The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 216: Meet My Husband.
"Forget it, Cyprian. You don’t want to know the details," Raymond chimed in. Staring straight at Enoch, he continued,"We should leave now. Rian, just stay here with Ruth until we return. I will just make visits to Anderson Corporation and DL Corp, so you don’t have to worry about me getting harmed."
Cyprian nodded slowly, "Alright, you don’t have to worry about us."

Grandma Cooper was silent as she patted Shikera’s back, her hand slowly moving up and down as if to help her relax.
Currently bent over the sink, Shikera was anything but relaxed. She could not even tell that her back was being patted, with the ruckus going on in her belly right now.
"I...water—" she cut herself up as she felt bile rushing up her throat and bent to pour it all out. This was how it had been since last night after the walk with Alan.
She had thought she would have no problems with eating after learning how to cook from watching the YouTube videos and Ethan while he was cooking, but it turned out she was very wrong. Even though she did everything exactly as she could remember and made sure that there was no processed seasoning in the food, she still ended up not being able to stomach it for more than ten minutes before they came rushing up her throat.
It happened last night, early this morning, during lunch, and now...it was happening again. Shikera was beginning to feel weak after not eating something tangible for two days on a roll.
"You want water?" Grandma Cooper asked.
Shikera nodded gently in answer and as the old woman left her side to get the water, she felt all her strength slipping out of her as she fell to the ground. She didn’t pass out but her eyes remained close, blocking out the light from the bulb in the ceiling which was piercing her eyes.
Her stomach was settled now since all the food in there was out, but Shikera knew she could not go on like this. She was already grateful that she didn’t need a hospital yet but then, she could see death staring at her.
"Kera!"
Her eyes opened to see Mignon hovering over her with worry etched all over her face.
"Mignon..." she whispered weakly.
"Uh? It’s Leah, but you can call me anything you want. Are you okay, Kera?" Mignon asked, lifting Shikera up to sit against the wall.
At Mignon’s question, Shikera felt a tear drop on her cheek but she didn’t bother trying to clean it. She wanted to cry.
"Kera...are you okay? Grandma is coming soon, she went to get water."
"I...I am not okay," Shikera sobbed, the tears running down her cheek. "I want him here...I want Ethan—can you get hi—him for me please?"
Not sure of what to do, Mignon pulled Shikera into a tight embrace, caressing her back slowly.
"Who is Ethan? How do I find him?" she asked carefully, not wanting to trigger Shikera more.
"My husband..." Shikera trailed off, her eyes snapping open suddenly. She rose up to her feet and staggered out of the bathroom, with Mignon running after her.
"Where are you going, Kera?! Grandma!" Mignon yelled. She tried to pull Shikera back by her hand but she was shocked when the girl flung her hand away with incredible strength. Having not eaten for two days, she had expected her to be weak.
Grandma Cooper walked out of the kitchen with a glass of water in hand to see Shikera at the doorway, tying her shoelaces.
"Where are you going?" she asked gently.
Shikera sniffed, cleaning her tears with her sleeves as she replied, "To meet my husband. I have to see him before he signs the divorce—"
"Meet your husband?! A scum that got you pregnant and treated you bad enough to make you run away?"
Shikera’s hand paused in what she was doing as she turned her head to look at Grandma Cooper.
"What—what are you saying? Me...preg...no. That can’t be...Ethan—"
The old woman sighed at Shikera’s speechlessness. Or course she had been right, why else would a woman run away from home when she knew she could barely survive outside if it was not because of a useless husband? She could tell from the manner in which Shikera carried herself that she was a sophisticated lady, if not more than the average city girls she always say when she visited the city.
"Now, Kera. Do you still want to find that husband of yours?"
As slowly as she could, Shikera shook her head. She was still shocked and she could barely hear anything apart from Grandma Cooper’s voice, with the only word resounding in her head being, pregnant! Pregnant!
"I am not pregnant," Shikera said firmly, standing up to her feet. She closed the distance between herself and Grandma Cooper, collecting the water from the older woman’s hand to drink.
"You are pregnant, whether you believe me or not, Kera."
Shikera stumbled backwards, falling over on the couch. She didn’t have the strength to stand so she remained on her seat. "How...how do you know that? I didn’t even tell you I have a husband," she stuttered.
"Exactly," Grandma Cooper stated. "I thought you got pregnant mistakenly for a stupid bastard but now I heard you saying you want to meet your husband. Whatever husband you have now is even worse than the scum boyfriend I thought it was before!"
She continued, "You don’t have to believe me even if you can see this head full of grey hair. You can take a test tomorrow instead and then do whatever you want. For now, no one is getting out of this house tonight."
"But..."
"No buts!" Grandma Cooper interrupted Mignon. "Into your room, Leah. I am going to whip something up for you, Kera and you will have to force yourself to eat it. Am I heard?!"
"Yes...Grandma."
