To Byul (Omegaverse)-Chapter 29: A villain
Chapter 29 - A villain
Yeah, Yun-Tae would probably have thoughts of marriage if he started dating someone. He probably delayed going out with anyone so he could find the right person.
New novel 𝓬hapters are published on ƒreewebɳovel.com.
If he got together with Kang-woo now, for sure he would be wishing for a happily ever after. They would get married, have kids, and grow old together.
The thought of that made Chin-hwa gag, almost like he wanted to throw up. Now, with this, could he still go ahead with his plans to set them up together?
Could he still go ahead and push the guy in his heart to be with another Omega?
It was so confusing.
He wanted to discard his feelings but the more he pushed him away, the more he clutched at his heart.
"As for your question," Chin-Hwa said, "If Kang-woo does not love you deep enough, then just leave it. If Kang-woo likes someone else besides you or he just can't bring himself to love you wholeheartedly then you should move on, Yun. I..." He bit his lip, a little sense of guilt filling him up.
He was saying this out of genuine concern for Yun-Tae and not for other reasons, but because he knew he was still in love with Kang-woo, it felt like he was wishing that that was the case. (That Kang-woo would not have feelings for him and Yun-Tae should move on)
"... I don't want you to get hurt." Chin-hwa said. "So, do not go ahead with a relationship that would end up hurting your heart."
"Ah, I see." Yun-Tae said. "Thank you once more."
They sat there for a while, saying no more words but simply feeling the cold breeze and enjoying each other's silent company.
And then, Kang-woo walked up to them. He was wearing a nose mask.
"You're here," he said, pushing down the nose mask to take in the fresh air outside. "My mom asked if you'd want to come with us. Since you won't be able to see your parents for a couple of days, you can hang out in ours for a while."
"Well," Chin-hwa wanted to give it some thought. He did not want to go over to their house, only to be reminded of the things he was so desperate to stay away from.
Then, he glanced at Yun-Tae. This might be a nice chance to allow them to bond.
"Okay. I'll go pack my things." Chin-hwa said and got up from the chair.
"Do you want me to come help?" Kang-woo asked but Chin-hwa shook his head.
"No, just... Wait here with Yun-Tae. He didn't bring anything so I'll pack a few things for him as well." He said and walked away before anything else.
Chin-hwa walked into the house and maybe he was imagining it but the entire house seemed to be covered in his mother's pheromones.
It was very strong.
'I guess I wouldn't have been able to stay here anyway.' He thought as he opened his room door. 'What did they say about Omegas being exposed to another Omegas heat pheromones for too long? I don't remember but I guess it's not that important if I can't remember it.'
So, he thought.
He went into his room and picked up a few things from his wardrobe.
By the time he got back from his room, he heard laughter from both of them. It made him pause in his tracks and hide but even that action made him feel dumb.
'Why am I hiding?' He asked himself, let out a hard sigh, and walked out. "Alright, I'm done packing." He said, and Yun-Tae got up from the bench.
"Alright, let's go then."
Chin-hwa observed him and thought,
'He seems excited.'
In a lot of things, Chin-hwa often asked himself if he was the villain for having thoughts that no one else would have or for sticking to a side that no one else would stick to.
It was like... His way of thinking was completely different and abstract from everyone else. Sometimes, he may decide to pretend, but when he gets tired of pretending, he simply doesn't care what side to take anymore, and that makes him stray off to a different path.
In the case of his friends, they honestly don't care what path he decides to take since they already took him as a guy who was inclined and different. So, whatever decisions he made, they didn't try to understand him and just supported him and allowed him to follow his own will.
And then, in the case of his love interest...
He wondered if his 'difference' was the reason Kang-woo left in the first place. Maybe he got tired of him. But if that were the case, his family would not cover up for him no matter what.
So, he wanted to be more than understanding. All he wanted was an explanation but no one would give it to him. He started seeming like the unreasonable one, begging for an explanation that wasn't there.
He started seeming like the stubborn one.
So, he was a villain in that regard. He told himself.
And now, that love interest whom he couldn't get an explanation about came back into his life... What would a villain do at a time like that?
In the books, they would generally kill them for hurting them, or torture them. Well, there were a lot of things the villains did, but Chin-hwa wasn't exactly a real villain, and he would never be able to carry out those acts either.
So, instead of that...
'A villain who wants to get rid of his emotions because he is tired of hurting. Either way, I don't want to hold on to these feelings that do me no good, and I will do whatever it takes to get rid of them.'
They got to Lee Ga-ram's home and Chin-hwa stared at it. It hadn't changed at all since the last time he was there.
The last time he was there was over three years ago when he... He shook his head. That wasn't a good memory either.
"Here, I'll carry your bag for you." Kang-woo offered with his hand stretched, and Chin-hwa handed it to him without question.
He watched Kang-woo walk ahead with the bag and wondered,
'If I stop having feelings for him, will I be able to finally see these kind gestures as a normal thing?' he pressed his hand on his chest while lowering his gaze. 'My heart keeps skipping beats when he smiles at me or offers to help. I hate to admit it but I'm in too deep. I have to hurry up and get him together with Yun so that I can finally let go of my feelings.'
