"Babe,wait up"Ezekiel called after Avery who stormed out of the room angrily,with the intent of going out tonight to give Isabella a piece of her mind.
Not only did the news she just heard was a huge slap to her face and that of the family,she had ended up stressing herself and had gotten over excited about the wedding.
In actual sense of what just happened in her absence,that there’s no wedding tomorrow,and there’s no idea of the whereabouts of Hazel and her son.
Isabella was her friend.
But that all changed when she abandoned her child and fled the country,and now she’s back to claim custody of the child who had been in her care for months now.
How ludicrous that was sounding!
There’s no explanation of hers,that would justify her actions.She committed a huge felony that she’s in support of Hazel’s attitude.
She deserves what she’s seeing right now,and as for Antonio, Heavens were clearly working in their favors seeing that all these happened in her absence.
She would have sent such a heartless man, with his ex wife, out of her house.if she found out that they were the biological parents of Hazel.
Here, she was actually thinking of going behind Hazel’s back to search for her parents,with the intent that it would have been such a lovely thing to do for the Orphan.
Now,she understood the reason why Hazel has insisted that she moves on with her life, without finding who her parents were.
It was as if she could predict, that they were nothing but senseless immature adults that couldn’t just handle their differences,and had involved their innocent children in their drama.
She could imagine how emotional,and physically stressed out Hazel was right now, and had done what’s best for her soul by leaving with Zaiden to God knows where.
There’s not going to be any wedding ceremony anymore,which was adding much to their problem at hand.
It was certainly going to be big news tomorrow,well,it’s not surprising any more how their lives had drastically turned out in these past few months.
She’s had enough of the citizens, using their family problems as a daily dose of entertainment, no!
She expected much.
This wedding was supposed to be the talk of the country,it was supposed to clear out all doubts in the hearts of everyone about Zaiden’s scandal recently with that Model.
It was supposed to cover up the murderer case,that had being bothering everyone for a while now.
The wedding ceremony was supposed to be do alot of things,and the most important of them all,was to see her son finally get married to the love of his life.
Her grandchildren.
She had everything pictured out,she planned for their wedding night ,and now this!
She suspected as much that something was wrong, the moment she walked in to find everywhere calm.
The preparation for the wedding tomorrow was halted, and the servants were nowhere to be seen.
In Fact,it was quite like a graveyard. She wondered where everyone went, especially Hazel. She’s always up watching her favourite tv station that she recently got addicted to.
What was the name of that show again?
Big brother Naija.
That’s a reality show that is held in Nigeria,she didn’t understand the reason why she would get used to something like that,it wasn’t basically happening in their country.
But as usual,Hazel is always full of surprise.Her suspicion that everything was not okay was confirmed,the moment she noticed that Grandpa’s favourite flower vase was not in its usual position anymore.
Rather,it was replaced by another which she knew he would have thrown a tantrum about,and no one would have gotten a wink of a sleep tonight after hearing what happened.
Dinner was served,yet,no one was found eating at the dining table and the cook had filled her in on what happened but she didn’t understand.
But that’s until she walked in on her husband’s conversation with Grandpa,they were seriously talking about what happened today with the door open.
The conversation was a really deep and important one,that they didn’t remember to close the door in case of anyone eavesdropping on their conversation,which wouldn’t have been possible if they had closed the door.
Every bedroom in the house was sound proofed.
To her surprise, Ezekiel was the one who invited them over for lunch ,which was a means to settle everything while using lunch as an excuse to drag everyone down here.
She was mad.
No, annoyed.
He had no right to do that,Hazel’s feelings were of much more importance to her, than inviting her parents to see her.
It was just yesterday that she found out she had a twin brother,and also yesterday she got to meet her mother.
He should have given her the space,and let her decide on when to meet her parent’s,and not him making those decisions on his own.
She flared up the moment she heard that both couples ran away,that was what broke the camel’s back that had her matching angrily to the car.
Isabella needs to get her ass cautioned,just because she gave birth doesn’t make her a mother.
There were a whole lot of ladies out there ,who knew the exact meaning of motherhood rather than her, who was nothing but a disgrace to motherhood.
A mother does not abandon her child,no matter what happens.
She had no idea of the situation she was in that made her do that,but it’s not going to change the fact that she did what she did.
If Hazel is serious about not having anything to do with her, friendship be damned!
She would fully give her the support she needed,Hazel had grown a lot on her that she knew the very first moment she lay her eyes on her,she was the right choice for her son.
A lovely soul she was.
Yet,was damaged by the storms of life which were caused by her parents,and now,she is once again happy.
They found her.
And they want her.
But she doesn’t want to see them.
Hazel’s happiness matters at this moment, that’s what she’s going to fight for,had it been Ezekiel didn’t drag her back to face her angry face.
"What exactly do you think you are going to do if not to add fire to the already burning flame?"He asked, watching the way she shot those eyes at him as if what he said didn’t make any sense.
"Of course,I intend on burning down the whole house, Ezekeil, if that’s what’s going to make Hazel happy"She spat.
"I didn’t see anything wrong with what I..."Ezekeil tried to explain.
He just did what he thought was right, Antonio had gone through a lot these past few years,and what sort of a friend would he be if he kept it a secret about who his daughter is?
"Oh! You did a lot more damage than you can think of babe,how could you just call the whole family to meet Hazel when she’s not yet ready for any of that?"
"Well that’s because i don’t think it’s right waiting on Hazel to make her decisions without the parents working on winning her love"
He’s not only surprised,but astonished and hasn’t really gotten over the fact that initially, he didn’t want Hazel getting married to his son
If he had persisted further with that,maybe right now Antonio would still be blaming himself and wallowing in self pity, anguish and regret,if Hazel had left Zaiden.
This was clearly fate working hand in hand with both families,and right now.He’s going to do everything possible to use that fate that had brought everyone together, to build that family once again.
After all, why is he called the peacemaker if he doesn’t help restore peace to the disorder?
It would also benefit both families,and reduce the attention they were getting these days from the citizens.
But yet,Avery wasn’t thinking in the same perspective with him,all she cared about was Hazel and Zaiden only.
Does he have to worry about the fact that the both of them, had taken his wife’s attention from him?
"Fine,so what did you gain from playing superman?"She asked, with folded arms,"Nothing! Absolutely nothing,but rather,you guys have pushed that innocent child to the wall and she has retaliated by running away"
"They would be back soon if that’s what you are worried about?"

"Sweetheart"He called,a sigh leaving his lips,this was actually funny.
He was arguing with his wife,which was the very first time in months,and damn!
She looks really hot when she’s angry.
"Ezekeil!"She yelled, snapping him out of his thoughts as he licked his lips when he regained himself.
He’s never going to take her seriously,not ever!
They had far more important issues to handle,and here he was giving her those sweet looks that always remind her of their youthful days.
"He would call us soon my love,maybe he doesn’t want to do that when Hazel’s nearby"Ezekeil tried calming her worried mind.
He had forgotten so soon how precious her son was to her,he’s only what she got,well not anymore.
