Myriad Devils-Chapter 233: Cosmic Vessel
"Thank you for blessing Felix as well," Leren glanced at the figure at his side.
This entity with divine tattoos etched on his skin appeared too holy to make contact with the mundane earth, so his wings were spread out in the air, and he hovered above the ground.
Smiling, Anon gently said, "Destining a fourth world ascension is an insignificant matter. More importantly, if Felix’s destiny isn’t fixed, then how can you separate from him with peace of mind?"
In saying so, his expression turned slightly less warm as he continued, "Personally, I would not care for a mortal’s destiny; however, I can understand and appreciate your loyalty toward your only remaining blood relative."
A loyal person.
This was why he opted for Leren to be his otherworldly assistant.
Leren heard this and shook his head, inwardly thinking, ’This young lord might appear human, and even holy, but there is no humanity within him...’
There was little to no falseness in such a way of thinking, so Anon was not offended by his thoughts.
Naturally, Leren remained unaware that this same young lord could see through him.
Slowly, he rose from the wheelchair before grasping at the sky.
Under Anon’s piercing gaze, his figure transformed into an otherworldly knight with a towering silhouette, and majestically, it leapt out of the material dimension and Earth’s time flow, in one fell swoop.
In reply, Anon’s wings quivered slightly.
His speed was unparalleled amongst otherworldly knights, so Leren did not realize when he appeared in the outer void outside of Earth’s time flow.
Returning to his true image, he naturally towered over Anon. He was more than four times the height of Anon, who still maintained a little more than six feet.
However, for otherworldly creatures, this size was insignificant.
One must understand, stellar cosmic energy nurtured the mortal spirit. After the process of spirit, flesh unity, the otherworldly body could not be classified as a regular flesh and blood creation.
In fact, in the vast cosmic space, some mortal creatures weren’t flesh and blood creations to begin with.
These otherworldly bodies were not mere containers of stellar cosmic energies, but generators of stellar cosmic energy.
Every otherworldly creature was an entire miniature cosmos and contained a near-infinite reservoir of stellar cosmic energy.
Although once an existence enlightened a principle, they did not need stellar cosmic energy to fuel their principle-based magic attacks, there were many other aspects of an otherworldly creature that were powered by stellar cosmic energy.
One such aspect was the body.
As the miniature cosmos within the body evolved into a genuine one, it would also generate its own stellar cosmic energy; however, the rate at which it produced stellar cosmic energy was slower than simply plundering the cosmic space’s stellar cosmic energy.
And by plundering the cosmic space’s stellar cosmic energy, it quickened the rate of a miniature cosmos’s evolution and completion.
With an otherworldly body being a literal cosmos, it meant that it had two base forms.
The first form originated from its flesh and blood origin, which was usually three, four, or five times that of their previous mortal body.
On the other hand, their second form originated by bringing forth their inner cosmos into the outer world.
Even the most undeveloped inner cosmos could span trillions of miles... this meant, even a newborn otherworldly creature had a second body that was light-years tall.
Previously, Anon had killed the little dragon with a glance.
To kill an otherworldly creature, one would need to destroy their inner cosmos.
But the inner cosmos functioned on stellar cosmic energy, so destroying this inner cosmos meant annihilating every spec of stellar cosmic energy at a rate that was faster than their ability to generate their own stellar cosmic energy and absorb the cosmic space’s stellar cosmic energy at the same time.
However, this was only one of the more direct ways to kill an otherworldly creature.
For example, the dragon Anon killed was already suppressed, with its second body completely sealed, so it could not absorb, wield, or generate stellar cosmic energy.
Killing a suppressed otherworldly creature was not worth mentioning.
Anyways...
With any one otherworldly body being so large in actuality, ordinary planets and stars could be crushed within the palms of their hands.
’Maybe, this is the reason why life planets have a consciousness and a pulse.’ Anon could only wonder.
Even with his current strength, he could not destroy Earth. This was likely the cosmic space’s way of protecting mortal life.
His Principle of Destiny was unable to give him the answer. This was likely due to how little of the principle he had actually enlightened.
Anyways, when speaking of stars and celestial bodies, these things were as significant as cosmic dust under his power.
Anon’s attention shifted to the strange black substance that slowly morphed into a black armor with a sleek design on Leren’s body.
Leren gently placed his index and middle fingers on his glabella. After a few seconds, he removed them, and what was left was a star emblem etched on his forehead.
A radiant light unfolded in the void, before a miniature boat-shaped object materialized before the duo.
As the miniature ship grew, Leren explained, even though Anon did not necessarily need one, "As a newly ascended otherworldly creature, you may not be aware of cosmic vessels. With one like mine, even we otherworldly knights can move at the speed of Dimension Lords."
The speed of a Dimension Lord was the limit of speed allowed within the cosmic space.
Anon revealed a knowing smile, observing the cosmic vessel’s transformation with intrigue, whilst Leren continued his explanation, "These things were designed to absorb and use the stellar cosmic energy of the cosmic space as fuel for its movement speed."
Though he did not take long to explain the cosmic vessel’s origin, it had already transformed into its actual form by the time he finished speaking.
The cosmic vessel was not large, around one mile in size.
There were numerous intricate designs across its body, but what was most striking was the star emblem that attracted the gaze.
Leren showed a proud smile and explained, "Cosmic vessels aren’t costly, but cosmic vessels with that mark are. Back then, I spilled quite a bit of blood on a machine treasure with this emblem."
"The Weaver of Dreams weaved the Domain of Dreams for our human race, and the Star Drifting Monk established the Stellar Threading Pathway."
"Created by him and augmented by the other Overlords, including the Dragon Burial Origin Ancestor himself, only spaceships marked with the Star Drifting Emblem can enter this dimension."
Leren concluded with, "The Stellar Threading Pathway is vital to maneuvering through the Human Domain’s innumerable minor regions, and its many major and prime regions at a speed beyond the cosmic limit."
Anon nodded his head in understanding.
The Human Lord had already ordered him to set out to planet Eldara, the central planet of this Blue Wave Starfield.
The reason for this was simple.
Unlike Earth, planet Eldara was a strategic planet for the Human race.
Strategic planets were the only planets where individuals could make their first entry into the unique dimension, the Domain of Dreams.
Typically, only the central planets of Prime regions and some exceptional Major regions qualify as strategic planets.
After all, it would not be easy to find within an entire major region a thousand individuals who had the qualification to enter the Domain of Dreams, whether that be mortals or otherworldly creatures.
However, Blue Wave Starfield held the Holy Land, Earth.
Because those who were not native to the Holy Land, Earth, were denied entry into the Holy Land by Earth’s pulse, the central planet of this starfield was the next best option to become a strategic planet.
With the Holy Land, Earth residing within this starfield, there would also be more brilliant individuals appearing within it.
Naturally, the most brilliant individuals had a higher chance of appearing from planet Earth; however, it would not be problematic for planet Eldara to be the strategic planet to filter talented mortals and otherworldly creatures.
’The birth of powerful individuals generates immense cosmic providence for their origin planets.’
’It is to be expected that Earth’s cosmic providence is incredible after giving birth to an Overlord.’ Anon assessed.
Cosmic providence was a mysterious concept of the universe.
It was difficult to grasp; however, it was something that allowed a race to cultivate a continuous influx of powerful individuals.
This concept increased the luck of an entire race and its members, and had likely assisted in Anon’s successful attempt at otherworldly ascension with a cultivation in the second world.
However, if it were just about increasing luck, then beings like Dimension Lords would not commence cosmic wars to grasp more of it.
’With multiple Human generals, and a second, secret Overlord as well, it is no wonder they refer to Earth as a Holy Land. Earth could even be the Human race’s main source of cosmic providence.’
The duo approached the cosmic vessel, prepared to set out; however, Anon stopped this loyal otherworldly knight and asked, "Do you not wish to meet with him before setting out?"
Leren froze upon hearing his words.
His gaze momentarily turned to the direction of planet Earth. His vision was not obstructed by many things in the material dimension.
In the military academy, only the dimensional core could perceive his gaze. With an emotional sigh, he shook his head.
"It’s okay."
Felix was his only blood relative remaining in this world; however, this young lord had already established a destiny for Felix.
There was no reason to remain on Earth and secretly protect the boy, but if he were to meet him before attempting to separate, it would be that much more difficult.
