Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 321: Do You Really Think I Can’t Beat You?
After speaking, she turned her head towards the window, also sulking with Victor Grant. Victor noticed she seemed to be wiping her tears and realized his previous actions were a bit rough. He hurriedly grabbed tissues to help wipe her face.
"I’m sorry, I was too irritable earlier. Please accept my apology!" Victor tried to suppress the anger in his heart, humbly speaking to May Morgan.
May flicked away his extended fingers, deliberately turning her face away completely.
Victor awkwardly held the tissues, his fingers paused in the air for almost a full minute, before helplessly retracting them.
"Are you hungry? Let’s go back and eat something first?" Victor cautiously asked, looking at May’s stubborn silhouette.
May still didn’t speak, nor turned around. Seeing this, Victor knew continuing the conversation was pointless, so he fell silent, remaining quiet throughout the journey home.
By the time the car arrived back at the estate, it was gradually getting dark. As May returned home with Victor, she suddenly looked at him seriously and asked, "Jacob Jennings, did you let him go?"
Victor glared at her, took out his phone, and showed her a video. In it, Jacob Jennings was being escorted into the international airport by a few people.
"You’ve seen it. He’s already been sent back by my men." Victor replied coldly.
Seeing Jacob indeed gone, May finally felt somewhat relieved. She looked up at Victor but, seeing his displeased expression, chose not to speak further and went upstairs.
Victor didn’t follow her upstairs but had the house chef prepare a table of French cuisine for May.
Today was their wedding day; even if it was filled with unpleasantness, it was still a day worth celebrating. He didn’t want to keep sulking with May, considering they were to spend a lifetime together. Making her happy was the best outcome.
After dinner was ready, Victor went upstairs to invite May for dinner, finding her asleep, hugging a blanket. He approached her, coaxing, "I had the chef make a French feast. Would you like to come down and eat a little?"
May didn’t move, only responded blandly, "I’m not hungry, go eat yourself."
Victor clenched his fingers, suppressing his anger, once more speaking gently to her, "What’s the point of eating alone? Would you accompany me, please? Today is our wedding day; we should celebrate, don’t you think?"
Bringing up the day made May even angrier. She abruptly sat up from the bed, glaring at him, shouting, "What’s worth commemorating? This marriage was something you forced upon me from the start!"
Victor’s Adam’s apple moved, his voice gradually turning hoarse, "I forced you, so what? Weren’t you fine before? Who agreed to come to France with me to get married? Who said we could live together for a lifetime?"
"I didn’t know Vincent’s difficulties back then, I..."
"He has difficulties and you’re willing to go back? What about my feelings? When he abandoned you, why did you call me? Have you really treated me as a backup? I knelt to my parents to marry you, willingly forsaking my dignity. Why are you doing this to me?"
The anger he had kept inside finally burst uncontrollably in response to May’s defense of Vincent, leaving Victor feeling deeply disappointed.
He loved her so much, willing to pay any price for a smile, yet in the end, how did she treat him? Just because of the other’s difficulties, she wanted to entirely abandon his efforts and run back happily?
"I didn’t... Victor, I’ve always told you I might not love you as much as you think. You keep forcing me, forcing me to marry you, be with you to this day. I know I owe you much, and I’ll repay what I can, but feelings can’t be forced."
"Repay? What will you repay with? Money? Do you think I lack money? What I lack is you, you!" Victor suddenly became agitated and pushed May, pressing himself upon her.
"May, you know how much I love you; you know. I know I can’t have your heart, so if that’s the case, use your body to repay me. Give yourself to me, and I’ll forgive you!"
Victor pressed his robust body on May’s small frame, grabbing her head and kissing her chaotically.
May instinctively began to resist, stretching out her hands to push Victor. But as soon as she extended her hand, Victor seized it in his palm, pulling it roughly.
"Do you really think I can’t beat you? I’m letting you. May, when I want you, can you escape?"
Victor’s smile grew colder, resembling a devil. He reached between May’s legs, abruptly yanking one wide open.
"Victor, don’t touch me!" At the moment his hand reached between her legs, May’s face turned ashen, she growled through gritted teeth.
"Why can’t I touch you? You’re my wife now; in this world, only I can touch you!" Victor wore a wicked smile, forcing his body between her legs.
"Not only will I touch you, but tonight, you’ll not leave from beneath me; I’ll make sure you know I’m not a man you can control at will. I’m good to you because I want to be, but if I don’t want, I’ll make you understand what a living hell is!"
Victor seized May’s face, which he was obsessively enamored with, suddenly pressing his kiss down.
"Hiss—!"
Unceremoniously, May bit his lip as he pressed down, causing Victor to immediately wince, releasing her.
"Are you a dog or what?" Victor, furious, couldn’t help but yell at her.
"Hit me if you dare!" May bared her teeth, glaring at Victor above her, provocatively.
Victor stared at her face for a full minute before he finally let out a slow breath. He gently brushed her cheek, suddenly laughing helplessly.
"How did I end up in your hands?"
Yes, back in the day, when he roamed outside, what kind of women didn’t come easy? How could it be he just couldn’t be harsh with her?
"Today is our first wedding day; I don’t want things to get too ugly. I gave you a lesson just now, don’t ever mention that man in front of me again, understood?"
Victor relented his anger, finally rising off May.
As though she hadn’t understood his warning, May stubbornly continued to glare at him, saying, "I want to go back tomorrow."
"Impossible. From now on, you’ll live here. Without my permission, you can’t go back."
Knowing May had never been abroad and was unfamiliar with the land, Victor intentionally troubled her.
