System: I Can Open Martial Arts Chests-Chapter 99 - 82: Taking Money to Remove Troubles for Others (Part 2)
With one slash, he could take out one or even several with ease.
Combined with the Mingyu Scripture, his Inner Strength was endless and inexhaustible.
The ragtag group in the stronghold, how could they possibly resist?
In just the blink of an eye, blood flowed like a river, and the bandits no longer dared to block Chu Qing’s path, wanting to flee in all directions.
Chu Qing chased them all the way to the Unity Hall.
Seeing someone emerge, he casually slashed them down, then saw it was a hunched man.
The second-in-command’s eyes turned grim, as he shouted:
"How dare you!"
He flipped his hand, sending out a palm strike.
The palm was tinged with green, and his proudest skill was this toxic palm technique.
Whoever was struck would have the poison spread through their body, and within twelve hours, they’d die a gruesome death.
But before the palm could land, his right hand suddenly vanished.
The second-in-command was stunned for a moment, then realized his hand had been sliced off, leaving only spurting blood.
Before he could scream, a flash of cold light enlarged in his pupils.
Squelch!
With one slash, half of the hunched man’s head was chopped off, and Chu Qing kicked the corpse aside, brows furrowed:
"Since Bai Laosan is ranked third, there should be a boss and a second here on this mountain.
"Why haven’t those two come out by now?"
He looked at the severed head in his hand, which he had prepared as a gift for the master of Yinfeng Stronghold.
It was also to make them understand why he had come.
But having fought all the way here, he hadn’t encountered a single key figure...
"What are Yinfeng Stronghold’s secrets?"
With doubt in his heart, he kept moving.
Passing through the Unity Hall, the bandits behind him realized they faced a formidable foe.
Once again, they swarmed up...
When Chu Qing returned to the Unity Hall, his blade was almost useless.
Even if he had deep Inner Power, he couldn’t withstand the sheer number of kills.
The blade was blunted from overuse.
Yet even so, he hadn’t found the big master and second master.
He opened the system interface.
[Quest: Eliminate Yinfeng Stronghold!]
This time the quest was simple, without any tasks like an extermination order. One large Yinfeng Stronghold, so many bandits, condensed into a single mission.
But Chu Qing rarely complained about it.
After all, Yinfeng Stronghold deserved to be wiped out, and even without the system’s task, he would have wanted to eliminate them all.
These beasts didn’t deserve to live in this world.
Footsteps echoed from outside, and Chu Qing looked up to see Qin Yuqi and Gentle.
"Outside is all cleared up."
Qin Yuqi’s tone was lighthearted, clearly in a buoyant mood.
Gentle glanced at Chu Qing:
"Third Brother, what’s wrong?"
"I haven’t found the big master and second master."
Chu Qing shook his head slightly:
"If these two aren’t eliminated, there will be trouble."
Qin Yuqi nodded heavily at his words:
"That’s right, a chivalrous person must eliminate evil; letting it go is committing violence!"
Chu Qing agreed greatly:
"Earlier, when you blocked the gate, they couldn’t leave Yinfeng Stronghold, so they must still be here, and even if we have to dig three feet, we must find them."
Qin Yuqi was about to agree when Gentle suddenly said:
"Third Brother, there’s a scent of blood coming from under that tiger-skin chair."
"Hmm?"
Chu Qing rose immediately, trusting Gentle’s sense of smell.
If she said there was a scent coming from below, the chair was likely a mechanism.
Just about to investigate, a series of clattering sounds of mechanisms operating came from below.
All three of them were slightly taken aback, then they simply spread out to watch and wait.
As soon as the three stepped back, the tiger-skin chair moved off the floor.
A brawny figure emerged from the secret passage.
He had a bold face, a burly build, his face full of rugged features, and at this moment, his brows were furrowed as if he had encountered some difficult problem.
Finally, he sighed and looked up, suddenly freezing.
He saw the bodies at the entrance of Unity Hall.
In two quick strides, he reached them, cradling the second-in-command’s body in shock:
"Second Brother!!
"You, you... who killed you!?"
Upon hearing this, Qin Yuqi and Gentle both looked at Chu Qing.
A hint of confusion flashed in Chu Qing’s eyes. So it turns out that this hunchback is the second-in-command all along?
Didn’t see that coming...
Who would have thought that a second-in-command of a reputable gang would die in just one move?
No wonder this hunchback was so brave, daring to attack me; turns out he was the second-in-command of Yinfeng Stronghold.
The Big Master, after crying over the second-in-command for a while, finally looked up, only to see that outside was filled with corpses.
Blood pooled on the stairs, flowing in crooked rivulets.
His mind buzzed loudly:
"Could it be... could it be that I just went down for a while.
"And the entire Yinfeng Stronghold was exterminated?"
"Not completely exterminated yet."
Chu Qing interjected from behind him.
The Big Master heaved a slight sigh of relief at these words, but suddenly realizing something was wrong, he turned around sharply, only to see a palm already before him.
With no time to think of anything else, he roared angrily, and it seemed a tiger’s roar echoed in the air.
A massive fist blasted out, clashing with Chu Qing’s palm.
BOOM!!!
The surging Inner Breath spread out swiftly, shattering the doors and windows of Unity Hall instantly from the force.
Immediately following, there was a snap, and the arm that Big Master punched with was broken by Chu Qing’s Inner Strength.
Chu Qing twisted his hand, using his palm as a blade, and with a swish, Big Master’s shattered arm was completely severed along the shoulder.
No blood flowed from the incision, but instead, there were glittering ice crystals.
Chu Qing reached out again, and Big Master, crying out in agony, fell into Chu Qing’s five-finger grasp.
His entire head was gripped in one of Chu Qing’s hands.
He screamed out:
"Who the hell are you? Why did you destroy my Yinfeng Stronghold!?"
Chu Qing’s cold voice reached his ears:
"Someone paid to have you all killed. It’s just a job for money."
"Paid... how much did he pay!?"
The Big Master hastily opened his eyes wide, as if finding a glimmer of hope.
Chu Qing merely smiled:
"One wen."
With that said, Chu Qing flung him into Unity Hall, shook his sleeve, and with a bang, a palm force struck directly at his chest, sending the Big Master flying horizontally.
After landing, he rolled for a while, stopping only when he reached the front of the tiger-skin chair.
He suddenly flipped over, his face turning a purplish color, and with a splutter, spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.
He felt that the Inner Power he had cultivated earnestly for many years had completely vanished, with all the meridians in his body seemingly frozen like ice, rendering him completely powerless.
This instant revelation left him feeling utterly hopeless:
"Such...such ruthless hands..."
"Compared to your own means with the common folk, my methods are pale in comparison."
Chu Qing walked slowly to his front, looking down at him from above:
"When you looked at those common people, were your eyes the same as mine right now?"
The Big Master looked up at Chu Qing, only feeling that his gaze was high above, looking at him as if he was an ant.
"You... you actually did this for... for them..."
The Big Master couldn’t believe it, yet had no choice but to.
At this moment, Chu Qing suddenly asked him a question:
"Since last night, apart from us, who else has come to your Yinfeng Stronghold?"
The Big Master’s face suddenly changed:
"Why do you ask that? Who are you looking for?"
"You know who he is for sure."
Chu Qing replied calmly:
"Tell me, what’s his identity?"
"I don’t know."
The Big Master firmly denied it, and after he spoke, as if fearing Chu Qing wouldn’t believe him, he hurriedly added:
"Every time I met him, he never showed his true face.
"He asked me to help him with two things.
"One was to imprison a person, the other one..."
The Big Master mumbled at this point, unable to articulate clearly.
Gentle glanced at Chu Qing:
"That person, is related to the Divine Blade Hall."
Chu Qing didn’t bother with the Big Master’s ambiguity but instead continued to ask:
"Is the imprisoned person still in Yinfeng Stronghold?"
The Big Master nodded, with no intention to hide:
"At the deepest part of this secret path."
"In that case, I must trouble you to lead the way, Big Master."
