My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 132: The Syndicate In The South
When Bella left Brad’s wedding reception and was eventually dragged home by Chris, she was shocked to see a baby in a bassinet in the backseat of the car. She didn’t ask Chris anything at the time, and Chris didn’t offer any explanations because he was still furious that Bella had gone to the reception behind his back. Once they got home, Chris carried the baby inside and simply said,
"Take care of her for now."
Chris immediately left again and locked the house, seizing Bella’s keys so she couldn’t get out. Hearing that, Bella—who had been heartbroken because Brad wouldn’t take her back—started thinking hard. She looked at the adorable newborn baby, and with trembling hands, she picked her up, her mind flooded with questions. She began investigating who the baby actually was, checking the call logs and messages on their shared cloud account to find out.
Bella was stunned to find messages between Chris and a man named Jeff, who was part of a hunter syndicate that kept crawlers. Chris was selling babies and young girls to them for significant amounts of money, earning himself a massive income; this was the first time Bella realized where Chris’s wealth actually came from.
In the final part of the chat from about five hours ago, Chris mentioned that one of the girls he had gotten pregnant, who was only 15 years old, had just given birth. He had sold the mother to Jeff first, and when Jeff asked about the baby, Chris said he would collect her from the hospital.
After that, the messages were nothing but price negotiations between Chris and Jeff. Reading this, Bella immediately covered her mouth; she knew right then that the infant she was holding was the baby Chris had just snatched from the hospital. That night, when Chris returned looking cheerful because he said he’d just come into some money, Bella flirted with him and kept pouring wine into his glass until he was half-drunk.
Bella started asking him all sorts of things, and eventually, Chris confessed that the girls he sold to the syndicate would be used as their "toys," while the babies would be turned into food for their pet crawlers. According to them, the crawlers would obey their commands if fed newborn infants.
"Blam!"
Daisy, Rika, and Bella immediately turned to see Dennis, who had punched the bed railing until it bent. Dennis’s face had turned completely red, and he looked absolutely livid. But then he realized that Daisy, Rika, and Bella were all watching him. He took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Sorry... please, go on," Dennis said, his voice trembling.
After a few moments, Bella continued her story. When Chris finally passed out drunk, Bella fled that very night, carrying the baby and the bassinet with her. She struggled all the way to the city center. She had no idea where to take the baby, and as the sun began to rise, the only place she could think of was Dennis’s apartment. However, she knew Dennis would be at school. She waited and waited, but when the baby—who was clearly hungry—started to cry, Bella panicked.
She bought a bottle, but she didn’t have enough money left for the formula. She rushed to Dennis’s apartment, placed the baby in front of his door, tucked a note into the towel, rang the doorbell, and vanished. Afterward, Bella went back to her house as if nothing had happened, even pretending to help Chris search for the missing child.
"So that’s how it was," Daisy murmured.
"Sorry... I couldn’t think of anywhere else safe for that baby," Bella said, looking down.
"Well, it’s fine now... right, honey?" Daisy asked, turning to look at Dennis.
Dennis didn’t answer, but he gave a nod. He still looked incredibly frustrated and angry. Then, he spoke inside his head.
"Sami, can you fill everyone at home in on what Bella just explained?" Dennis asked mentally.
[I’ve been on it, Master. I’m currently showing them a live feed.]
"Good. Everyone, please protect Destiny until we wipe out that syndicate," Dennis said in his head with a firm voice.
"Of course," Daisy replied mentally, looking at Dennis with a smile. Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne all chimed in within Dennis’s head as well.
"Oh, by the way, we’ve already interrogated the two ’guests’ at our place. Their base is to the south. Jeff is their leader, and we already know their location because Donna has been scouting them. So, what’s the move?" Diana said in the group telepathic link.
"How about I just go? I can handle them all by myself," Dulcia suggested.
"Hmmm... I want to go too, hon. They’re keeping tame crawlers there, and that interests me," Deborah added.
"I’m going," Dahlia said shortly, cutting straight to the point.
"Wait a second, don’t be reckless," Daisy warned in their heads.
"No, we’re not being reckless. During the interrogation, those two said something about the girl who gave birth to Destiny. She’s already dead. When they brought her to their base right after delivery, she was still weak, and they immediately raped her... that’s exactly why we want to go... myself included," Donna countered.
"Calm down for a second. Oh, by the way... those two we were interrogating are in hell now. I sent them there myself. So, what’s the move, dear?" Daphne asked calmly.
Dennis seemed to be deep in thought, then he glanced at Bella, Daisy, and Rika. They were all silent; Bella was still crying and in a battered state.
"Honey," Dennis called out in his head.
"So, what’s the move, honey?" Daisy asked, clearly frustrated herself.
"Can you watch over Destiny here and keep an eye on Rika... and Bella? The others and I are going to pay a visit to a certain place and settle everything," Dennis answered.
"Alright, I understand," Daisy replied in his mind, turning to look at Dennis with a smile.
"Donna... you and Dulcia head there first. The rest of you, teleport to me with Destiny, her bottle, and her bassinet. Ten minutes. I’m heading out now," Dennis ordered.
"Ready, my husband, love, sugar, hon, baby, dear," Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne replied.
Dennis nodded to Daisy, who nodded back, and then he walked out of the emergency room cubicle, leaving Bella and Rika looking a bit confused.
"Daisy, where is your man going?" Rika asked.
"Just taking care of some business," Daisy answered with a smile.
"He... he isn’t planning anything reckless, is he? I know he’s strong, but taking on that syndicate alone is impossible... please stop him. I know exactly what kind of person he is," Bella said, panicking because she knew Dennis all too well from when they were kids, even if he used to be the chubby one back then. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Relax, just leave it to him and get some rest," Daisy replied casually, taking Bella’s hand.
Meanwhile, Dennis walked to his car. He climbed inside and sat there, letting out a long sigh. Ten minutes later, "boom," Diana, Daphne, Deborah, and Dahlia—who was cradling Destiny—suddenly appeared inside the car.
"Good, you’re all here," Dennis said.
"Yep, ready for action, my husband," Diana replied from the front seat.
"Now we just wait for Donna and Dulcia to check in," Daphne added.
"Exactly, and after that, we have some fun," Deborah chimed in.
"Dahlia, you should disguise yourself as Daisy and get Destiny to her in the emergency room. Just make sure the nurses don’t see you; babies aren’t allowed in the ER," Dennis told Dahlia, who was sitting behind him holding the infant.
"Got it, love," Dahlia said.
Without a moment’s delay, Dahlia shifted her appearance to look exactly like Daisy and stepped out of the car. Masking her presence entirely, she slipped back into the hospital unnoticed, carrying Destiny with her. After handing the baby over to the real Daisy, Dahlia immediately slipped back out of the emergency room and vanished, reappearing inside the car.
Meanwhile, back in the ER cubicle, Daisy casually cradled Destiny and began to lull her to sleep. Rika and Bella, seeing Daisy’s twin sister arrive to deliver the baby, were completely baffled. They glanced at each other, then turned their eyes back to the Daisy standing right in front of them.
"Um... Daisy, you brought Destiny here? Does that mean Dennis went out just to have your sister bring her to us?" Rika asked, sounding confused.
"Where is Dennis? Oh no, I knew it, he’s going to do something reckless... I have to stop him," Bella said, moving to climb off the bed.
"Where do you think you’re going, Bel? Just relax," Rika said, pulling her back.
"But Rika, that Dennis is a loose cannon... you don’t even know. You don’t know him like I do," Bella argued.
"Hey... can you two just pipe down?" Daisy snapped. Then, she looked down at Destiny in her arms. "Destiny is trying to sleep, aren’t you, mama’s little sweetheart? Just go to sleep; Mama is right here. You’re safe with Mama," Daisy said, gently rocking Destiny while still shooting a glare at Rika and Bella.
Rika and Bella were speechless. They were not only stunned by Daisy snapping at them, but they were also seeing her in a whole new light—she looked exactly like a mother trying to soothe her newborn to sleep. Meanwhile, back in the car:
"Sugar, we’ve arrived," Donna’s voice echoed in all their minds.
"Yep... and they’re shooting at us," Dulcia added.
"Alright, everyone, let’s move," Dennis ordered.
"On it," Diana, Dahlia, Deborah, and Daphne replied.
Then, they instantly vanished from the car, teleporting directly to where Donna and Dulcia were holding the line.
