Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Confessing to Him

"Adrian." Faye Turner put away her smile and said to him very seriously, "I don’t want to tell anyone about this for now, including Grandpa."

He naturally understood her thinking, it’s always good to be cautious of others, especially Melanie Lancaster.

So, the fewer people that know, the safer the child will be.

Hence, he nodded and agreed, "Alright, I’ll listen to you."

"Once I finish this IV, I want to go home." She spoke again, "I feel much better and don’t want to spend the night in the hospital."

"Alright." He agreed with her as well.

The girl smiled at him, feeling a warm surge in her heart, feeling so happy.

So, she nodded, promising him, "Adrian, I will be a good wife and a good mom."

"I believe in you." Adrian Lancaster was also ready to say goodbye to the past, trying to forget Sienna, and trying to love this woman.

Though, deep inside, it would truly hurt.

But he must live his life well, letting go of what’s lost and unobtainable, and embracing acceptance. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

In the car on the way home, Adrian Lancaster and Faye Turner sat in the backseat, with Mr. Kerr driving.

They didn’t discuss the pregnancy further; he held her hand, and at this moment, their hearts grew closer because of the child.

Faye asked him, "I heard there’s a design master exchange conference, and I want to attend it to learn something. Do you think it’s alright?"

"I’ll save you an invitation." Adrian Lancaster replied without hesitation.

The girl was surprised, "Is it organized by Prestige Group?"

"What else did you think?" The man chuckled, "In Argent, to gather half of the design industry, no one else has such influence except me."

Faye admired him a little more and smiled, "Mr. Jamil said he would reserve an invitation for me."

This surprised Adrian Lancaster; he turned his eyes, puzzled written all over his face, "Do you really know each other?"

"Yes, we do know each other."

He asked again, "How did you meet?"

Faye took the opportunity to confess, "Because he is Mr. Moon."

As the words fell, she turned her gaze, colliding with the deep pupils of the man, and gently smiled at him.

Adrian Lancaster’s eyes were filled with shock.

She took this chance to tell him because she didn’t want any misunderstandings between them in the future.

With a child on the way, they should live a good life, embracing simplicity and reality.

Adrian Lancaster’s brow lightly furrowed as he thought of something because he had seen those chat records.

Faye watched his expression and quickly added, "I only found out today as well."

He was puzzled, "But did he call you a master? Is he your apprentice?"

Looking at the chat records, it was all formal, no joking around!

"Well... sort of." Faye decided to tell him everything, "By chance, we followed each other on Xiaohongshu. I’ve always liked design, and he’s always been in the industry."

"So, occasionally, he would reach out to me for advice, sending drafts for me to review. I would provide my suggestions from the standpoint of an online friend without any mental burden, and he found them quite reasonable, so he made improvements."

"Over time, he acknowledged me as a master online. I never knew his true identity, and we enjoyed conversing in Chinese. Sometimes he could even understand some dialects."

"So, I always assumed he wasn’t a foreigner and thought he was very young, probably a freshly graduated student."

The amount of information left the well-traveled Adrian Lancaster stunned.

So, Jamil acknowledged her opinions and suggestions?

In other words, Faye had a talent for design!

But wasn’t she skilled in the field of traditional Chinese medicine? The injury on his arm, which he’d lost hope for, was almost healed thanks to her.

"I’m very much looking forward to your timeless design." Adrian Lancaster suddenly felt confident about her.

The girl was full of anticipation as she said to him, "Now that my mindset has changed, the initial design needs some tweaking!"

She was confident in herself too!

The timeless design would be a gift for her child’s first meeting!
