Jason huffed nonchalantly, and Hesbeath pouted in annoyance as she saw him looking away from her! Jason knew that Hesbeath was just bluffing! He didn’t know if it was because Hesbeath loved the feeling that it gave her, or if she was just that nice, but Hesbeath would always give him blood when he asked for it! Even though Hesbeath liked to act tough, Hesbeath had never denied Jason before, and that one act of kindness had raised Hesbeath’s standing in Jason’s heart! It was impossible for Jason to hate someone who willingly gave him her blood every day to help him retain his sanity!
"Hey, stop looking at me like that! I am quite serious about this! If I truly wanted to, I could simply leave you to your fate, and there would be nothing you could do about it! So make your choice. Will you do as I say and take blood from my neck next time, or will you prefer to be left to your Blood Thirst?"

Hesbeath hit Jason’s shoulder angrily and told him that she was serious! Hesbeath would definitely not let him drink from her wrist again! But Jason just chuckled as he cleaned the blood on his lips before he leaned back on the tree and closed his eyes with a peaceful sigh while enjoying the breeze blowing past him. It was a good day.
