Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 417: So, I was planning to make a Q and A
As we got into the car, I noticed Min-Cheol’s car had two pairs of seats facing each other.
You know, like those super-expensive jeeps that had two backseats and even had a cover to hide whatever we were doing behind the car from the driver and the guard sitting on the passenger seat.
A perfect car for a little smexy time in the car, ahem, if you know what I’m saying.
But let’s leave that for now.
I sat in front of Min-Cheol and watched his eager expression as he sat humbly before me. Yeah, humble.
He was looking forward to this date so much that his eyes wouldn’t stop glinting like he was the happiest person in the world.
Seriously... Was it because we never really got to spend time alone?
There was an interruption the last time he asked me out on a date.
We had snoopy Alphas trying to sneak in and succeeded, remember?
We even went to the spa from there, and I got that burn on my neck.
But now... It’s finally just us.
And I’m worried.
Though he claims he’s alright and can move however he wants, it’s still a fact that he’s a wounded patient. He has a brace on and should be resting to avoid issues.
Why is he so stubborn?
Though I jumped at the opportunity to go out and eat pastries, I probably should’ve thought this over.
He needs to rest, this one.
No good will come from his condition worsening.
"What’s the matter?" Min-Cheol asked, after noticing me staring for quite some time, and I sighed.
"We’ll go out now but let’s not stay out too late," I said. "And once we get back, you have to promise me that you’ll rest right away, okay?"
Min-Cheol looked at me, no expression on his face for a few seconds but then he beamed with a smile.
It was as if it took him a while to come to terms with my words.
"Alright, Hyung." He said. "And when we come back, you’ll stay by my side, right?"
"Well, of course," I said, guiltily darting my eyes aside. "I’m the one who caused this so I have to atone one way or another."
"B-but... Are you going to take care of me just because you feel guilty?" He asked and to that, I did not respond right away. "It’s not just because you blame yourself for what happened, right? If so then, you don’t need to—"
"That’s part of the reason." I interrupted him and then reached for his hand. "I made you like this, so it’s only fair that I work to make it up to you. And the other reason is..." I interlocked my fingers with his, brought his hand to my lips, and kissed it, smiling happily at him. "... you’re going through a tough time. So even if I wasn’t behind it, I’d want to be by your side to take care of you. Does this answer satisfy you?"
Min-Cheol was stunned for a few seconds but then he got emotional, his face blushing and his heart pounding.
It looked like what I did with his hand got his heart racing.
"I..." He began with shaky words. "I really want to hug you right now, Hyung." He said.
But he couldn’t. Not with the way his movement would feel so awkward in the car and his neck would strain again.
"Let’s save that for later," I said. "For now, don’t move recklessly, okay?"
"Yes, Hyung."
And so, the ride to this famous new pastry shop that Min-Cheol recommended commenced.
We talked a few on the way, laughed, and then engaged in a staring competition.
I mean, it’s been since high school since I engaged in anything that childish, yearss~ But it looked like Min-Cheol was still so close to those times that he brought it up without an issue.
Not saying staring competition has an age set, you know. Anyone can do a staring contest.
"How are you so good at it?" I groaned after Min-Cheol won again for the fifth time.
Did his eyeballs not need to blink? I mean, we stared for so long with me holding my eyelids up so I wouldn’t blink and still yet, ugh, I ended up blinking, unable to resist the dryness.
Min-Cheol wasn’t going to compromise for me. More like, I couldn’t let him compromise just so I could win.
He suggested losing if it would make me feel better, but I knew that was only going to knock up my ego as a man and a competitor, and nothing else.
"Forget it," I said, resting back on the chair. "You’ll still win no matter what I do, so I’ll crown you, the all-time champion of this staring competition."
"Thank you, thank you, you’re too kind." He happily accepted it and I snarled.
He’s that happy because he was the champion. If I were the champion then I would’ve definitely been gushing like he is right now.
"Sir," the driver called out, and we heard it through a small intercom since, apparently, once the covers are dropped to separate us from the front seat, it becomes soundproof.
How amazing, right?
Definitely fitting for a little smexy time.
We could go two rounds in here and no one would even know, aside from how messy we might appear later.
"It seems we’re here, Hyung," Min-Cheol said and I nodded.
"Let’s get ready to come down."
Sometimes, I worry about Min-Cheol.
He never had a proper childhood, nor a school life. He was home-schooled, you see.
And with homeschool, he was taught everything a person would acquire from middle school to university.
And that was why he was able to take on the company so early while being so competent.
The youngest person to make it to this level, you could say.
Anyway, because of that, Min-Cheol probably didn’t have get-togethers at department parties, sit down in a coffee shop to wait for a friend, a person he liked, or just sit there to do projects.
"After we’re done here," I said to him. "Let’s head to a coffee shop and rest for a little bit."
"Why? Are you tired already?" He asked, looking a bit worried but I shook my head.
"No, it’s not that. Coffee shops aren’t meant to be visited when tired, you know. We could just... Hang around. Don’t you want to have a normal date? That’s how normal dates usually go."
Hearing this, his eyes sparkled in excitement. He would nod his head frantically if he could but he just showed it with his face, his eyelashes fluttering on behalf of his nod.
"Yes, let’s do it." He said and I swear I saw steam gushing out of his nostrils.
I laughed. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"Alright then, let’s go in.
(From this humble author. Sorry that I had to add this to the end of this Chapter but I needed to make sure I pass this message on to everyone who reads the Chapter, since not everyone is fond of reading Authors thoughts. Anyway, I was planning to make a Q&A about somethings the readers might be curious about in this novel, like the characters dislikes, likes, favourite moments and stuff like that. And if you also have a question for me as the author, feel free to ask and we’ll address all of them as soon as this season ends. I mean, it’ll end after the heat and there’s still sometime left but let me drop this here so that those who don’t buy privileges will see it by then. Just wanted to let you know you can start dropping your questions and requests early in this Chapter. If you also want to see something in the novel, like a scene you wished for, then let me know. I’ll try to add that to the plot as well. Oh and, in case anyone’s wondering why I haven’t finished the extra Chapters or Jo-Pil and his Alpha school buddies, let’s just say I heeded to the complaint of those who were mad that I cut off the main plot as I liked. But that’s just 30% of the reason. The other reason is... Wait let me calm my blush, ahem... The other reason is because I can’t have the extra story’s Jo-Pil enjoying his heat with the Alphas before the original Jo-Pil, haha. We might already have an inkling as to how Jo-Pil will react in his first time having sex... I don’t though, completely clueless... so I’m preparing it with the ample time I have so it’ll be special and with his first special someone. Let’s not ruin the fun after all this wait. 400plus Chapter without sex is no joke, ngh. Anyways, I’ll get back to the extra after this season ends or maybe at the side story, somehow. I think that’s all for today so I’ll conclude here. please don’t be shy and make your demands as well as ask your questions. this author is ready to fulfill all your demands... Besides rape though... Bye-bye.)
