The Murray didn’t give up calling Melissa,but no one answered.It seemed as if her phone wasn’t with her.

Once Murray found that she left with Mrs.Gibison,he dispatched many of his men to search for her.He remembered Melissa’s license plate number,so he immediately sent people to investigate it’s location.

The Dean also asked anxiously,"is there anything I can do for you?"

Murray clapped his hands and said,"nothing for now!Just help me keep an eye here.If that woman comes back,inform me immediately."

But he knew that Mrs.Gibison won’t be back so soon.Besides,she left with Melissa.

Murray drove away from the hospital to look for Melissa and called everyone for update on her location.

Soon,his assistant called to report about the license plate number.Luckily they found it.

"Found it,but it’s in a remote area and there is no positioning system.I guess it will be more difficult to find the exact location."The information on the assistant’s computer showed that they had completely cut off contact after entering a suburb.

Besides,Melissa’s phone was now powered off which disabled their tracking system.She seemed to disappear all of a sudden.

"Check it out immediately.Tell me whatever you find."Murray ordered,turning the steering wheel furiously.

Murray arrived at the location sent by his assistant.It was empty and desolated,it seemed that no one lived around.

It didn’t seem that someone had been there,not to mention that there was no sign of a car!

Murray called Melissa again,but as expected,it couldn’t be reached!

He leaned back in his car,still in daze of what was all happening.He thought that everything was now over and he could take Melissa back home but he didn’t expect Mrs.Gibison to start the schemes again!

Murray was sure that Mrs.Gibison was also with Melissa,so he tried calling her to find any clue but her phone had already been turned off.

Murray parked the car at a corner and decided to look around.

When Melissa woke up in a daze,she found herself tied to a chair,and there was no one around.

She remembered clearly that she was with Mrs Gibson,and she told her that the person was inside.

How was she kidnapped all of a sudden?

She tried to look around but her head was too heavy.

She didn’t see Mrs Gibson at all.Now,she was tightly tied to a chair,making her unable to break free.

Melissa shouted,"anybody here?"

No one answered.Her screams met with silence until she heard footsteps nearing the room.

"Who is there?"She asked and suddenly a man entered the room.

The man looked quite familiar...too familiar!She narrowed her eyes and studied the man’s face carefully only to be shocked!It was Mrs.Gibison!

Melissa was perplexed to see her dressed as man.She asked,"did you tie me up?"

Mrs.Gibson hummed and patiently answered,"yes,I did it.It took me a lot of time and money to buy that poison.It would be a pity if it doesn’t fulfil its purpose!And the thing is that,I just don’t want you to live in this world,let alone see you so happy."

Melissa couldn’t understand what had she done for Mrs.Gibison to hold such a grudge against her.Whatever they had was not at this level!She didn’t understand why she couldn’t bear to see her live happily!

"I haven’t done anything to hurt you.Why do you resent me so much that you want to kill me?"

The more she thought about it,the more she couldn’t figure it out.

Mrs Gibson walked towards Melissa.But now she wasn’t looking like the lady with class but rather she was looking more like a shrew gangster.

"If it weren’t for you,I wouldn’t have faced so many setbacks.You ruined all my plans.I just want you to know how it feels to lose everything."Mrs.Gibison looked into her eyes and gritted her teeth with utmost hatred.

Melissa realized that the person who felt most threatened in the family was not others,but Mrs Gibson.

"So you are the one who made our family like this?You were behind everything?"Melissa had guessed before that it might be her who kiddnapped Murray,ordered Claire to throw her children in sea,and harm Mr.Marc but she wasn’t still able to believe it then.

Mrs.Gibson nodded silently in acknowledgement.

"I have warned you not to be too close to our family,not to get involved in the things that you shouldn’t!Besides,why did you merge the two companies?"

Mrs.Gibson’s sudden mention of this made Melissa a little confused.After all,Mrs Gibson had never been too close to the company so she didn’t know what difference the company’s issues would make her.

How could she care so much about the company’s affairs?

"You mean that all the crises our company encountered before were caused by you?"She asked to confirm it.She was in daze as her head spinned.Her voice was surprised...too surprised!

"You are smart,but you didn’t use your cleverness in right place.But now,I’ll make sure that you can never use it again.Today,no on exam save you."

Mrs.Gibson pulled a chair and sat opposite to her,looking at Melissa amusedly.Looking at her so surprised,so frightened,she couldn’t help laughing.

"I know what you have done is to get your place in this family in the future.But Mr.Marc never recognized your your efforts whole heartedly.You asked me what I wanted to do,right?I wanted to prove myself in this family and snatch back what I deserve!"

Melissa didn’t say anything instead she listened to her everything to know everything that she missed!

"I wanted to prove myself,but I don’t need it now.I brought Linda back but she didn’t listen to me at all instead she began working on her own accord and insisted on messing the company.What’s more?She even brought Claire to join her!So I had to cast her out of course.I had to trap her in her own hole!"

Mrs.Gibison began spilling everything,thinking that she wouldn’t be alive few moments later to recite it to anyone.So,she began telling her everything without any worries.

It was not until now that Melissa realized that it wasn’t all Linda’s fault.

She was ambitious but not as vicious as Mrs.Gibison.It seemed that the most poisonous snake hid among them in the family and they failed to recognise her.

"Now,I understand that all you’ve done is to take what you want.I can promise you that as long as you let me go out and give me a way to live,I can help you get what you want.I will give you all,including the shares of the company."Melissa pleaded,sounding desperate and convincing as much as possible.

For her,now the most important thing now was to get out of here as soon as possible.As for the rest,she could put it aside for the time being.As long as she could live and return to Murray,she was willing to do everything.
