Seeing Mason Nightshade’s arm stretch out of the hole, Aurelia Shaw immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him up with all her strength.
Mason stumbled unsteadily, taking two steps before collapsing onto her.
The rescue team could tell at a glance they were a couple; the two of them were covered in dust and dirt, but they didn’t recognize who they were.
"What are you all standing around for? Go let the doctor check you over first, call your agent and have her come over, hurry up." Mason straightened his body, took a step back, left her embrace, his steps unsteady.

Grayson glanced her up and down, "He wore himself out protecting you like this. If he wakes up and knows I let you do such heavy work, he’ll kill me. Enough, enough, go rest, do it for my sake, at least."
He really didn’t get what was so good about women, wearing themselves out like this—he swore he’d never fall in love with any woman in this lifetime.
Grayson set Mason down at the rescue station and dialed a number, "Send two helicopters over, and also send a medical team to Q Mountain to aid with the earthquake rescue."
The helicopters arrived quickly.
Grayson carried Mason up to the helicopter, then looked at the woman standing below, his tone cold: "Are you coming or not? Mason risked his life to save you, you could at least come check on his injuries. That’s not too much to ask, is it?"
"I’ll go with you." Aurelia leapt onto the helicopter.
Even if Grayson hadn’t asked, she would have gone anyway.
"Let’s go!" Grayson shut the helicopter door.
As the helicopter was about to land on the rooftop of Q City Hospital, the waiting medical staff immediately surged forward, taking Mason straight to the operating room.
