Alex sent a strand of his sense into the World Ring, and the next instant, his body froze.

Inside the ring, he can see an entire world.

Even more shocking, this world was much larger than Kryllax's Domain World, and the scope of its lands stretched far beyond what Alex could sense in a single sweep. In fact, Alex can tell that it was almost the size of Essence Sky World. He can see mountains floating in the sky like islands. There were also rivers glowing with spiritual light. Giant forests spread across the horizon, filled with dense spiritual energy far richer than anything outside.

But that was not what shocked him the most. There were countless buildings as well, yet among them, one structure stood tall and untouched.

It was a gigantic palace, made of jade-white stone and silver-gold pillars that reached the clouds. Strange symbols were floating around it, forming a protective barrier that had kept it untouched by time. Even from a distance, Alex could sense a sacred aura emanating from the palace, as if millions of years of accumulated history lay within.

Alex's heartbeat quickened.

Just by looking at the gigantic palace, Alex could tell that this structure must have been one of the original buildings of the Immortal Medicine Palace. The reason he could recognize it so easily was that the palace looked completely different from the other structures inside the World Ring. It was giving off an ancient as well as a sacred aura, as though it had survived countless eras. Its walls were carved with mysterious runes resembling flowing rivers of light, and every pillar seemed to contain traces of powerful medicinal energy. Even from afar, Alex could feel a calming force washing over him.

Compared to the ruined or lifeless buildings around it, this palace was standing tall like a sovereign guarding its own land.

Moreover, Alex had a feeling that he could enter the storage ring and explore the world inside.

To verify his feelings, Alex first used a drop of his blood to bind the storage ring and then wished to enter.

The next moment, he disappeared and reappeared inside the World Ring.

In an instant, his feet landed on soft, damp grass. His vision cleared, and he realized he was now standing directly before the massive palace. There were trees, wild flowers, and stretches of fresh green grass swaying gently in the breeze all around him. In the midst of this quiet forest, the enormous palace stood like a lone titan, appearing completely out of place.

The contrast was striking.

Alex walked forward step by step until he finally stood before the giant palace gate. Up close, the doors towered over him like a mountain. The carvings on the surface of the door appeared as though they were watching him silently.

He reached out and tried to touch the gate.

But his hand suddenly stopped in mid-air.

Tap! Tap!

It felt as if an invisible wall was blocking him. No matter how much strength he used, his fingers could not move even an inch closer. It was like touching solid stone, except there was nothing there.

Alex frowned and tried again.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

No matter how many times he pushed forward or how much strength he used, he wasn't able to break through that invisible barrier.

He gathered energy into his arm and pushed forward.

But still, nothing happened.

He tried again, using even more strength, but the result was the same. The force blocking him did not move and did not weaken. It simply refused to let him get close.

Alex stepped back and stared at the gate silently. After trying many times, he finally understood.

It was not that the palace rejected him. It was just that he was not strong enough to enter.

This palace was not an ordinary building; it was part of the true Immortal Medicine Palace. Everything here was built with runes, laws, and power far above his current level.

Even though he had the inheritance, it did not mean he had the right to control it.

Right now, he only "held" the inheritance. But it was not truly his.

Alex let out a slow breath, feeling both helpless and frustrated. But he was powerless to do anything. In the end, he can only sigh and mutter, "I'll come again after becoming a Saint."

He looked at the palace once more before turning away and leaving the world of the storage ring.

He didn't bother exploring the rest of the world because there was no need. Every other place within this ring world—mountains, rivers, forests, countless buildings—could be scanned instantly through his Divine Sense. Only the massive palace remained an exception.

When he scanned the storage ring earlier, he had already gained a rough understanding of the entire layout of the Ring World. He knew what type of treasure was located where.

"This World Ring is truly a treasure trove."

There were so many treasures in his hands now that he felt as though he could cultivate all the way to the peak of Sainthood without ever needing to open the main palace.

After exiting the Ring World, Alex took a deep breath and muttered, "It's time to reunite with the others."

Before he separated from Serena, they had already decided to leave this galaxy together and enter the true universe.

By now, he had learned a thing or two about Serena. He knew she was not from this world and had come from the outer universe. Unfortunately, her spaceship had already been destroyed, leaving them with no choice but to hitch a ride with Cyr Mistveil.

Serena had told Alex to leave this matter to her. They had agreed to meet again at the same place where they first crossed paths—the Star Heart Restaurant, located in the Heavenly Ice City of the Heavenly Ice Region, within the Essence Sky World.

When to meet?

The time had been set to exactly one year from now.

In the meantime, Alex decided to take care of his own matters, one of which was to visit the Heavenly Cloud World. He still had the silver token with the engraving of an eagle on one side and a sun on the other. This token could serve as his identity proof to enter the Heavenly Eagle Sect. [𝑅𝑒𝑓. 𝐶ℎ: 325.]
