They also met Nichole and the others that had been in charge of protecting other areas of the base to the best of their ability.

Nichole and the others were responsible for immediately covering up all the holes of the thick vines that Luciel had left for the hospital before.

Nichole and the others also covered other areas with a lot of people that were near the hospital.

Nichole and the others had done a good job in doing it and, just like the areas that Luciel had passed by before, the areas that Nichole and the others had been responsible for also had fewer zombies as more people had been protected already while the zombie birds were still coming.

However, Nichole and Jane were obviously still depressed even though they had already done a good job.
