There was not much visible change after Alex devoured Atticus, but in reality, his raw strength had almost doubled.

When Alex devoured Atticus, he devoured everything about him. This included Atticus's dao comprehension, special physiques, bloodlines, and all the treasures on his body.

Although Alex's cultivation level itself did not rise, he could clearly feel that he was no longer far from stepping into Sainthood. In other words, he could undergo the Three Stages of Saint Tribulation at any time and advance into the Saint Foundation Stage whenever he wished.

However, Alex wanted to do something else before that.

[Sealed Memories: 6%.]

Alex could feel that he was now able to look into the remaining six percent of his sealed memories. By doing so, he would be able to learn most of the important truths about his past life, if not everything.

Thus, a bizarre scene appeared.

In an ordinary room of a small hotel, a handsome young man sat quietly on his bed, eyes closed. He was unaware of what was happening around him. At some point, white fog slowly appeared and gathered around his body, completely hiding his figure from view.

The white fog grew thicker and thicker, swirling gently like clouds. Suddenly, it surged forward and poured into the young man's body.

It was as if something deep inside him had shattered. His body relaxed, and his consciousness faded. The young man slowly lost control of his balance, fell backward onto the bed, and entered a deep sleep.

╠ Past Life Memories ╣

Inside the endless void of space, a black spaceship flew forward at terrifying speed. Stars turned into long lines of light as they were left behind. Inside the control room, a young man stood silently.

It was Alex.

But this Alex was not the present Alex. This was his past life.

He stood in the center of the control room, holding a beautiful girl tightly in his arms. Her long hair flowed softly over his arm. Her face was pale, and her body was cold. She was completely lifeless.

Yes, she was already dead.

Her name was Alicia De Refrazo. [Ref. Ch: 351 (First Introduction)]

Alex looked down at her face. His lips trembled slightly, the battle between sorrow and restraint clear as his eyes reddened, filled with tears that refused to fall. Despite his struggle to remain composed, a few tears slipped down his cheeks, leaving clear traces.

"I'm sorry…" he whispered softly.

His arms tightened around her, as if he could still protect her. As if holding her tighter would bring her back.

But she did not move.

She never would.

At that moment, a terrifying killing intent erupted from Alex's body. The air inside the control room twisted slightly under the pressure. Even the metal walls creaked faintly.

Behind him, a man stood frozen.

It was Fritz Lambert. [Ref Ch: 288.]

Fritz's face was pale. His hands trembled slightly as he looked at Alex's back. He had never seen Alex like this before. This was not sadness alone. This was pure rage mixed with endless pain.

"Alex…" Fritz said carefully. "Those ships ahead… they are trying to escape."

Alex slowly raised his head.

On the large screen in front of them, several spaceships could be seen flying away at full speed. Their engines burned brightly as they desperately tried to flee.

"Escape," Alex muttered furiously. His eyes burned with hatred.

They were the ones responsible. They were the ones who killed Alicia.

Alex gently placed Alicia's body on a nearby resting platform. He adjusted her position carefully, as if she were only sleeping.

"I'll be right back," he said softly. Then he turned around. His eyes were no longer filled with tears. Instead, they were filled with madness and killing intent.

Alex walked forward and placed his hand on the main control seat.

"Move," he said coldly.

Fritz swallowed hard and immediately stepped aside.

Alex sat down.

The moment his fingers touched the controls, the entire spaceship seemed to come alive. The engines roared loudly, and the speed at which the spaceship was flying increased again.

The distance between Alex's ship and the escaping ships rapidly closed.

Inside the fleeing ships, alarms rang loudly.

<Warning! Warning! Enemy approaching fast!>

"Impossible! How is he catching up?!"

Panic spread inside the fleeing spaceships. Everyone present inside knew they had done something terrible, and they must escape if they wanted to stay alive.

Unfortunately, the one chasing them was like a lion chasing its prey.

Alex's eyes were locked onto the screen. His face was calm, but his heart was roaring like a storm.

"You won't escape," he said quietly, but every word he spoke carried killing intent.

He pressed a button, and instantly, a beam of blinding light shot out from the front of the spaceship, tearing through space itself.

BOOM!

One of the fleeing ships was hit directly, and it exploded instantly. Fire, metal, and burned bodies scattered into the void.

Alex did not even blink. He fired again.

Another ship was struck from the side. Its shield shattered, and the ship broke apart like paper. A second explosion lit up the darkness.

Fritz stood behind Alex, watching in shock. He had fought many battles, but this was different. This was not a fight; this was a hunt, and Alex was the hunter.

The remaining ships tried to scatter, changing direction wildly.

Alex moved his hands smoothly, calmly, like a god controlling death.

Beams of destructive energy were launched one after another. Energy cannons roared again and again, targeting the escaping ships ahead.

Alex's spaceship was not ordinary. Every part of it was carefully designed for war. Its outer body was covered with hidden weapons, powerful cannons, and sharp energy blades meant for close combat. Inside, there were advanced systems for long-distance chasing, allowing the ship to follow enemies across the void without losing them. It could lock onto targets from very far away and strike with deadly accuracy.

The ship also had heavy shields and reinforcement layers, making it hard to destroy even in fierce battles. Whether the enemy tried to run far away or fight at close range, the spaceship was ready for both. It was a true killing machine, built for hunting, destruction, and endless pursuit.

Compared to Alex's ship, the enemy ships looked like toys. They were completely outmatched. Because of this, the enemies had no choice but to run away.

One ship even tried to counterattack, firing wildly toward Alex. But Alex's ship tilted slightly, dodging all attacks effortlessly. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

"BOOM!" "BOOM!" "BOOM!"

One after another, Alex continued to fire destructive energy beams and shot those spaceships ahead, destroying them again and again.

Even if someone managed to escape alive from a destroyed spaceship, they would not be able to physically flee far in the void. Only Saint King Stage warriors or above could survive there. Anyone weaker would quickly die, as the chaotic energy of the void would easily invade their body, corroding their internal organs and even their soul from the inside.

Alex destroyed most of the ships in just a few hours, and now only one ship remains.

It was the largest ship, which flew ahead desperately, pushing its engines to the limit.

Alex narrowed his eyes and suddenly disappeared. When he reappeared, he was already inside the enemy's spaceship.

The inside of the ship shook violently.

There were five people inside the spaceship.

Three old men stood near the control panels. Their faces were wrinkled, but their eyes were sharp. One middle-aged man stood in the center. He was bald, with a cruel and cold expression. But at this moment, anyone could see a clear sign of terror in his eyes. Beside him was a woman with heavy dark makeup. Her lips were black, and strange symbols were drawn near her eyes.
