Chapter 75: It is over.

"Holy. . ." Dawson gasped as he saw the state of his nephew. We have trident the light of the lamp as now we were in a public place and no one good point fingers like they could in the dungeon. If anyone has seen us or even seen slide light coming out of the dangers it would have been truly dangerous for all of us. But now that I saw his face and the condition of his entire body in clear light I could not help the tears that came to my eyes.

It was worse than I ever thought. The prince and whoever had been involved in beating Tristan had been nothing but truly brutal to him.

His face was unrecognizable and if I thought so beautiful before, the extent to which it has happened I saw now.

Konrad had placed him down and we all had gathered around him.

"I. ." I did not know what to say. This was far more than I had anticipated in the very beginning. "I did not know that cost in this much harm, this much pain." The words left my mouth as a major whisper and I would not be surprised if Dawson, did not catch them. They were barely out of my mouth when he glanced at me and nodded.

"Yes, this is terrible. They did not show any kind of mercy on him even though he was not responsible for any accusations placed on him." He clicked his tongue.

He gripped Tristan’s chin very lightly and move his head around to see the extent of damage done because the other parts of his body were covered with clothes soaked with blood and grime.

"I do not want to say this but it is a miracle to know that the boys survived." He observed.

"Boys?" Merilyn whispered and gasped out of terror. "Did the prince hurt Tristan’s friends too?!"

Boston did not bother to answer Marilyn immediately. He continued to expect at his nephew more only living me and Marilyn without thoughts that were taking worst turns by the passing moments.

"Aye," he nodded, "Allan and one more. They have been treated well and are on their way to recovery. Tristan however," he leaned back and stood straight, "is enjoyed much more than them and it would take him a lot more to recover."

It only added more to my guilt.

The young man has suffered too much. Nothing could ever make me feel better than I could do for him in return for such suffering.

I could not look at him anymore. It hurt my heart to see how injured and in what kind of pain he was. This is why I decided that probably it was the best time to see him leave.

"I think you should leave for the cabin now." I turned and said to his uncle. "He should receive the treatment as soon as possible. God knows how much time we would take to recover." My eyes still went towards him unknowingly once more.

He nodded and sighed. "You both like each other at a fool would be able to not see that. Would you visit him when you have the time?" He asked and I turned my head to him in shock. Dawson had a knowing smile on his face as if he knew what he was doing.

But I did not care for that. After his nephew was being brutally beaten and was heavily injured because of what I had done how could he ask me that if I ever wanted to come and meet him?

"You would allow me too?" It was an uncertain statement, something that I was afraid of.

He titled his head and nodded. "Why ever not?" He laughed slightly. "I could say that you’re being there with him would help him in his recovery."

"Me?" I point to myself with a slight frown. "How could I ever help him in his recovery? I do not have any knowledge of a physician or even a healer."

He shook his head and stepped forward to the horses. "You know where the cabin is located. There will always be someone with Tristan and the boys and we would love it if you would come and pay a visit to him. We cannot you to do that daily so, do it when you are available."

Uncle Dawson did not wait for me to reply to him instead she sat on the seat comfortably and we’re the horses so that the court would start running along with them. Marilyn and I watched in silence as the cart disappeared from our eyes and so did along with did Tristan.

My Tristan.

Ah, the irony, I almost laughed. I was one of the most desirable women in any country but there were people chosen for me instead of using them for myself. I wondered if I would ever have to transit you, someone, for me and if I did would Tristan have me?

He might not, the probability of that happening was more which is why I would never hold it against him.

"Princess," Merylin’s voice brought me back to reality.

"What?"

"That man, the jinn," she whispered in the lowest of voices, "is not here anymore!"

I turned around immediately and search the whole area once and then twice. I did not see him I did not even notice him leaving in the first place.

"But," I turned in a different direction but still did not see him, " I did not even hear him move. Where did he go after placing Tristan in the cart?" It was the middle of the night and if he had moved then we would know where he had gone. We had to since there was no one else apart from us here which made it easier to know where what sound was coming from.

I could certainly feel the chill in the air. It came out of nowhere and all of a sudden and I could only pull my cloak tight against my body.

"I think we should leave now," Merilyn said to make as she looked around very of the situation as well. "It is not safe for either of us to be out at this time in the night. I am not sure if Royal guards are patrolling today. Must we head in now?"

I nodded. "From the servant’s quarters. It would be easier to go there from the Royal gardens that if anyone who saw was would be able to report to the prince they would only say that we were seen coming out of the royal gardens."

There was almost no one while we were on our way back to the quarters we were given. If there was it was an occasional made or a servant who must have been sent by Royal member for nighty chor. Rest over gardens two or three at most developed patrolling the ground. Thankfully we did not cross the paths of the royal god who was patrolling at night.

I sighed in gratitude and sent to small prayer to god as I finally saw the entrance of the servant in front of me.

My plan was successful. Thanks for the prince would not notice that we were gone and so was Tristan in the same night. Till now everything seems to be something that was working in our favor.

I frowned as o heard a noise. It was . . Some kind of thumping sound coming from somewhere in the garden itself. I wondered what that could be?

"Merilyn," I called, "What is that noise?"

She looked over in that direction but shrugged her shoulders. "I do not know, perhaps, someone is cutting wood?"

"At this hour?" I asked immediately. "It must be a fool was trying to disturb the sleep of Royal members then."

I headed in the direction it was coming from and I could hear the crunching of leaves which meant that Marilyn was also following me.

"Wha—" I gasped!

Merilyn came beside me and peeked, only to snort and giggle.

"Maybe," she giggled some more as I tried to forget about it, "if I thought about it harder I would have recognized it."

"Stop laughing then!" I hissed as I could not control my face from heating more. "What do you mean if we talk about it you can have told me about this. Merilyn this is not something I want to see!"

The sounds did not stop and I cannot control myself from peaking at it once more. "It’s. . .so. . "

His backside was very . . Firm and the thrusting did not seize. He continued and the pace did not deter.

Merilyn hummed. "I think he is a soldier. Soldiers often like it rough." Marilyn whispered to me as she continued to watch the site in front of us. She told me that as if it was a forbidden secret.

I gulped. The girl only had the sounds of pleasure coming from her and I could tell that he was not small. "She. . ."

Merilyn giggled, "Let us go. I think you have had enough for today." She pulled my hand and cupped my heated cheeks.

I knew I knew that deep down in my heart, I wanted such passion as well.
