"You know what..." Alex looked straight into Atticus’s eyes and spoke coldly, "I already know all your secrets. I’ve met the old man who gave you the Primordial Chaos Nine Transformation. I know every flaw in the incomplete technique you gave me... and the trap you hid inside it. Do you really think your so-called innocent explanation can fool me again?"

Atticus was stunned. His eyes trembled, and his face blanched. For a moment, he looked utterly lost, as if someone had yanked the ground from under him. His lips quivered, and his fingers clenched slowly.

But in the next moment, Atticus’s expression twisted sharply. His shock turned into pure killing intent. His eyes became cold, his muscles tightened, and an overwhelming surge of power burst out from his body.

Without warning, he raised his hand and struck toward Alex with the intention to kill. The attack was furious, wild, and filled with the power of a True Divinity. The entire cave shook violently as his palm force exploded outward.

However, Alex was already gone.

Before Atticus’s attack could even touch him, Alex vanished like a shadow dissolving into thin air.

The attack landed on the mountain instead.

A deep, thunderous rumble exploded through the entire region. Rocks shattered. The cave walls broke apart. The entire mountain collapsed in an instant, turning into falling dust and rubble as if the heavens themselves were breaking.

For a moment, Atticus finally felt free.

But that feeling lasted only a heartbeat.

Because right after the mountain collapsed, the world moved.

RUMBLE!!

The earth shook again, but this time in reverse. The broken stones rose back into the air. The dust gathered. The shattered pieces of the mountain pulled themselves together as if a giant, invisible hand were rebuilding them.

In just a few seconds, the entire mountain reformed exactly the same as before.

Once again, Atticus was trapped inside.

His face twisted in helpless anger. It was clear he had tried this kind of attack countless times before. And every time, the world rebuilt the mountain and locked him back inside.

No matter how powerful he was, the will of the world crushed his chance to escape. This mountain was a prison he could never break on his own.

"Alex White, I’ve waited far too long to let you escape. Believe me, I will catch you sooner or later. And when that time comes, I’ll refine your soul and force you to cultivate the Primordial Chaos Nine Tribulation Technique to perfection. Out of all the beings I encountered during my millions of years of imprisonment, you are the only one who managed to cultivate this technique. You are the only path left for my escape. I will never let you go. You are the perfect vessel, and I must possess you. Only then can I leave this cursed place."

Atticus roared in anger. He finally revealed his true intention.

However, it was already too late.

Alex appeared right in front of Atticus. His expression was calm, but his eyes were cold like deep space. He slowly raised his hand and placed it gently on top of Atticus’s head.

Atticus’s entire body stiffened. He was unable to react or escape. He didn’t even feel when Alex appeared before him.

Suddenly, he felt a terrifying pressure descending on his body. For a moment, he saw the illusion of a giant mouth getting closer to him. There was nothing in his view other than this giant mouth, and in front of this mouth, he appeared to be smaller than an ant.

Although he was unable to understand what was happening, he was still a True Divinity after all.

That terrible fear he suddenly felt was definitely a warning. He knew Alex must be doing something that might actually harm him greatly, or perhaps even take his life.

"W–Wait—Alex, listen to me—"

Alex didn’t listen. His fingers pressed slightly, and he uttered a single word: "Devour."

The moment this word left his mouth, Alex’s Devouring God Body awakened fully.

A terrifying devouring force burst out of Alex’s palm. It was invisible, but its presence shook the entire cave. The chaotic runes on the wall flickered wildly, as if reacting to Alex’s power. Even the air seemed to twist and bend around them.

Atticus’s eyes went wide with shock. He could clearly feel the devouring force locking onto him from every direction. His legs trembled, and he tried to step back, but his body refused to move. The pressure Alex released was far beyond anything he had imagined.

"Alex! Stop! You don’t understand—!"

Alex didn’t respond. His eyes remained calm, steady, and emotionless.

The devouring force surged violently.

He tried to resist. He released his martial skills, his bloodline powers, and even tried to activate the mysterious treasures on his body. His aura flared violently for a moment, shaking the cave walls.

But the devouring force only grew stronger, completely swallowing everything he released.

Atticus coughed up blood and fell to his knees. "N-No... this can’t be... You were never supposed to have this much power..."

His voice shook, filled with fear he had never felt in his life.

Alex said nothing. His Devouring God Body continued pulling everything out. Atticus’s cultivation, his physical abilities, his bloodline strength, his soul essence, and even the vitality hidden deep inside him, everything was sucked away like sand being pulled into a black hole.

Atticus’s face grew pale. His body began to dry up, losing its strength and color. His skin shrank, his hair turned dull, and his eyes lost their shine.

In one final pull, Atticus’s remaining energy was torn out completely. His body turned into dust-like particles, breaking apart piece by piece, and even his soul was completely swallowed by Alex.

Everything happened within ten seconds.

In such a short period, Atticus was completely devoured by Alex. There was nothing left.

Alex slowly lowered his hand. His expression didn’t change. He simply turned around quietly and walked away, as if nothing had happened.

However, in reality, his body was going through a terrible change.

His Devouring God Body had devoured not only Atticus’s body, soul, bloodline, and cultivation, but also all the treasures he had on him.

And now, everything was fusing with Alex’s body.
