Chapter 162: A move - III

Just as the waitress left Evelyn palmed her entire face and let out an exhausted sigh.

She had expected that when she would leave for a small town in the middle of nowhere in the United Kingdom, there was no possible chance of meeting any familiar faces and especially of those that could not wish her well.

And instead of doing that the total opposite happened.

Instead of staying away from Chaos, she had landed in the middle of it.

"Oh my god," she said to herself as she looked at her daughter who was enjoying the world outside the window.

By looking at the amount of people that look like zombies it was clear that there was farming of marijuana going on here and it had to be illegal.

If it was happening in such large quantities then this was going to be a battlefield and the kings were going to have a play at it.

Those kings were going to be big, bad and powerful and she was very familiar with them.

Those kings want all of the stash and they would want all of that at once which meant that they were going to be here soon because news like this would never escape their ears for too long.

Evelyn once again ran, her eyes were on the place. If everyone was high and the waitress was used to it enough to joke about it then it had already been long enough and she did not have much time.

But how hard has it not come in the eyes of a figure of authority until now?

Entire town was getting high on marijuana if no one knew about it? By the looks of it the owner of the place must have confirmed because these people did not think that they occupied the space and his Diner. Their tables contained no food or drinks and they were just sitting there staring into space or slowly laughing to themselves and like most of them were doing, sleeping it off.

It had already been too long and by Instinct she knew the time had come for them to arrive slowly into the town which was probably why Giovanni was in a hotel that was less than five stars and had less opportunities to offer.

He was laying love for this.

And a smaller world leading a small pack was here then, the alpha one of the biggest one was going to be here soon.

Salvatore was going to be here soon.

Shit.

"Mummy?"

Evelyn looked at her child who pointed to the waitress who was again standing near them. "You need to tell her what to bring."

Evelyn smiled softly before opening up the menu, "what do you want?"

"Choco chip pancakes and blueberry muffin?" Bella sounds hopeful. Her big Blue eyes just like Evelyn stared at her mother hoping that she would allow her to have a hearty breakfast. Every child is saved.

Hopeful.. that her mother would buy her this breakfast.

It broke her heart.

"You know what," Evelyn closed the menu and passed it to the women, "I would have the same." She announced with a smile as she handed the menu card to the waitress.

"Yes!" Bella threw her fists in the air joyously.

****

It turned out there arabella was perfectly capable of finishing 3 chocolate chip pancakes into blueberry muffins on her own. Her little two year old body was too greedy and was able to finish all the sweet goodness.

And of course that had brought a sugar rush. It was a massive fun and the only option that Evelyn could find was to take her to a park.

A park which to her surprise was entirely deserted. Not you when one child was hanging out of the swings.

Keeping a careful eye on her daughter the entire time And Evelyn concluded that whoever the young parents were, had either high on marijuana or had escaped the town because of it.

Now she was carrying her daughter home or to the new place that they were staying in.

Perhaps laying low was much better. She could stay in and make sure that she would find a better town before making an escape there.

If those people reached here then they were going to make sure to scout the area and make sure that everyone was doing their bidding.

"I love you," she whispered to her daughter and placed a small case on her forehead. A soft one so that she would not wake up.

She moved inside the lift and silently waited for it to go up to the floor where her home was. Once she had unlocked the door, she placed her daughter on the bed before placing pillows on her side so that she would not tumble down.

"Now what to do," she whispered to herself as she looked around the room. It was a simple room containing a bathroom and a small side for a kitchen.

The kitchen was not much but barely something that could help her in making tea and warming up whatever food she would have ordered from the diner or the kitchen.

She sighed, maybe she could go down and bring herself a newspaper. That way she could see when the trains come and go and also a map.

The map or help her to know the area better. At this moment she needed to find out what towns were closed and which ones would be out of their reach.

She grabbed the key and stepped out of the room.

Evelyn pushed the button to the left and waited for it to come to the second floor where she was staying.

Numbers changed to the number two and that is when the left doors opened.

She raised her eyes only to meet the eyes of someone that she has been running from.

"Giovanni.." The word left her mouth before she could realize as the man’s eyes widened on the sight of her.
