A knock came on the door, interrupting our moment and I pushed Seo-Jun’s face away.

"Get away, I need to go take a bath," I said but then he licked my hand.

I flinched and immediately took my hand back.

"You..."

Seo-Jun winked and said,

"It’s too bad the kid got hurt, but you still have a promise to keep. A reward." As he said that, I remembered I hadn’t given them their reward... The threesome.

But it’s not like I was intentionally holding it back.

"Here," he handed me a bottle of medicine. "It’s nothing too much, just take one pill before you sleep and a pill in the morning, before your meal."

"Oh, thanks," I said, looking at the bottle. "By the way, do you have those supplements?" I asked and I swore I saw him stiffen a bit. "I think I’ll need them."

"Did you finish the previous bottle?" He asked and I nodded, rolling my eyes away as if guilty.

I don’t even remember how I swallowed those supplements, but I did and ended up finishing them.

"Well, do you?"

"Ah, yes." He said, taking out another bottle.

"What’s the supplement for?" Seo-Jun asked.

"Why do you wanna know?" I asked.

"Well, because I’m curious."

"And do you know what happens to the curious cat?" I asked and he turned his head away. Then, he cackled before grinning wildly at me.

"Nothing’s gonna happen to this curious cat." He leaned in, his forehead touching mine and I swallowed.

What was he trying to do now?

"Well, will you tell me what it is?" He asked.

"But you’re the one who requested them."

Why was he arguing with me in a way that made it seem like he was flirting?

"Well, I have four masters and four Alphas," I said. "And I have just one body. One weak, frail body. Does this answer your question?" I looked him straight in the eye and for a moment, he went silent, his head working overtime to find the answer and then he snapped his fingers.

"Ah!" He said and then laughed. "Ahh."

Just saying ’Ah’ won’t cut it.

"So that’s why." He said. "Then I guess it’s very important." He collected the bottle from me. "Why don’t you take one right now?"

He was insinuating that something was going to happen, wasn’t he? I’m not that dumb but I won’t push it away either.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat. "Don’t be in such a rush." I looked towards Hyun-woo. "Thank you for the supplements and the cold medication."

That was me telling him to leave since he already did what he came here for but was still standing around, looking at me.

There was no way the overly sensitive and perceptive Seo-Jun hadn’t begun to suspect Cha Hyun-woo’s intentions towards me.

I’d hate for him to be fired since he was such a talented doctor, though rude and arrogant, so he should take my act of grace and mercy and not push it too much.

"Then, I’ll take my leave." Cha Hyun-woo responded and then headed for the door with one of the maids escorting him out.

Once he was gone, I turned to the maids.

"I think that will be all for tonight. Thank you for your help once again." I said and they bowed their head.

I knew that once they left, Seo-Jun would pounce on me like a hungry lion, but just as the last maid was walking out, Ki-hoon walked in, holding a tray of hot chicken soup and a glass of water.

"Jo-Pil, the chicken soup is ready."

He definitely cooked it by himself, I’m sure of it.
