Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 416: Then, shall we leave?
Instead of silencing the media, why doesn’t Min-Cheol just use it as a way to boost awareness about his cooperation?
Since there’s going to be a lot of gossip anyway, they just need to add that keyword so people know about it and wonder what the cooperation is all about.
Ah, I’m such a genius.
"Alright, let’s go out," I said and Min-Cheol’s eyes glittered.
But then he looked at Seo-Jun, wondering if he would want to butt in as well.
"Oh, don’t mind me. I’d like to go along but I have an assignment to do, you see." He winked at me and walked forward. "I’ll make sure to dedicate the day to helping you find ’that’ Jo-Pil."
"I’ll be grateful if you do," I said and Min-Cheol nodded with his eyelashes, haha.
"We can’t bother a busy man."
"Then, I’ll go take a bath and get dressed," I said to him. Seems like we’ll be having breakfast outside today.
Ki-hoon said he had a meeting. Probably in the meeting right now, but wouldn’t the promotion be crazier if both of them were seen outside?
No, I shouldn’t mess up Min-Cheol’s plan.
He probably wants to spend time alone with me... Along with a bunch of his guards... So we should leave.
I took my bath, felt refreshed after getting all that sweat off, and then got out of the bathroom.
Hm, I wonder. If my Pheromones smell like strawberries and sweat carries Pheromones, shouldn’t my sweat be pink?
Thinking about that, I suddenly burst out laughing.
That’s the most hilarious thing I’ve thought to myself so far. I keep cracking myself up.
The maids helped me get dressed and soon, I walked out.
This time, I wasn’t wearing a waistcoat... I think maybe I should just burn them (-_-) but unfortunately, I have a boyfriend who owns most of the luxurious clothing brands in the country, so I’ll just be ruining the ozone layer for no reason.
Let’s delete that idea.
Anyway, I’m in a brown knitted sweater that has a V-neck. I wore a white shirt inside just in case it gets a little hot later.
Underneath, I’m in brown shorts, socks, and sneakers.
I mean, I don’t even know when I got this in my wardrobe, not like I ever skimmed through it to see the clothes I have but the taste is nice.
The maids even curled the tip of my hair a bit. Since it’s a bit long, once it’s tied at the back, it looks really nice.
"Alright, I’m ready," I sang as I hopped down the stairs.
Cha Hyun-woo was still here and I wondered if he planned to tag along. No, right?
"Are we leaving now?" I asked, my gaze flicking to Cha Hyun-woo and then back to Min-Cheol.
"Hyung, you look so cute in that," Min-Cheol said and I blushed, placing my hands on my cheeks.
"I... I am, aren’t I? The maids sure know how to doll me up." I said and Min-Cheol laughed.
"Then, shall we leave?"
"Wait, hold on," I said, looking at Cha Hyun-woo. "He... He isn’t coming with us, is he?"
"Don’t worry, Hyung. He’ll just be in the car. He’s here for any sort of emergency."
Seems like he was here for ’me’, not Min-Cheol, who really needs medical assistance.
It seems he’s trying to be careful with me but... Would he still think the same way if he knew this guy was caressing my hands and legs while administering first aid yesterday?
I don’t plan to tell anyone but... Has he no shame?
I saw the way he blushed when I came down, even though he tried to hide it.
No one will notice because they have no idea that he’s harboring such feelings towards me, but since I know, it’s very easy to pick up these details.
He’s shameless.
Does he really think I won’t tell anyone if he keeps at it?
I know it’s not his fault that he fell for me, the heart has a mind of its own, but can he try to tone it down and fight it?
He knows how dangerous it is, yet he keeps at it in front of me.
I hope I don’t get stuck alone with him one day. It would be bad if he decided to be bold and try to taste the forbidden fruit.
"Shall we head out now?" Min-Cheol said, but then I snapped, remembering I hadn’t told Jie-Yu about this.
I don’t want her to go with us, but I just need to let her know in case she has plans to leave and wants to see me first.
"I’ll be right back," I said and rushed upstairs.
I went to Jie-Yu’s room and then took a deep breath before knocking on the door.
I waited for a bit and then it clicked open.
"Jo-Pil?" Jie-Yu called as she surfaced from her door. Then, she blinked and looked at me from head to toe. "You’re all dressed up. Are you going out?"
"Yes, so I wanted to let you know," I said, smiling. "Do you want me to grab anything for you outside? I think I’ll be out for a while."
"I don’t particularly need anything but could you get me some chocolate bars?" She asked and I nodded.
"Would chocolate cake do as well?"
"Ah," she clasped her hands together, happy at my suggestion. "Very much. Please get me a chocolate cake as well."
"Then I’ll be off. I’ll get you lots of sweet things."
"Thank you." I hurried back down after hearing her request.
"Did you go to Jie-Yu?" Min-Cheol asked and I nodded.
"Yeah. I figured she might want something added, so I asked, and she did. Turns out, she likes sweets just as much as I do."
"Alright. Is there anything else you need to pick up? Don’t forget and end up running again. Your ankle isn’t fully healed."
He’s one to talk. He’s the one who has to move around with a brace on. I laughed softly and shook my head.
"No, it’s fine now," I said. "Let’s go."
