Chapter 488: The Loudest Couple Alive

The noise finally stopped.

For a brief moment, the hallway outside Garion’s room fell completely silent.

Dahlia stood there with her arms crossed, eyes locked on the door. She didn’t move right away.

She just waited for a few moments, letting both of them wear something.

After a few moments... BANG!

Dahlia kicked the door open without hesitation and walked straight inside.

The others rushed in after her. The moment they entered, they froze. It was exactly what they expected.

Garion and Rachel were both on the bed, covered by a large blanket.

No one needed to say anything. Everyone understood what had just happened.

Clara slowly covered her mouth, her shoulders shaking as she tried not to laugh.

Rynar turned his head away immediately. Rynor scratched the back of his neck, clearly uncomfortable.

Arden adjusted his glasses and shifted his gaze to the side.

Valtor blinked once. Then twice. Then he grinned.

Seira stood beside him, calm as always, but there was a faint curve at the corner of her lips.

Dahlia didn’t hesitate. She stepped forward. "Master! Elder Rachel!"

Her voice rang clearly through the room. "I understand that both of you were excited, but what the hell are you doing?!"

Garion stiffened. He opened his mouth, then closed it again.

This was the first time he had ever been in this kind of situation.

Before he could even think of a response, Dahlia continued.

"We’re still on the ship. Why couldn’t you just wait until we arrived at God Island?"

She pointed at the wall sharply.

"The walls are thin! We can hear everything you’re doing through them!"

Her face turned slightly red, but she didn’t stop. "Everything!" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

She took a breath, then continued without slowing down. "And not just that... you’ve been going at it for two days!"

She emphasized each word. "Two. Days. Straight."

Her hand moved to her chest as if trying to calm herself, but her voice stayed strong.

"Do you have any idea what we had to deal with? We had to listen to that nonstop for two whole days!"

She turned and pointed at the twins. "Look at them! They’re having a nightmare right now! Their own mother..."

She stopped for half a second, then forced it out. "...their stepmother, getting railed for two days straight!"

The room went stiff. Rachel said nothing. She simply looked at Dahlia. Garion also stayed silent.

Dahlia took another breath, then pointed at them again. "So tell me, Master..."

Her eyes narrowed. "Was this cultivation path really created for this?"

Silence.

Garion sat there, completely stunned. He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t even know where to start. His mind was a mess.

The walls are thin? Two days? They heard everything? Is that actually true? What the hell...?

He couldn’t process it fast enough. But before he could say anything...

Rachel suddenly sat up slightly, pulling the blanket tighter around herself. "Dahlia."

Her voice cut through the room.

Her eyes narrowed, and the usual warmth in her expression disappeared.

"Let me make this clear," she said. "Garion and I are husband and wife. What we do is our business. And it’s completely normal."

Dahlia opened her mouth, but Rachel didn’t let her.

"And you," she continued, pointing straight at her, "you’re already an adult. Stop acting like you don’t understand what we’re doing."

Dahlia’s face flushed deeper.

"That’s not the point!" she shot back. "The point is, you’re making all of us embarrassed by doing it that loud and for that long!"

Rachel raised a brow. "So what?"

Dahlia froze just for a second.

Rachel shifted slightly under the blanket, still holding it tight, her voice rising a bit more. "If you heard it, then you heard it. It changes nothing."

She didn’t look away. "In fact, you should be congratulating us."

Everyone went still. Even Valtor paused for once.

Rachel gave a small nod. "It just means Garion and I love each other deeply enough to show it."

Dahlia opened her mouth again. "But still, you..."

She stopped. She didn’t even know what to argue anymore.

Clara leaned closer to Rynar and whispered under her breath.

"She’s scarier than Master right now. Is she always like this when she’s mad?"

Rynar looked at her like she’d just said something insane.

"Hell no," he muttered. "I didn’t even know she could get this intense. This is the first time."

Clara’s eyes widened a little. "...Damn."

Dahlia clenched her fists. "You’re missing the point!"

Rachel tilted her head slightly.

"Am I?" she asked calmly. "Or are you just uncomfortable seeing people show this much affection?"

Dahlia froze again.

Rachel’s lips curved slightly. "Don’t tell me you’re embarrassed because you’ve never experienced it."

The words landed hard.

The twins went stiff.

Clara covered her mouth again, barely holding it in.

Dahlia’s face turned completely red. "That’s not!"

Rachel continued without pressure, her tone steady.

"If you’re curious, I can introduce you to some of the handsome male disciples."

Silence.

Every single person in the room froze.

Even Arden stopped adjusting his glasses.

Valtor slowly turned his head, eyes wide. "...Damn."

Dahlia stood there for a full second. Then... "SHUT UP!"

She turned and stormed out of the room immediately, her steps heavy and fast.

The door slammed behind her.

BANG!

No one moved. No one spoke.

The room fell completely silent again.

Garion was still sitting there, processing everything, looking like his brain had just crashed.

Rynor slowly leaned toward Rynar. "...We’re not going after her, right?"

Rynar shook his head immediately. "Nope. I’m not dying today."

Clara exhaled slowly. "...Yeah. Good call."

Arden pushed his glasses up and let out a quiet breath. "...This situation escalated way too fast."

Valtor crossed his arms, still grinning a little. "...Worth it."

Seira glanced at him. "Say that again and you’ll be next."

Valtor shut his mouth immediately.

Rachel then looked at the others, her expression returning to calm. "Well?"

Everyone stiffened.

"...Are you all going to keep standing there?"

That was enough.

"NOPE."

Clara turned immediately and walked out.

The twins followed right after.

Arden gave a small nod and left.

Valtor lingered for a second, gave Garion a thumbs-up, then left with a grin.

The door closed.

Silence returned.
