her do anything more.

Mrs.Gibson shook her head.

Melissa was baffled.She didn’t know if she should go to her extremes.

But she had to do something so,she drove the car to the nearby police station and opened the door for Mrs.Gibson.

"I’ll ask you for the last time.If you still insist on not telling me anything then,don’t blame me for being rude."

Melissa threatened again.She hoped she didn’t have to take this step.After all,she was a part of a family.

"If you are locked up today,no one will be ask you about this matter nicely as I do.You’ll be tortured until you agree to speak up!Do you think you can come out alive from the police station without speaking up with Murray’s authority and influence?"

No matter how much she threatened,nothing worked at all.Mrs.Gibison wasn’t moved at all nor was she afraid.

"You even dare to do that?Aren’t you afraid that Murray might not go easy on you if he knows that you’re sending me to police without anything?"

Melissa snorted.She didn’t care about it at all."I don’t know if Murray will go easy on me or not but one thing I know that is you won’t be going off hook so easily."

The two of them were in a stalemate.Neither of them took a step forward or back.

When the police came out,he saw Melissa.He walked up to Melissa and greeted her warmly.

"We have almost investigated the matter you mentioned before.What clues do you want to give us today?"The policeman said to Melissa.He didn’t see Mrs Gibson who was inside the car.

"I’m going to give you a surprise today."Melissa said,and walked towards the backseat of the car to pull the door when it was suddenly slammed.

That was exactly what Melissa wanted.

Next,she quickly got in the car,rolled down the window and said to the officer,"Actually,I’m not sure about anything now.I’ll contact you in future if I find anything."

She then drove out of the station,leaving the officer baffled.He didn’t understand what was going on.

"I’ll tell you the address and keep driving."Mrs.Gibison have her directions and Melissa drove accordingly which finally led them to an deserted suburb with almost no people around.

If it weren’t for Mrs Gibson’s direction,no one would have found the way to even drive here.

Melissa pulled over the car while Mrs.Gibison walked out of the car and followed her.

Just as she was following Mrs.Gibison,her phone rang loudly.It was Murray.When she was about to answer the call,Mrs.Gibison glanced back and warned her,"don’t tell him anything else you won’t be knowing what you’re supposed to know now!"

Melissa had no choice but to listen her.

She made up an excuse to Murray and hurriedly hung up the call.

Then,she followed Mrs Gibson to a house that was nearby.It looked like a cottage with no one living around.

Mrs.Gibson pointed at the room and said,"Yes,you are right!I do have connections with those gangsters.And the person who helped me to contact them,the one you’re searching for is inside."

Melissa went straight inside the room to know who it was.But as soon as she entered,she suddenly started feeling dizzy,her head spinned and soon enough the vision in front of her blacked out.

On the other side,Murray waited for Melissa.It had been a long time since she answered the call so he decided to call again.But this time,the call wasn’t answered!No one had seen Melissa or knew where was she going.

He started to feel anxious and in a moment of desperation,he had to go to the hospital to check the surveillance video.

"Aunt Linda,I can’t find Melissa.I’m going to look for her!"Murray informed,ready to leave.

When Murray went to the monitoring room,the security guards ignored him,not to mention that they didn’t even allow Murray to step in.

"Sorry,I have a rule that no one is allowed to watch the surveillance video."They said.

Murray was extremely frustrated because of their ignorance so,he called the Dean of the hospital who arrived there in less than few minutes.

"Do you even know who you are offending?If you still want your job,apologize him!."The Dean roared at the guards.

This hospital was originally invested in by Mr.Marc,and now that Mr.Marc has passed away,whether they continue to invest or not depends entirely on Murray.

Besides,the hospital was able to be top listed only because of them.

The security guard immediately bowed his head and apologized,"sorry,I’m sorry.We really didn’t realize who you are,so we stopped you!I’ll find the footage for you immediately."

Murray ignored them and sat in front of the monitor.He found the time when Melissa left the hospital with her car.

Murray sat in front of the screen with his gawking eyes narrowed at Melissa’s figure.

"Mr.Gibson,is there anything serious?Do you need me to ask the security guard downstairs for you?"The Dean asked anxiously when he saw Murray all tensed up.

"My wife is missing."

Dean was surprised for a moment.They all knew that he had divorced and now he was already calling someone his wife without any news of another marriage.He noticed Melissa on the screen and that’s when he realized that he was referring to Melissa.

"This morning,I saw Mrs.Gibson’s car driving out of the hospital.Isn’t she back yet?"It suddenly occurred to the dean that he had seen Melissa’s car when he had just left this morning.The color of the car was too shiny which made him notice the car and it’s owner.

Murray asked,"are you sure you didn’t see it wrong?"

The Dean shook his head and described the shape of the car."Isn’t it a blue sports car?"

Murray nodded immediately.It was a blue sports car that Melissa drove here this morning.

"Did she leave alone?"

"I saw that there was a woman beside her and they were having a deep conversation before they left.She looked somewhat familiar to me."

The Dean tried to recall the woman’s face carefully and suddenly exclaimed,"she...Yes,she is your mother,of course!What a poor memory!She was here to visit your Grandpa this morning."

Now he finally got some clues.His suspicions were right!It turned out that it’s his mother again who had something to do with it!

Everything bad that was happening in the family was related to her and now,this time she really went overboard with Melissa’s disappearance.
