Chapter 175: Ready to Face Them

The Moonstone Mithril Staff was successfully recovered but Elsa was still unconscious. The healers in Qiryn were healing her nonstop in all the ways they knew but she never seemed to wake up.

"What seems to be the problem, my lady?" Elandir asked the woman with reddish brown hair who monitors Elsa’s condition.

"Her mana seems to be already full and her health is back to normal but her spirit is down. She doesn’t want to wake up anymore. She must be so devastated. After losing her husband and her whole group she also lost the staff and Ciel. It was just too much for her," the lady said.

"Prince Andrius will be here soon. What do you suggest we do?" Elandir asked.

"She cannot go. I want her to stay here and train once she wakes up but when I suspected her condition, I did not want to let her travel out of Qiryn. When Gaia told me the same thing my decision was final. The princess should stay here until the end," the lady asserted.

"Should we tell that to the Princes? Prince Drake is coming too you know. And I’ve heard he’s fond of his niece and he would not agree on leaving her here. Are you certain that even her grandmother won’t be able to wake her up?" Elandir asked more.

The lady crossed her arms and said, "Elandir, are you insulting me? You know that I am more powerful than her even though I cannot leave this place, still, she cannot do more than I can."

The elf raised his hand in surrender and replied, "Geez, I am just confirming, so I can think of the words that I would say to Drake. Talking to the Crown Prince is way much easier than reasoning with their second prince."

"I’ll talk to Drake, that will solve your problem," the lady smirked.

Elandir’s eyes widened in astonishment, "Woah, you would do that? Are you really ready to face them? Especially Drake?"

"Yes, why not? If your father is opening the doors of Qiryn, then I think it’s time for me to face them as well."

"You realize that he will ask since when did you arrive here, and when you give him your answer, that will break his heart for the third time and it’s all because of you."

"Yes, I know that. But this time it will be a happy heartbreak. There is more good news than bad news so let’s celebrate that. If only Elsa would wake up soon then everyone would be happy."

"Alright, keep working on her and I’ll face the princes. Just be ready when I call for you," the lady nodded and Elandir went straight to the port to welcome the incoming ship from Zemaria.

Prince Andrius did not expect his brother to come with him since he was in charge of their troops patrolling the east coast of Zemaria. But when he received the news, it was too late to say no. Prince Drake’s ship was just a day away from them and agreed to meet in the port of Qiryn.

When they arrived, everyone had a serious face especially the mages of Elsa.

"Welcome to Qiryn, Your Highnesses. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay in our kingdom," Elandir greeted everyone as soon as they were off the ship.

"Thank you for your warm hospitality for us, Zemarians. We bring gifts from our kingdom and we hope that you and your king will like it. But we will not prolong our stay here, tomorrow we plan to retrieve the amethyst necklace from the ship and find out how Princess Elsa acquired that and who gave it to her," Prince Andrius explained.

"If that’s the only reason why you are in a hurry. We can certainly help you. We have a few matters that we want to discuss with you and it may take time. So if you allow us to help you retrieve the amethyst necklace then we will make sure that we give you all the information that we have to help you win the war," Elandir offered. He knows that what they have is something that the two princes would not be able to decline.

"Alright, that sounds fair. However, we have important news that must reach the king right away. Will you be able to set up a meeting tonight?" Andrius asked.

"Yes, of course. In fact, no need to wait for tonight. If you want, we can go straight to my father since he is already anticipating your arrival."

When Prince Andrius nodded, Elandir immediately led their group to An’owyn Castle to discuss the news that Andrius wanted to relay.

Instead of receiving his guests in the throne room, King Tyrion prepared a feast in the dining hall even though it was not dinner yet.

"I hope our dishes in Qiryn are to your liking, Prince Andrius, Prince Drake," King Tyrion remarked when everyone settled on their seats.

"We do love it, Your Majesty. It is very generous of you to prepare something so grand even though there was no occasion," Prince Andrius replied after looking at the overwhelming amount of sumptuous food in front of them.

’I just hope they will be so full later that they won’t have the energy to get mad when they find out who are we hiding in here,’ King Tyrion said to himself mentally.

"Zemarian Princes visiting our kingdom is an occasion itself. So please enjoy all the food and drinks and feel free to discuss your concerns," King Tyrion mentioned.

"Father I offered to help them retrieve the amethyst necklace tomorrow. So they can stay longer here and you can discuss the news with the princes," Elandir directed to the king.

’Damnit! This boy! Does he really have to put me in the spotlight right away?!’

"Ah yes. The news. Can we finish eating first before discussing that? I am more concerned about the well-being of Princess Elsa. As you know she is still not waking up. I would suggest that you wait until she wakes up before bringing her back home," King Tyrion said.
