Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 434: I didn’t point it out to be you
I had the chicken soup amidst their stares, both of them.
I didn’t mind. In fact, if I say I was already used to it. Besides, if I wanted to chase them out, I’d only end up wasting precious time and the soup would get cold.
"How is it?" Ki-hoon asked, and I lifted my head to see that expectant look in his eyes. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
He was eagerly awaiting that praise, once again confirming that he had indeed made the soup with his own hands.
"It’s great, Hyung," I said, smiling heartily. "I like that you still know the amount of pepper I like in my soup," I added and his face lightly flushed.
"Yes, how could I forget?"
Such a lovestruck lover.
He was so adorable to look at when he was being all loving and affectionate. But it’s not like he’s not handsome every other time.
Seo-Jun noticed Ki-hoon was stealing all the attention and grew a little dissatisfied but he had doubts that he could steal my attention so easily while I was enjoying the soup.
So, instead of doing anything, he drew my chair from my dressing table over and then sat in front of me, crossing his legs as I had become a piece for him to spectate on.
I looked at him, briefly but said nothing and continued.
If he wanted to get me to talk, he’d have struck up a conversation.
It didn’t take long before I finished up the soup, licking the plate thereafter but then paused.
I wasn’t alone, so where was this confidence in licking the plate coming from?
I got embarrassed and began to stutter a bit.
"S-so, that... That w-was..."
But Ki-hoon laughed, as if thrilled that I went so far with the soup he made and Seo-Jun couldn’t hold the straight gaze on his face either.
He smirked.
And amidst all that, I was sure I heard him mumble,
"I guess I’ll have to take up some cooking class."
I know I didn’t hear wrong so I tittered. He wants to put in more effort, huh?
The night ended without further drama. I mean, no other drama besides both men sleeping on both sides of my bed.
I can’t say I didn’t expect it, after they argued about who won most of my smiles.
And just now Ki-hoon seemed to have gotten another extra after making me the chicken soup. Seo-Jun didn’t want to lose so he also employed his own tactic.
He showed me a cute kitten video.
That’s not him making me laugh or smile directly but it worked.
And so, we all ended up in bed.
"Jo-Pil, you should use my body heat more," Seo-Jun said. "I’m hot."
Yeah, sure you are. You must be filled with so much helium that your head keeps floating, haha.
"Don’t listen to him," Ki-hoon argued back, reaching for me and tapping on my belly. "You should sleep as comfortably as you want."
Seo-Jun didn’t like this, of course. Ki-hoon’s words felt a bit insinuating to him.
"Are you saying that he’ll be uncomfortable if he sleeps in my arms?" Seo-Jun asked, his forehead squeezing in. But Ki-hoon did not fall into any provocation and simply said,
"I didn’t point it out to be you. But if you feel you’ll make him uncomfortable then what else can I say?"
Slowly, I felt myself sliding under the blanket as their glares became even more heated.
I felt so little. Ah, right, like a bunny rabbit being trapped in the fight between two tigers.
This pressure is just not for me, so let me hide away where it’s safe.
But nooooo~
They just had to pull me out of my safety blanket and include me in the war.
"Say it, Jo-Pil. Who makes you uncomfortable and who’s right?"
I stared blankly at the ceiling. Why is this happening when both of them want me to rest?
I can literally feel a tear drop hanging from my eyelids but can they see it? Of course not, they’re too far into their war to see it.
"I don’t know why you’re both fighting." I suddenly said, putting my sweet tongue to the act. "If I found either of you uncomfortable, I wouldn’t be able to sleep with you by my side, right? But I don’t. In fact, the only way I can feel uncomfortable is if you two intentionally make it so. But I doubt you’d want that, right?" I fluttered my lashes innocently at them, winning their hearts once again with my ’cuteness’.
Ki-hoon cleared his throat.
"You’re right. We were too shortsighted." He said. "We shouldn’t bother you when you want to sleep."
"That’s right. Whoever you roll towards while you sleep, both of us will accept it."
Though they said that, I doubt they ever imagined a scenario where I wouldn’t roll at all, haha.
"That’s nice. We should all go to sleep and not waste this opportunity given to us." I said and gave both of them a quick kiss on their lips. More like a good night peck. "Good night."
I snuggled in my blanket, closing my eyes as I felt the night had finally ended and the drama had ceased, but... Gulp... It was still far from over.
What should’ve ended with a light peck on their lips grew to be something far more... Deeper, dangerous, and... Sensual. You know what I mean.
I was caught between two hot guys who just couldn’t get enough of me, not just my lips but the flesh on my skin altogether, making it difficult for me to get a good night’s rest.
Should I be glad it ended with just showers of kisses or should I be mad that they did not go further and quench the secret thirst in me?
Either way... I should ban both of them from my bed for the meantime.
It was for the good of my mental health.
"Good morning," Jie-Yu greeted but as soon as she took a good look at me, she nearly gasped as she asked, "What happened to your lips?"
Yup, I woke up to swollen lips and red marks all over my body because I had apparently slept with two large mosquitoes.
"Ignore it," I said, sitting at the dining table. "Some tales are better off forgotten."
