System: Replicating The Heavens-Chapter 488: Ch : PLM (2): Alexโs Dark Side
The moment Alex appeared inside the spaceship, all of them froze. Shock filled their faces, which quickly turned into fear.
But they reacted fast. ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ท๐๐ฟ๐๐ต.๐๐๐
"How did he get inside?!" one of the old men shouted.
"Kill him!" the bald man roared.
In an instant, all five people attacked Alex together.
Blades of light, dark flames, sharp energy waves, and strange spells rushed toward Alex from all sides.
But Alex did not dodge. His eyes were completely red, as if he had lost his senses. There was no reason left in his heart, and no one can restrain his anger now.
Boom!
Dark energy exploded from his body like a storm. The entire ship trembled. The walls cracked, and lights flickered wildly.
The attacks that rushed toward him were swallowed instantly, as if they had never existed.
From Alexโs back, black tentacles suddenly appeared. They were thick, long, and alive, covered in dark patterns. They moved faster than thought.
Before anyone could react, several tentacles shot forward.
The woman with dark makeup screamed.
"Noโ!"
Everyone turned, only to see a thick tentacle wrapping around the womanโs waist. Another tentacle arrived before the woman, tightly wrapped around her neck, then raised her high. A third tentacle came and locked her arms in place.
Her eyes widened in fear, and before she could scream again, the tentacles tightened.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
"Ugh~!"
Her body was shattered into pieces. Blood and broken flesh scattered in the air. Her scream was cut short instantly.
She was dead in an instant.
The remaining four people froze in horror after witnessing such gruesome death. They couldnโt help but want to escape. Unfortunately, they were trapped inside the spaceship, unable to escape even if they wanted to.
"What kind of monster is this?!" one old man shouted in fear.
"Damn! We were warned before, but we didnโt think much of him. We thought he was just another arrogant guy who thinks highly of his own strength. We shouldnโt have provoked him by killing that girl."
The bald man spoke in terror, frightening the other three old men as well.
Alex stepped forward slowly. Every step he took felt like death approaching for the four remaining people inside the spaceship.
The dark energy around him grew thicker and heavier. It pressed down on their souls, making it hard to breathe.
"Damn it. Iโll risk it all."
An old man shouted and tried to escape. He turned and rushed toward the door. But right at that moment, a tentacle pierced through his chest from behind.
His eyes went wide as blood poured from his mouth. The tentacle lifted him into the air and then crushed him. His body burst apart like a broken doll.
Seeing this, another old man was unable to stay still. He roared and formed a powerful seal.
"Die!"
A huge beam of light shot toward Alex.
However, Alex simply raised one hand. Darkness surrounded his hand completely, and the light beam was devoured by that darkness instantly.
Before the old man could react, Alex appeared in front of him. He placed his hand on the old manโs head and muttered coldly, "You can die."
The old man screamed as his body squirmed before deforming bizarrely. Very soon, his body collapsed into dust before dissipating. Not even dust remains of his body.
Now, only an old man and a bald middle-aged man were left alive inside the spaceship. They were frightened out of their minds, so much so that they completely forgot to even try to escape.
Finally, as if the last old man held on to a straw of hope, he immediately fell to his knees. His legs shook so badly that he could not stand. His face was pale, and tears mixed with sweat as he begged in a broken voice.
"Please... please spare me. I didnโt know... I really didnโt know that woman was so important to you..."
While the old man was begging for his life, the bald middle-aged man backed away slowly until his back hit the cold metal wall. His eyes were wide with pure terror. His mouth opened, but no sound came out.
Alex stopped in front of them. His red eyes locked onto the bald man.
"Kneel," Alex said coldly.
The bald manโs body trembled violently. His pride shattered, and with a dull thud, he fell to his knees, bowing his head deeply.
Alex walked closer, each step heavy like thunder in their hearts. Suddenly, another tentacle came out of the darkness around him and pierced into the old manโs forehead.
The old manโs head exploded into pieces in an instant.
Seeing this, the bald middle-aged manโs face turned pale. His body started shaking violently. Sweat poured down his face.
"You... youโre insane..." He pointed at Alex and tried to shout, but the void didnโt come out loud. His voice sounded more like that of a mosquito.
Alex slowly turned to look at him. His red eyes were filled with pure killing intent. A tentacle wrapped around the bald manโs neck, lifting him off the ground.
"Alex... waitโ!"
The tentacle tightened, cutting off his voice.
But Alex did not kill him. Instead, the space around them twisted. In the next moment, both of them disappeared. They reappeared inside Alexโs own spaceship.
Bang!
The bald man was thrown onto the cold metal floor like trash. He coughed violently and gasped for air, fear completely filling his eyes.
Alex stood above him, dark energy still swirling around his body. He looked down at him slowly and then said, "You will answer every question."
He didnโt give the bald man time to think about anything and directly threw a question at him, "Tell me, why did you kill Alicia? Who asked you to kill her?"
The bald middle-aged manโs legs trembled. His face was pale, and cold sweat poured down his forehead. He did not dare to resist at all. He knew very clearly that resisting would only make his death more painful.
He swallowed hard and shouted in a shaking voice, "Iโll talk! Iโll talk! Please... donโt kill me!"
Alex stopped moving. His red eyes, which were filled with endless killing intent, slowly turned toward the bald man.
"Say it," Alex said softly, but his voice was more terrifying than any roar.
The bald man took a deep breath and hurriedly said, "It is not exactly an unknown matter. There is a person who put your name on the assassination list. His name is Karsen Virel."
The moment Alex heard that name, his entire body froze.
Karsen Virel.
A deep hatred surged from Alexโs heart like a burning volcano.
Alex remembered him very clearly.
Long ago, Karsen Virel came from an alien human clan that looked like humans but was far more cruel. That clan used innocent people and weak warriors as materials. They refined living bodies into pills, liquids, and energy crystals to quickly raise their own strength.
When Alex found out, he did not hesitate and directly wiped out that entire family. He killed every single one of them. Moreover, Alex never regretted killing those people even once.
But one person escaped, and that person was Karsen Virel.
At that time, Karsen was extremely weak compared to Alex. Alex did not chase him. In his eyes, such a weak survivor could never pose any threat.
Perhaps, he shouldnโt have let Karsen escape. Had he chased after him and killed him, then today, Alicia would have survived.
The bald middle-aged man was not done yet. He continued to explain in fear, "As far as I know, Karsen Virelโs entire family was wiped out overnight, but he somehow survived and hid himself. Over the years, he grew stronger and filled with hatred. Recently, he came out and killed several of his enemies. I donโt know the enmity between you two, but he used everything he had to put your name on the assassination list of Shadow Hunter Palace."
Alexโs eyes narrowed slightly.
Shadow Hunter Palace.
This was not an ordinary force, but a powerful and terrifying assassination organization known across the universe. It was said that even Immortals had fallen by their hands.
Now, his name was put on the assassination list of Shadow Hunter Palace; it can be seen just how much hatred Karsen has in his heart for Alex.
"Iโm a Bronze member of the Shadow Hunter Palace. When I saw your name and your cultivation, I didnโt hesitate to accept the mission and lead my team to hunt you down. After all, the reward for killing you was simply too generous."
"However, killing you directly was impossible. You already know weโve tried several times to assassinate you, but you always managed to escape. So, we investigated you first. Thatโs when we found out about Alicia. We learned she was the most important person by your side. We thought... if we killed her, you would fall into despair. At that time, killing you would be as easy as crushing an ant."
