They arrived at another venue.Sited in the car,Melissa was still pondering about the venue,she said to her assistant,

"Although this place is more better than the other places in all aspects,it still doesn’t look good to me.If we can’t find another place,here can only be used as the final alternative."

Melissa looked up at her assistant and added,

"Keep contacting.I’m far from being satisfied with these places.We need to find a better one."She paused to take a breath.

"We shouldn’t care about the cost.We just need to be concerned if it’ll meet our standard.As for the cost,we’ll handle it later."The assistant nodded as they drove back to the company.

In the office,Melissa sat drinking a coffee,she suddenly remembered what the nanny had told her.She was aware of the reason why Claire took the children away.

"What should I do?Should I love the children or not?After all,they’re really innocent."Melissa soliloquised.She made to the sip from her cup of coffee again,only to find that it was empty.

It was like a person’s anger or resentment.One moment it was there,the next it wasn’t.She placed a call to her assistant,beckoning her to come over to her office.

"I need you to help me organize a one hundredth day party for the babies.I’ll send you a list of the invited people later."Melissa said to her.

"You have to prepare all the little things that the kids would need ahead for the event.The banquet will be held in one of the places we often frequent."

"I’ll send the details and time to you after I’m done sorting them out"Melissa instructed.The assistant nodded when she heard she was being assigned a new task.She knew that no matter how much pressure she had to bear,Melissa was also going through triple of that.

And as the employees of Melissa’s company,they had to bear it together,especially with her being Melissa’s personal assistant.

After the assistant left the office.Melissa picked up the computer and began typing to the issues which needed urgent attention,from one to another.

After she was done,she sent it to her assistant,

"We don’t need to invite Murray this time.It totally unnecessary.After all we’re no longer a couple."Melissa added with a sigh.However she hesitated for a while before making up her mind.

Claire kept to her promise.She brought back the children the next day,and gave the nanny two thousand bucks as a reward.

She came when she knew that Melissa wouldn’t be at home.If they two had met,they certainly would have indulged in a banter.

Although Melissa helped her take care of her children.Claire only thought Melissa had done so just because Murray asked her to.Fortunately,she didn’t maltreat the kids.

In fact,Claire was really without a choice.After all,she had the children out of wedlock.If the news were to spread out,her reputation would be smeared.

Although pregnancy before marriage was not prohibited in this age,it still was a problem.She just had to put up with the arrangement for the time being.When she was finally stable in future,she could finally take them back.

Even if she didn’t get along with Melissa,it was the few things she had to endure.

When Melissa returned home in the evening,she was told by the babysitter that the children had been sent back by Claire.

"That’s okay.Just take care of the kids,if there’s any problem in the future,just call me on time."Melissa replied indifferently.She was still annoyed that the company hadn’t found a suitable place yet.

After the nanny had left,Shayna came in.she had almost completed the selection of the songs within the past two days.She sort to do a few new compositions.

"I started rehearsing with the dancers today.They were some dance step I had to learn afresh."Shayna explained while leaning against the sofa lazily,she didn’t speak as though she was talking to her boss.It seemed more like she was speaking to her friend.

Even while at work,the relationship between them were more of friendship than that of employer and employee.To be able to stay in Melissa’s villa was enough to conclude them good friends

"Tomorrow are the twins one hundredth day banquet.I invited some friends.We’ll host them together right?"Melissa asked and Shayna nodded with a smile.She felt it was time for her to take a break and relax a bit.

It was almost evening,Melissa returned to the Villa and picked the twins.

When she made it to the banquet hall,she kept the kids in a small room and requested someone to help take care of them.

"I’m going to say hello to some friends.Don’t forget to keep an eye on my children for me."Melissa stated before exiting the room.

Melissa went to the door to welcomed her friends.More people trooped in.Her friends had really turned up in thier numbers for the event.

After exchanging pleasantries with all the guest present,and they had fully settled in.Melissa headed back to the small room to see her babies who were the protagonist of the day.

"Where are the kids?Who carried them?"Melissa asked after not finding them in their spot,and no one seemed to be carrying the children,this made Melissa’s heart to pound extremely fast.

Melissa took a deep breathe,she went around asking her friends who were outside if they had seen anyone taking the children away.

Their responses were negative,as none attested to seeing nothing.Melissa felt tears dripping down the corner of her eyes.

If she had really lost the twins,how would she explain to Murray,though they had divorce,but the children were very much theirs.
