I Just Wanted to Teach Cultivation, But Goddesses Keep Coming!-Chapter 263 Testing the Elasticity of the Saintess’s Resolve
The door closed softly behind them, and a faint hum followed as the soundproofing formation activated, sealing the room from the outside world.
The quiet that settled in felt almost oppressive.
Without hesitation, Su Muyao moved to the bed and lay down, her movements stiff and deliberate.
Her hands rested at her sides, fingers curling slightly against the sheets as she tried to steady herself.
Her breathing was shallow, her chest rising and falling a little too quickly.
Memories surfaced unbidden, fragments of Lin Feng’s overwhelming presence and the sheer intensity he carried between his legs.
He was not small by any measure, but big, long, thick, and fat in a way that was impossible to forget.
It wasn’t something she could easily ignore.
Just recalling it sent a chill through her body, her back tensing as a faint shiver ran down her spine.
"I hope I can get through this alive..." she whispered under her breath, her voice barely audible even in the sealed room.
It was half a joke, half a genuine fear.
Closing her eyes, she offered a silent prayer, as if bracing herself for what was to come.
Time passed.
At first, she lay there rigidly, waiting. Then, slowly, the tension began to wear on her.
Her thoughts grew hazy, her body relaxing against her will.
At some point, without realizing it, she drifted off.
When her eyes opened again, she blinked in confusion.
The ceiling above her looked the same, yet something felt different.
The tight knot in her chest had loosened slightly, replaced by a strange grogginess.
"...Did I fall asleep?" she murmured softly.
Pushing herself up into a seated position, she brushed a few strands of hair away from her face and looked around.
That was when she noticed Lin Feng.
He wasn’t anywhere near the bed.
Instead, he sat off to the side, completely absorbed in something she had never seen before.
Suspended in front of him was a glowing screen, filled with vivid colors and moving images.
In his hands was a strange object which was small enough to hold comfortably, yet covered in numerous buttons and controls.
On the screen, figures darted about rapidly, moving in ways that seemed almost unreal.
They held peculiar objects which were long, rigid things that spat out flashes of light and tiny bursts of flame.
The scene was chaotic, filled with motion and energy that made it hard to follow.
Su Muyao stared, momentarily forgetting everything else.
Her earlier tension, her dread... all of it was pushed aside by pure confusion and curiosity.
What... is that?
She had never seen anything like it before.
It didn’t resemble any technique, artifact, or illusion she knew of. And yet, it felt strangely captivating.
Her lips parted slightly as she prepared to ask, her voice already forming the question in her mind but before she could speak, the glowing screen flickered and vanished without warning.
The room fell silent once more.
Su Muyao blinked, caught off guard, her gaze lingering on the empty space where it had been.
"You’re finally awake," Lin Feng said as he stood up and walked over to Su Muyao.
"Did I fall asleep? I’m sorry, Lin Feng... I must have been more tired than I thought," Su Muyao said, a hint of embarrassment in her voice.
The thoughts of Lin Feng’s unusual treasures were quickly pushed aside for the moment.
"It’s no problem," Lin Feng replied calmly. "You simply misunderstood why I asked you to come here. It’s not for what you’re thinking... but for something else entirely." He paused, studying her expression before continuing.
"I want to ask you something, Muyao. Do you want to become a cultivator like me? You’ll grow stronger, faster... and more importantly, you’ll live far longer. As long as you wish, the two of us can remain together."
Su Muyao froze, her eyes widening in shock. For a moment, she couldn’t even process his words.
The idea was too sudden, too unbelievable. But as it sank in, her heart began to race.
To be with Lin Feng... forever?
"I... I would like that, Lin Feng. I would like that very much," she said, her voice soft but filled with longing. Then her expression dimmed. "But... I was tested when I was younger. I don’t have a spiritual root. I can’t cultivate."
A trace of sadness lingered in her eyes. That memory had been one of the most painful moments of her life.
Lin Feng shook his head slightly. "You don’t need to worry about that, Muyao. If I say you can cultivate, then you can. The only question is..." His gaze sharpened slightly.
"Can you endure the cost of that change? It will be painful... far more painful than you can imagine."
He could have made it effortless and painless for her, but he chose not to.
Some things, when gained too easily, were never truly valued.
Su Muyao did not hesitate.
"I can take it," she said firmly. She stood up from the bed and faced him, her earlier hesitation gone. "I can endure anything... bear anything... as long as it means I can be with you and Wanwan."
A faint smile appeared on Lin Feng’s lips, filled with approval.
"Now that’s my girl," he mused in his thoughts with quiet satisfaction.
A few minutes later, they began.
Su Muyao sat cross-legged on the bed, settling into a lotus position as she closed her eyes, her expression turning solemn.
"This will hurt, Muyao," Lin Feng said quietly. "But don’t worry... I’m here. I’ll help you endure it."
With a subtle flick of his fingers, a surge of crimson flames blossomed around her, wrapping her body in a burning aura.
The heat was intense, searing yet controlled, as if it sought to refine rather than destroy.
"Aahhh!"
A sharp cry escaped her lips as the pain struck all at once.
Her body trembled, her brows knitting tightly together as waves of heat coursed through her meridians.
Her breathing grew uneven, soft sounds of pain slipping out despite her efforts to hold them back.
The process was far more intense than she had imagined, each passing moment testing her limits.
Lin Feng watched closely, his expression focused and steady.
He monitored every fluctuation in the flames, carefully guiding their intensity so they would temper her body without breaking it.
But just five minutes later, something shifted abruptly.
"Ahhhh..."
"Ohhhh..."
"Ughhh..." Su Muyao’s cries of pain sounded strangely lewd, stirring Lin Feng’s little brother, who stood up, firm and unyielding without further taunting.
"This will be a long night..." Lin Feng muttered under his breath.
