The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 252: WK’s Autographed Photo
"He’s not..." Peter Murray subconsciously started to object, but then he thought of something and clamped his mouth shut.
The Murray and Vance families were close allies. This marriage alliance was the glue holding their relationship together, and it absolutely could not be jeopardized for any reason.
Peter Murray changed his tune. "Kara, you can’t be so arrogant and domineering. If word of this gets out, people will laugh at us. You can’t ruin your own reputation over him. It’s not worth it."
Naomi Kenway grabbed Chloe Murray’s arm.
The warm touch brought Chloe Murray to her senses instantly. She had nearly fallen into the trap of familial affection Peter Murray had so carefully woven.
"There are only a few of us here in the living room. What, Dad? Are you going to go around telling everyone what I did, all for this irrelevant person?"
Peter Murray frowned. "What nonsense are you talking about? How could that be possible?"
"Of course I know it’s not possible," Chloe Murray said. "This Martin Murray is just disgusting. A moment ago, he was staring at Nina with obvious ill intent..."
Peter Murray subconsciously glanced at Martin Murray.
Martin Murray spoke weakly, "I didn’t."
"You didn’t?" Naomi Kenway raised an eyebrow. "Are you implying that we’re framing you on purpose? I have no grudge against you, so why would I deliberately make things difficult for you? Make up a whole drama just because of you? You think way too highly of yourself!"
Martin Murray’s face paled, then flushed. He could only turn his pleading gaze to Peter Murray.
Peter Murray had long heard about Martin Murray’s scandalous affairs. He didn’t think it was a big deal.
’Men will be men. It’s normal to be a womanizer.’
He organized his thoughts and said, "Martin is a bit awkward. Maybe his way of showing he likes someone is just a little off."
"What?" Naomi Kenway retorted. "Is this a small problem in your eyes? Or are you saying..." She deliberately raised her voice. "In your heart, Uncle Murray, do you think I deserve to be disrespected?"
"Of course not." Beads of sweat appeared on Peter Murray’s forehead.
"He made a mistake, so he has to be punished. Since you’re too soft-hearted to do it, Dad, then let me administer the family discipline," Chloe Murray said.
Peter Murray froze.
A trace of terror appeared in Martin Murray’s eyes. He knew he was in for a physical punishment. He grabbed Peter Murray’s arm and said, "You should be the one to do it."
Chloe Murray had already given instructions to the butler. Then she turned to Peter Murray. "Dad, what’s with that look? Don’t I even have the right to discipline a servant? I’m definitely going to vent my anger over this. How dare Martin Murray disrespect my friend like that." She said huffily, "If you’re not willing to help me, fine. My maternal grandfather dotes on me the most. I’m sure he’ll have a way..."
"Wait!" Peter Murray pressed his forehead, a headache coming on. "You’re right. He needs to be taught a lesson. This will also be a way to give Naomi an explanation."
Martin Murray pressed his lips together, his heart filled with despair.
The butler handed over a tough, flexible whip.
Chloe Murray tested its weight. It was substantial. Her eyes hardened, and she brought the whip down without hesitation.
"AH!" Martin Murray shot up like a worm on a hook, a wretched scream tearing from his throat.
Chloe Murray struck him a total of eighteen times, until Martin Murray fainted from the pain.
Evan Murray heard the commotion and came downstairs. When he saw his brother’s miserable, blood-soaked state, he nearly fainted himself.
Chloe Murray didn’t spare them another glance. She took Naomi Kenway’s arm. "The air in here is toxic. Let’s go upstairs."
Then, remembering something, she pulled her hand back. "Look at my memory. I just got some blood on me. I’ll have to go back and take a thorough shower before I can touch you."

Clementine Coleman listlessly accompanied Renee Jennings on a shopping trip. Midway through, Renee excitedly tried on clothes and showed them to her. Her hints were obvious, and Clementine promptly handed over her black card to pay.
’Renee Jennings got me the autographed photo, so I definitely owe her one. Besides, I don’t really have a concept of money. As long as I can get what I want, it’s all good.’
Renee Jennings delightedly had the store send the several gowns directly to her home. Christina Lynch was reasonably generous with her, giving her a monthly allowance of 100,000. Combined with the income from her short videos and appearances, she had three to four hundred thousand a month to spend. However, that was hardly enough if she wanted to buy a few new designer items and bags. Clementine Coleman, with more money than sense, solved many of her pressing financial needs.
Clementine Coleman couldn’t hold back any longer. "When are we going to your place?"
Renee Jennings smiled. "It’s still early. We can shop a little longer."
After picking out a few more pieces of jewelry, a satisfied Renee Jennings took Clementine Coleman home with her.
The moment Clementine Coleman walked through the door, she was beside herself with excitement. "Quick, quick, where’s my treasure?"
"Don’t be anxious," Renee Jennings said with a faint smile. "I’ll go get it for you now."
Clementine Coleman sat on the sofa, looking around impatiently.
A minute later, Renee Jennings came down from upstairs and handed over a signed photo of WK, which included a personalized message.
Clementine Coleman covered her mouth, her face alight with excitement. "It’s really her!" She reached out to caress the photo, trying to sense a trace of her idol’s presence from the black ink.
Renee Jennings sat down next to Clementine. "Clementine, I’m so relieved to see you like it. It wasn’t a waste for me to wait two days and two nights just to get an appointment with her."
"Ah?" Clementine Coleman felt bubbles of gratitude rising in her heart.
The sound of footsteps approached, and a young boy’s voice piped up, "Big sis, why do you like my mom’s autograph so much?"
"Nathan!" Renee Jennings quickly pulled him back to her side, her eyes filled with a warning.
Clementine Coleman chuckled. "You’re mistaken, little guy. This is my idol." 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"I’m not mistaken. My mom wrote this."
Clementine Coleman froze.
Renee Jennings quickly called for the nanny in charge of Nathan Lynch. "Quick, Nathan hasn’t finished his homework yet. Take him upstairs!"
Clementine Coleman looked closely at the autographed photo in her hand. ’It’s definitely WK’s handwriting. So what was that kid just talking about...?’
Renee Jennings’s expression didn’t change; she was as calm as ever. "Sorry for the scene. I often give small gifts back to my fans, things like autographed photos. That kid, Nathan, sees a signature and just assumes I wrote it."
It dawned on Clementine Coleman, and she didn’t think much more of it, continuing to gaze happily at the signed photo.

Naomi Kenway received an invitation to the Warren Family’s birthday banquet. Ethan Shaw was feeling unwell and did not attend with her.
The Warren family’s matriarch was the same age as Susan Hughes. Perhaps due to years of being a vegetarian and chanting Buddhist scriptures, she was thinner but seemed more energetic. A string of prayer beads was wrapped around her old, wrinkled wrist.
Naomi Kenway saw Jane Chandler, whom she hadn’t seen in a long time. She truly looked like someone who had just recovered from a serious illness, supported by Jenna Shaw at her side.
Jane’s gaze shifted and she, too, caught sight of Naomi. Her expression became incredibly complicated, and she wretchedly turned her head away.
When they passed each other, Jane Chandler didn’t stop Naomi to give her a hard time. It was as if she treated her as invisible, simply hurrying past as if fleeing from something. Naomi, for her part, was more than happy not to see her and ignored her just the same.
This was Renee Jennings’s first time attending such a grand event. Christina Lynch had never been interested in such things and was unwilling to let her join the world of fame and fortune. She held herself aloof, saying that an actor should focus on acting, and that only by staying away from the temptation of money could one polish their craft and create good work.
