The Royal Mark-Chapter 150: Something Feels Different
It was already late in the evening when Elsa and the rest reached Rügengard Castle. She was surprised to see her grandfather, King Allister, and her grandmother, Mistress Valeria waiting for them at the castle’s main entrance.
Mistress Valeria ran to Elsa as soon as their carriage stopped in front of them. "Are you alright dear? Is everyone alright?" Valeria worriedly asked.
"They poisoned Chris. I was able to stabilize his condition for now but I need to know what kind of poison they gave him so I can find a cure," Elsa told her grandmother and grandfather.
"How will you find that out?" Valeria questioned.
"We’ve captured the werewolf who gave him the poison, others are saying that he would know the mixture of the poison that was given," Arla answered.
"Besides Prince Christopher, who else is hurt?" King Allister asked Arla.
"Everyone else is fine your Highness."
"I wouldn’t say the same for the capture rebel alpha though," Hoven added with a chuckle.
Even though Elsa’s mages do not like what she did to the alpha, demons, and witches, Hoven, Laureen, and Lexi think she’s one badass Luna and they love it.
"What are you saying?" Mistress Valeria asked Hoven.
Elsa rolled her eyes making Hoven laugh before replying to the mistress. "I don’t know how to explain it. You’ve got to see for yourself what the princess did."
King Allister and Mistress Valeria moved closer to the carriage carrying Alpha Erwan to take a peak. Their faces turned sour as soon as they saw how he looked.
"What happened to him?" the king asked.
"The princess burned him then healed him repeatedly, Your Majesty," Arla replied.
"My goodness! Why did you do that?" the mistress asked Elsa but she just shrugged off her shoulders.
Valeria placed her hand on her temple as she sighed. She took a mental note to talk to Elsa later. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
"Why does it feel like someone is missing?" the king questioned.
"Is it my dog that you are looking for, Grandpa?" Elsa asked.
"Yes, the mahogany one. Did she get hurt?"
"She’s in me, I got her back."
The king’s forehead furrowed not understanding what she meant, but Elsa noticed his expression.
"My dogs are part of me, Grandpa. They are the powers that my mother took away to keep me safe when the demons were after us," Elsa casually answered.
King Allister looked around to the people surrounding them and then to her dogs. "So it’s true? Since I can see three more dogs, mean they hold each element?"
"Yes, it is true. Why don’t you believe me or Chris? He had told you before about it, so why are you still doubting me? Maybe this is why my mother left," Elsa’s words stunned everyone, especially King Allister and Mistress Valeria.
No one had ever dared to talk back to the king like that, only Elsa did. To everyone’s surprise, the king did not get angry and just watched his granddaughter walk away.
"Something feels different about her," King Allister whispered to Mistress Valeria.
"You are correct Your Majesty," Laureen butted in. "She’s agitated by something we don’t know. Ever since her body had been engulfed in flames, she was never the same anymore. She was angry and full of wrath. She burned the alpha until the verge of death, she will only stop to heal him before burning him again."
"She also burned the witches leaving their burned bodies for everyone to see and obliterated the demons. She killed everyone, and even though she did not kill the rebels, she threatened them with death if they did not submit to Prince Christopher," Laureen added.
Mistress Valeria covered her mouth as she gasped. She cannot believe her granddaughter could do such an awful act.
"You have to talk to her, Valeria," King Allister said. Mistress Valeria nodded and made her way to find Elsa.
Meanwhile, in Hera’s old room lies Chris, still unconscious. Elsa has requested many things from the servants, turning the room into her personal hospital room.
’Is the mongrel already awake?’ Elsa asked Hoven via their mind link.
’Not yet, Luna. This mongrel is still in dreamland,’ Hoven chuckled at how Elsa addressed Alpha Erwan.
"Rylie, could you stay here for a while with Chris? I just need to discuss something with Hoven... Lexi, listen closely to his heartbeat. If anything changes, tell Rylie and call me immediately," Elsa instructed the girls before she went to the dungeon where they kept Alpha Erwan.
"Your Highness," Hoven greeted.
Elsa looked around searching for something. "There’s no water here?" she asked Hoven.
Confused, Hoven frowned and asked, "Uhm... None, what do you need it for?"
"Either get me a water mage or get a pail of water," Elsa ordered.
Hoven did not question her anymore and told his men to get the princess buckets of water. He pretty much has an idea of where she would use it.
When his men arrived, Elsa immediately took one bucket and threw it straight to Erwan’s face. When one bucket of water didn’t wake him up, she threw another one.
After the fourth bucket, Erwan started coughing. And again Elsa surprised everyone when she started slapping Erwan to wake him up.
"You bitch!" Erwan yelled.
Elsa smiled at him and grabbed his neck unexpectedly. Her eyes started to glow bright and her fingers were turning hot as she tightened her grip on his throat.
"What did you give my husband?" She asked.
Instead of answering, Erwan laughed hard, infuriating Elsa more.
"And you seriously think that I will answer that? The prince could die for all I care! He should have never gone back. He should just stay wherever he went. He will never become King of Arca-"
*Cough*
*Cough*
*Cough*
Elsa strengthened her grip on his throat, and everyone heard his bones crashing.
"Enough!" Hoven shouted as he grabbed her arm to stop her from killing Alpha Erwan.
"We will never find out what they gave the prince if you will kill him," Hoven added.
"You’re right, we should kill his wife instead..."
