The Royal Mark-Chapter 258: Our Future Kids

"Our King, please forgive us. We are just making sure that we will not make the same mistake that we did with your uncle. We certainly learned our lesson," one of the elders said.

"Nonsense! Do you think I would believe your pathetic excuses?" Chris ran both his hands on his face trying to release his frustration by doing it without going all out since Rocco just stopped crying and he didn’t want him to be scared once more.

However, his emotions were very strong. Even though he tried to control his anger earlier, his wolf was screaming inside him, wanting to be unleashed to give these elders a lesson.

[What the hell are you waiting for, Christopher? They insulted our family and yet you are still being nice to them! Let’s rip their hearts out! Let them serve as a lesson for the future members of the council!] Yakobo exclaimed in anger, but, Chris still tried his very best to not do his wolf’s suggestion.

’You know that I want that but I am not a tyrant King. And I never will be,’ he replied to his wolf.

"Get out! Before I take my wolf’s suggestion to rip your hearts out. I will deal with all of you after the coronation. Be sure to attend the assembly on time for anyone who will arrive late is instantly out of the council. Do you all understand?" Chris declared.

"Understood, Your Majesty," the elders exclaimed in unison before briskly stepping out of the hall.

Elsa and the rest watched the elders hurriedly walk out of the room. As soon as they were out of the picture, Hoven laughed hard causing Chris to shake his head.

"Have you seen the look on their faces? That was once in a lifetime! Too bad the guys didn’t see it," Hoven exclaimed.

Elandir took a seat before asking, "So King Christopher, what’s your plan now?"

Chris took a seat, and so did everyone. "I will do what I said. I strongly believe that Arcanis needs a new set of councils from all walks of life. But I still need to think about what will I do with the current council."

"How about you think about it after the coronation? The guests are starting to arrive and I think you should rest today so you’ll have your full energy tomorrow," Elsa suggested.

"The Queen is right, let me and the rest of your elite alphas handle everything until tomorrow. Aeson and Gavin are healed and have already gone to their pack instructing them to assist in the arrival of the people from all parts of Arcanis.

I assigned Blake and Tallor’s pack to patrol the borders together with four other packs. Also, six packs volunteered to chase after the demons and witches that were still within Arcanis. So you see, everything is in order and all you have to do is rest for now, and spend time with your son because after your coronation, you’ll surely going to be buried in work," Hoven stated.

Chris smirked and said, "What would I do without you, Hoven?"

Hoven scoffed playfully and replied, "Of course, you will certainly die! Can’t you see the pattern? Either me, Elandir, or Luna always save your ass! You are such a weakling, to be honest."

"Right..." Elandir murmured while nodding, knowing that every werewolf in the room would hear him.

"I agree," Elsa heard him too and nodded as well.

Chris laughed instead of getting angry and stood up, "That’s why I love all of you. But you are right, I should spend this day with my son since once I am officially coronated then the work begins."

He extended his hand to Elsa and asked, "Shall we?"

Elsa took his hand smiling before turning to Lexi. "Can you please inform the servants to bring our lunch and dinner to our room later? I think these two will just spend the whole day and night in there."

"Yes, My Queen, I will do so," Lexi answered.

"Rylie, please check on Laureen before you go to Kaizer, then inform the guys that they are free to do whatever they like today."

"How about me, Your Majesty? What would I do for you?" Arla asked.

Elsa smiled and touched Arla’s shoulder before saying, "I release you from your duty as the leader of my mages and as my head lady-in-waiting. Go to your husband and tell him what you told me earlier. I wish you all the best in life, Arla."

Arla swiftly hugged Elsa and she hugged her back before Arla left with a wide smile on her face after thanking their queen.

Elsa and Chris together with Rocco headed to their room and Elsa quickly handed their son to Chris. "Hold him, quick."

Chris frowned after taking Rocco as he watched Elsa undress.

"Uhm... What are you doing? Our son is here, we shouldn’t–" Chris uttered but was immediately cut off by Elsa’s laugh.

"I can hear and feel what you are thinking you pervert! I am going to feed him and this dress is too tight and bulky. The fabric is too thick as well and Rocco will feel hot and will just cry if I do not remove it," Elsa explained while undressing.

Elsa lay in bed as soon as she was done and extended her hands to Rocco and Chris. "Come here, bring Rocco here."

Chris watched his wife and son with pain in his heart, ache that comes from loving them too much. He can no longer imagine his life without them in it. Just imagining a life without them infuriates and hurts him a lot.

"Why are you having such thoughts?" Elsa asked with a frown.

"Oopsie? Hehe," Chris chuckled after realizing that he was not able to block Elsa from their link. "I can’t help it, sorry. It’s just that nothing is certain in life. I lost my mom at a young age and my father didn’t even see my son.

Sometimes, I envy you that you have your family even though your situation is not perfect, at least they are still there. My only immediate family before you was Uncle Alaric but he is gone now too," Chris uttered while lying sideways opposite Elsa and playing with Rocco’s red hair.

Rocco quickly fell asleep as soon as he was full but was still latched on to Elsa and would smile every now and then making both his parents smile too.

"He must be having a pleasant dream," Chris said.

"He is happy that his family is now complete. And so is yours Chris, we are your family and we will not leave you. You will see your future grandchildren from Rocco and our future kids," Elsa comforted the emotional king.

Chris took Elsa’s hand and kissed the back of it. "I wish for that, my love. I wish to fill this castle with our kids, to make it lively. I wish to have a big family like yours too."

Chris moved closer to Elsa and checked Rocco who was already deep asleep. He then looked at Elsa who was staring at Rocco with a smile on her face. His right hand landed on her waist before uttering, "How about you, do you want to have many kids?"

Elsa glanced at the ceiling, thinking, before giving her answer. "I think I do. I’m an only child and back then when I saw siblings walking together from school or playing in the park, I wished I had one too. So yes, I also want a big family," Elsa gladly replied with a sweet smile.

Chris smiled back but Elsa did not notice that his right hand was already crawling up to her exposed breast until his thumb drew circles on her crown. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Hmm... It’s my turn to ask, what are you doing?" Elsa jested.

"You already know what I am doing, why still ask?" Chris then captured her lips in a passionate kiss.

"But earlier you said our son is here," she mentioned in between their kisses.

"Yeah, but now he is sleeping. Just keep your voice down so he won’t wake up and don’t curse," Chris whispered before positioning himself on top of Elsa.

"I am not the only one who curses and is loud, are you forgetting that?" she replied.

"I’ll just be loud in your mind..." Chris murmured before sealing her lips again.

Elsa pulled up his shirt, ready for his challenge. Chris willingly helped her undress himself and both made sure to move as little as possible to avoid waking up their little pup.

*KNOCK, KNOCK*

"Your Majesties, King Allister Van der Aart of Zemaria has arrived together with Princess Milda and Mistress Valeria. Shall I inform them to wait in the drawing room or shall I escort them here?" the chamberlain called out.

"Uh..." Chris was stunned and was not able to reply right away before the chamberlain spoke once more.

"Oh, never mind that, My King. I can see them at the end of the hallway with Prince Andrius and Prince Drake and on their way here now."
