The chaos beast was quite eager to make a move. It could go on the run after killing the master of this world, seizing the dao universe, and claiming the world for itself. The temptation was too great!

It was so great that the beast was uneasy and apprehensive. It was afraid!

On the other hand, major worlds were biased against outsiders. Newcomers were often turned into fertilizer instead. The exalted emperor cultivation level went by different names in various major worlds; the terms were starting to be standardized in recent years. It was also a hassle when names were too obscure, so general consensus settled on names that were more direct and straightforward.

Chaos beasts found titles such as the Human King or Red Moon master difficult to understand the bearer’s true strength.

Li Hao looked nervously at the fourth bolt gathering in the void; the strain of so much pressure could be heard in his voice. “There’s no way to disperse it, I have to suffer through it! This is because the dao of my Silver Moon is unique. I devoured the heart of great dao and wield a strength so special that the chaos must kill me...”

The chaos beast shook once more. What kind of heart of great dao can compel the chaos to kill you?? The great dao is innumerable and many major worlds have their own dao. It’s not like the chaos wants to kill them, so why does it want to kill you?

The beast could hardly contain itself.

“Senior, I’ll be an exalted emperor if I can survive nine thunderbolts,” Li Hao elaborated. “I’ll have a chance of survival then. However, this disturbance is so great that it’s bound to catch Red Moon’s eye. Therefore, please help and hide us for a bit!”

Hope of becoming an exalted emperor after nine thunderbolts?

The chaos beast’s eyebrows raised; the fourth thunderbolt landed at the same time. Li Hao’s longsword rose into the void with his shout, unleashing the blow of one hundred sword daos. Hundreds of stars formed a river and the sword cut into the thunder and lightning. However, the thunderbolt continued unabated. Half of Li Hao’s body was demolished after a roar!

The fourth thunderbolt was harrowing and approaching the strength of the ninth thunderbolt from Li Hao’s previous tribulation. The chaos beast was also shaken by the power behind the bolt. It was incredible!

And the key was, the human was quite strong in his own right. He’d blocked the bolt!

Li Hao panted heavily after smashing through the fourth thunderbolt. Half of his body was melting. He lifted his head up at the endless void!

A vague existence could be made out through the gloom—it was too big, the size of a star! He couldn’t see its full form, just the pair of eyes that were horrifyingly large. It looked at him; he stared quietly back at it.

The young man rather hoped that the beast would charge him, it would put him more at ease.

With the tribulation growing stronger, the Great Li king and others wouldn’t have a chance to stop a blow for him if the beast decided to wait until later. Although Li Hao had made a lot of preparations, he didn’t know when the tribulation would end!

Not to mention, they should be close to Red Moon major world. He knew that the longer a situation dragged on, the more unexpected developments would crop up.

He didn’t make a sound when the chaos beast looked at him. Whether or not his previous words would prove effective would depend on how greedy the beast was. If it was quite greedy, then it might make a move soon. But if it was a kind and benevolent soul, then that was another story entirely!

A voice rang in his ear—Celestial Pole!

“We’ve encountered a big one!” the man identified solemnly. “This isn’t looking good, this isn’t the weakest possible exalted emperor. It’s pretty strong. Judging from its form and mental strength... it’s probably stronger than those faux exalted emperors. While it’s not as strong as my primary body, you won’t be able to stand against it!”

That wasn’t good news.

When it came to the exalted emperor level, a slight difference in cultivation level meant a very big difference in strength.

Li Hao didn’t react. So... this isn’t one of the weaker exalted emperors? No wonder its presence seems much stronger than Bone Eclipse’s. Although Bone Eclipse depleted much of his strength over the years and wasn’t reinforced by the great dao, he was an exalted emperor in core essence. His might wouldn’t change, but it truly didn’t exert as much pressure as this chaos beast did!

“The fifth thunderbolt is upon us,” Li Hao called out. “Everyone behind me, come to my aid!”

Two long rivers stretched out from behind him; the chaos beast shifted with astonishment. These... seemed to be rivers of great dao. It didn’t have any, but it’d seen them before! Many masters of the world and masters of great dao once coalesced similar rivers of dao!

There really was a dao universe in this world.

Its massive head swung in a certain direction, light gleaming out of its eyes. Someone really was coming this way, it was very close to Red Moon. It might be a Red Moon powerhouse!

There would be no chance for it once the other was here.

“This is not looking good, little friend,” it suddenly said. “Red Moon seems to have sent a powerhouse. We are very close to Red Moon major world. While the New Martial Human King once appeared nearby, no one knows where he is right now...”

It looked at the tribulation clouds as it spoke. The fifth thunderbolt was gathering and it neared the level of an exalted emperor. There was no time to think, the beast decided it needed to make a move.

It abruptly shrank several hundreds of millions of times smaller, making its full form visible. It looked like... a cow? 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

There were horns on top of its head and it exuded densely concentrated chaos presence. The cow shifted when the thunderbolt descended!

It was going to kill this person, extinguish the thunder and lightning, devour the world, and make its escape!

As for the dangers involved, what danger? Who cared about that?
