What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?-Chapter 827: Just Crush Everything
I flew through the corridor, making my way towards the ship’s cargo hold where the broodmother of these creatures had set up a nest and where the majority of the creatures were congregated.
Along the way, there were several of those creatures that filled the corridor and I unleashed my telekinesis on them without holding back.
Several of them were smashed against the wall and had their heads crushed before they even realised I was there.
There were a few that I didn’t kill which I left for Yumiko, my Inucani lover slashing through them like they were made of paper with her swords while still keeping up with me without a problem.
As we got closer to the cargo hold, the quantity of the creatures increased but it didn’t really make much of a difference.
All I had to do was wave my hand and concentrate in their direction and the creatures were smashed into the ground.
Then the ones that I missed would be dealt with by Yumiko.
"Am I going too fast?" I asked while flying beside my lover, waving my hand to send one of those creatures smashing into the ceiling.
She shook her head, slashing out her sword to send her blade flying forward to cut through two of the creatures in a single swing.
"I’m fine, Mistress. You can go faster if you want to, I will catch up."
Since she says so... I also wanted to test out my limits a little so this is a good chance for me.
I released the limiter on my Psionic energy a little more and boosted myself forward even faster.
I continued crushing any creature I came across during my flight, making sure that I missed a few so that Yumiko could take care of them.
Using the map on my Codex as a guide, I eventually reached the door that would lead towards the cargo bay.
The door had been busted open as one of the doors seemed to have been smashed and sliced apart so a large hole was now visible.
Just outside of the door were several of these creatures that were just laying about acting like they were guarding the door.
I thrust out my palm towards them and let loose a psionic wave that flung the entire group of those creatures smashing into what remains of the door, flattening them against it and painting the walls with their blood.
I would have avoided destroying the door but seeing that it was already half destroyed anyway and it’s currently blocking my way... I flicked my wrist to pull it out from its sockets before flinging the doors aside.
From what I had last seen on the cameras the entire cargo bay was flooded with those creatures and if I go by what that smuggler captain said, there’s some broodmother that’s just spawning more of them as we speak.
First priority would be to clear a path to that broodmother and see if I can contain it again. If I can’t, I’ll probably just have to kill it.
Then I’ll need to clear the entire cargo bay of the creatures while also keeping an eye out for that unkillable creature that guy mentioned.
I’m trusting my powers to be able to kill it but if that proves to be impossible as well... Then there’s the option of just tossing it out the airlock.
I flew into the cargo bay and I was met with an entire horde of creatures that filled up every visible space inside the hall, all of them turning to look at me the moment I appeared.
Without hesitation, I spread out my senses and pushed downwards, causing the gravity around me to suddenly increase exponentially and smash the creatures around me flat on the ground.
Clicking sounds came from all around the cargo bay and the creatures started moving towards my direction, all of them clearly intent on killing me.
I fished out my halberd and assembled it, feeling the weight in my hands before I swung the polearm forward.
The axe detached from the pole and cleaved through the leading creatures, decapitating all of them in a single blow.
As the axe flew back to reconnect with my halberd, I reached out one of my hands and thrust my palm forward.
A wall of Psionic force blew forward and crashed into the next few creatures, sending them flying back and smashing into their brethren.
Right then, a figure blurred past me, leaping up into the air to spin around and sending two blades flying out.
Yumiko smashed into one of the creature’s heads with her heel, using it as a platform as she spun her blades around and turning the area around her into a whirlwind of death.
The creature below her tried to cut out her legs so she did a somersault through the air before slashing both her blades downwards, cutting the creature vertically in half.
Trusting Yumiko to be able to handle this group, I flew over the group of creatures to head towards the pile of containers that have obviously been broken into, believing the broodmother to be located there.
Seeing that there were a crowd of those creatures surrounding one particular container, I’m guessing they were acting as guards which in turn means the broodmother was probably located around that area.
The creatures started growling at me when I appeared and crowded around a particular container, as though to stop me from reaching the container.
I floated down towards the container and one of the creatures actually leapt towards me while slashing its scythe arms at me.
I held out my arm, freezing the creature in the air and stopping it from moving.
It tried to struggle free but realised that nothing it did could free itself from my grasp.
I then flicked my hand at it, sending the creature flying towards the rest of them that were trying to guard the container.
The creatures got smashed away like bowling pins and I floated down to step onto the ground.
Two of those creatures rushed at me from the left and right, attempting to stop me from reaching the container.
I thrust out both my hands, the halberd in my left hand piercing through the torso of the creature on my left while sending out a wall of Psionic force to smash into the other creature.
With both threats neutralised, I turned my attention to the half destroyed container, turning on the light on my Codex to illuminate the darkness inside.
Sure enough, there was a really large version of the rat-mantis creature with a bulging belly in the corner of the container. Covering around its body were several smaller sized versions of the creatures which looked like they were just freshly spawned from it.
Even as we speak, I’m seeing some of those small creatures pop out from the hole at its bottom, the newly spawned creature giving out a squeak before it immediately climbed onto the body of its mother to latch onto a teat to start weaning.
Hmm... The container looks to be pretty busted at this point so I don’t think I can just contain it anymore...
Well... As much as I want to say that I hesitated in killing some newborns and a mother... This was a creature that has quite literally proven itself to be a pest so... I thought nothing of it when I reached out my hand towards the creature and pushed downwards.
A psionic force came crashing down inside the container’s interior, smashing everything inside of it into the ground and turning all of the creatures inside it into meat paste.
The moment the broodmother perished, there was a loud, ear piercing cry that came out from all of the creatures around, most likely sensing the death of their parent.
All of them immediately started rushing towards my direction, trying to take revenge on the killer of their parent.
Honestly, that actually worked in my favour as I no longer needed to hunt them down.
Heck, I could see creatures rushing in through the doors from the outside as well, meaning every single one of the creatures in the ship was now rushing over here for us to clear out.
I rose back up into the air again, joining Yumiko in eradicating the monster horde where I eviscerated, crushed and flung them all around the cargo bay.
None of them even got close to any of us and if this wasn’t proof that Psionics were completely overpowered, I don’t know what is.
I believe I’ve basically killed over a hundred of them by the time I crushed the last creature’s head telekinetically, letting its corpse join the huge mound of its dead brethren on the ground.
I took a moment to look around, marvelling at the carnage before I realised something.
Where’s the supposedly invincible creature?
Right at that moment, I heard something akin to a low guttural growl coming from the side.
I turned to look and... What the heck is that thing doing here?!
