The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 128: The bloody sight - II

My loud scream had gotten the attention from the couple enough that they jug into the reality and look at me with wide eyes. I stepped back when I saw the blood on the mouth of a man which only made me think that whatever I saw was the truth.

I did not look away from the sight of the blood which was dripping down from his mouth and covering his entire lips to his neck and then his clothes which were soaking it in. The harsh reality was in front of me and my eyes were believing it now as was the fear that was slowly crawling its way through my spine and heart.

The man finally broke out of whatever he was in and stepped closer to me making me take a step back immediately in fear. "Yo—"

"Oh my!" Anna rushed towards me and I turned to her as I stepped out of the room finally and away from the bloodied man.

"He!" I madly pointed my finger towards the bloodied man who was nearing me. "He! He!" I pointed towards him repeatedly, not being able to say much because of my shock but the blood on his mouth and the woman’s neck portrayed a whole other story which I was sure that Anna would be able to understand.

"The blood Anna!" I yelled again making her see the blood on his mouth as the man looked at her panicked eyes.

"Anna, I —"

Anna gave him a pointed look with heated ise. I did not understand that. What you’re looking at him like a mother would look at her child when she is chiding him?

What?

"I think you’re seeing something wrong." She said in a gentle and soothing voice as if trying to calm me down. "Perhaps you might want to lie down a bit. Maybe it is the tiredness that is getting down to you?"

" What?" I refused to believe it. She was seeing the blood on his face. It was clearly visible as it to include under the light and the dark colour was hardly anything to miss by anyone. " Anna," I turned to look at the man and then back for an hour but then went for a second and then back to where the man was previously standing.

"What?"

My eyes searched the entire room as a look for the men in question. He had just disappeared!

"He-He was right there!" I lost my finger and pointed to the spot that I had previously seen him in. Now the man had suddenly disappeared from the entire room and I could not see him even though I had stepped in to make sure if he was hiding somewhere or not.

Anna followed me in, "I don’t think so that was the case. My lady you must be very tired and I heard that you had lost quite a bit of energy while coming here. Maybe it would be for the best if you sleep it off."

I turned to look at Anna who was my lady in waiting here and stare at her observing her with unyielding eyes. She was no one to me a specially Marilyn who had been there for me forever. Her eyes were stone cold and would decided which meant that there was something being hidden from the full star she was not going to give in to the fact that I had just seen someone who was drinking the blood out of someone else.

"I —Ah!" A sudden blue came to my head and it immediately impacted my side as it darkened. I felt myself falling to the ground and the side of my head being hit again but this time by the floor. The last thing was I saw were Anna’s feet coming closer before I gave up altogether.

With a sudden gasp I woke up and jumped from the bed to look around my room. What happened? Why was I feeling such dear even before waking up?

"What happened last night?"

I jumped at the sudden sound when I was not aware of anyone in the room. Tristan sat there in the corner once again with a respectful distance in between us.

Last night . . . .

"What happened last night?" I asked him instead of answering him. I very much remember what happened but with the anus reaction that I have received I was not ready to tell him anything.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "Genevieve, how about you stop lying to me tell me what happened last night." His serious expression never wavered. " What did you exactly see? Tell me everything."

"There is nothing to tell." I told him I shook my head and answered him back in the same expression as he was talking to me with. I was not joking. I did not trust him after a maid blatantly ignored what I had told her and what she had clearly seen.

He stared at me for a few moments more than I would like and with the eyes that he had now I hated his tere up on me. I breathed a little heavier than usual as his eyes had their effect on me. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Finally it took his eyes off me as it felt like I had done after forever. He looked at the glass kept on the side of my bed and pointed his finger towards it. "You just woke up and looked like you were sweating in your sleep. Perhaps you might want to have some water to go yourself down?"

I’d love that actually. I just realised as I walked closer to the water that I was feeling hot and slight line of sweat was building on me.

There was already fluid inside the glass which is why without thinking I started to drink it and my throat immediately felt calm.

"Does it taste a bit thick? because that’s how blood tastes."

I spat out the water immediately and brought myself a coughing fit.

"So it was blood, was it not?" He whispered right into my ear, "Tsk, tsk, you should know better than to lie to me."
