The Princess's Dangerous Vampire Mate-Chapter 115: Prince Lysar
~The palace of Astria~
"I cannot believe the fact that it was the princess’ maid who was practicing black magic on her." He shook his head, "I refuse to believe the fact that that girl was involved in anything like that. I have seen her maid. She has been the most innocent person I have ever seen instead of this cunning one."
" You seem to know an awful lot about maids’ brothers. Cunning or not." A lazy voice drew out and he gritted his teeth.
"Shut it!" Prince Lysar hissed out. "It is more than they are letting us know. How is it that in one day we were sent a messenger that the kingdom was in an emergency and the capital was in lockdown?"
Hixton shrugged. "What does not have me directly I do not care about that. Why should we care about what happens with the princess or not? You forget brother that she is married and a divorce woman is respected nowhere."
The prince gulped at that. He knew of the repercussions it would bring if he ever asked the princess to force the couple to reverse each other. Even if he took her as a wife after that she would not be respected if he were to be crowned king now that his chances are slim.
He narrowed his eyes on that. Until the prince died. . . But not done also. Because then she would be the queen of the country that would have no air that would mean that it would be either necessary for him to conquer their kingdom and take her as a wife.
"Don’t think about it," he heard the sharp voice of his mother, "do not think about anything like that why you are staying on their roof."
He scoffed, "We would have exited the country by now if you had not insisted on staying here."
She shook her head and sat down with a tired sigh. "You underestimate the distance my boy. We would have not even crossed half of the journey by now. The country is not as small as it seems on the map."
She then looked at Hixton, "What are you doing?" She said as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Me?" He pointed to himself incredulously. " She was the one who was planning on murdering a prince and then taking his widowed wife for himself." He pointed to his brother as a matter of fact who was still lost in his own thoughts and the mother noticed it.
She picked up a small cushion and aimed at the head of her son.
"Hey!" He immediately turned to his brother who was already pointing his fingers at their mother. "Why would you hit me like that?"
She tilted her head slightly as if to question him. "And how can you actually ask that? I promised you that I would talk to princess Genevieve’s father but before that could happen he had already sent his daughter a way to the kingdom and we received the invitation for the wedding. The treaty cannot be broken and there is nothing that we can do about it now. So I suggest you better stop thinking about it." Her voice grew hard and so did their expressions.
"You promised me that I would have her as my wife." He accused her.
She huffed, "yes, I should certainly look after the marriage of my second child when my first one is on death’s bed right?"
" He is better now."
" Thankfully," she muttered under her breath and rolled her eyes, " if it was up to you then he would have never gotten better because you all were busy prioritising yourself."
"Mother," Hixton came closer to her, " we were doing that for ourselves because we knew that you would take the best care of brother."
She turned to look at her younger son and pinched his cheek harshly, making him yelp. "Do not try to act smart in front of me boy. I have seen you since birth and I know you very well."
He winced as he pulled himself away. "I know, I know."
Queen Emalia then stood up and walked closer to her elder son. The second eldest of them all. " Lysar," she placed a hand on his shoulder as she turned him towards her, " I understand that you have feelings towards the girl but there is nothing that can be done under these circumstances—"
" They lost her the very night they had her!" He roared in anger, " the first night that she married into this family they managed to have her kidnapped away. They did not even protect her enough on the first day!"
She sighed and nodded. "I agree but once again that is their problem. We cannot do anything about it."
He tsked and shook his head. " I cannot." Taking his sword in his hand he walked out of the room living behind his mother along with his brother.
How was it that he was still seeing the prince inside the palace and not outside searching for the princess that was his wife. How was not concerned to that very extend?
"Was a fucking husband!" He hissed under his breath.
A well dressed women which is immediately knew was a concubine by the clothes she wore past him is deductive glands and Lysar did not let go of this opportunity.
Within moments she had helped him reach into an abandon bedroom.
"I am delighted to be of use to his Royal highness. Allow me," she said and pointed to his breaches.
Not his first time someone here offer hair cells to him. He did not deny her advances and let her open his breaches and take him into his mouth, but that was soon overturned as he placed his fingers inside her after he had turned them both upside down with her being on the bed now.
"I heard about your princess," he whispered into her ear as she moaned in pleasure.
"Well what can we say? After all, she had the intentions of cheating on His highness. Word has it she is not coming back." She sighed blissfully mother immediately turned to irritation when his fingers were taken out from her.
Opening her eyes she let out a loud gasp when she saw an angry Prince standing above her.
"Tell me everything." He hissed as his eyes blazed in anger.
