Sinner System-Chapter 541: Final Dungeon - Seventh Floor (Part 1)
"Well, while it would be cool to have my own unique weapon, it’d just be wasted on me since I can’t fight, and I can’t even cast my Enchantments through the rings of pillars once the fights begin. So, it should be one of these two," Jax responded first, stepping back with a hint of reluctance in his eyes.
"It is super tempting, but objectively, it should go to Petrus, he’s the most experienced and has the best combat skills of the three of us," Added Brid wryly.
"Yeah, I agree. Who knows, it might give him a weapon that’ll help him protect himself and the other two more effectively," Suggested Aria prudently.
"<If I may, Master. The next and final Sentinel, Deino, also possesses a Personalis Arma, so another one will be available if and when he’s defeated>," Chimed in Avaritia.
"Hm, good point. If I remember right, there are ten Personalis Arma total, right?" I recalled, before pausing for a moment.
Wait...between me, Aria, Cleo, Ciel, Jaden, Aarav, we’ve currently claimed six. There’s this one we’re about to give Petrus, that’s seven.
Then, the one held by the last Sentinel, and Vaszel’s Dimension Breaker, that makes nine. Which means, there’s one unaccounted for.
"What’s up? Is something wrong?" Cleo asked me warily.
"Maybe...hey, besides Deino and Vaszel, who else still currently wields a Personalis Arma?" I asked Avaritia and Gula.
"<Huh? I’m afraid I’m not aware of another wielder, Master>," Avaritia shook her head.
"<Neither am I>," Added Gula with a shrug.
"I see. I wonder who-...hm?" I frowned, turning my gaze up to the ceiling as I felt a gaze on me.
I felt it before too, and this time, I’m certain I’m not imagining it.
"You noticed it too? Someone was definitely watching us," Remarked Aria warily.
"<Oh! I believe I may know this. It must be Spektar>," Responded Avaritia.
"Who?"
"<Spektar Penumbra, a rather strange Archdemon, Master. He does not possess a physical body, and he is able to travel through the Final Dungeon without restrictions. Over this last week, he visited each of us regularly out of boredom>."
"<Yes, it was quite annoying. We were restricted within the rings of pillars, so it just felt like he was rubbing it in our faces that he is under no such restrictions>," Huffed Gula, an annoyed look on her face.
"An Archdemon without a physical form? What kind of abilities does he possess?" Chimed in Jaden warily.
"<We have never seen him fight, so we don’t know. However, as he is effectively the Demon Lord’s right hand, I would assume that he must dangerous>," Explained Avaritia in response.
"Well, that’s concerning," Muttered Aria grimly.
"Yeah...I suppose we’ll just have to worry about that once we reach the top floor. I’ll link Petrus to the Personalis Arma, and after we get the info we need about the next Sentinel, we’ll proceed with conquering this floor," I stated, before approaching Petrus.
"Not gonna lie, I feel a bit nervous about this," He remarked sheepishly.
"Don’t worry, you’re in no real danger here. Here I go," I replied with an assuring smile, before placing my right hand on his shoulder and held the rod out to him.
He tentatively reached out, before taking hold of it, starting the process.
<Personalis Arma Recognized>

The rod rapidly transformed as it began glowing, taking the shape of a jet-black staff with a shadowy Mana Orb at the end of it.
Shadowy petals formed around the Mana Orb, before closing shut around it, resembling a flower bud.
The glow faded as the weapon finished forming, before a display popped up:
Name: [ ]
[+20% Boost to All Stats While Equipped]
[+25% Boost to All Spells While Equipped]
[Unlimited Shadow Travel While Equipped]
[Shadow Cast]
<Please Designate a Name for Your New Weapon>
"Alright, time to name it. It boosts you physically by twenty percent, your Magic by twenty-five percent, you can stay in the shadows indefinitely while wielding it, and there’s an ability called Shadow Cast, not sure what it does, though," I informed him.
"W-Woah, that’s a lot to process...uh, think I’ll keep it simple and just call it Shadow Staff," He responded in bemusement, before I let go of his shoulder and stepped back.
He then dropped into the shadows, several seconds passing, before his head suddenly poked out of Brid and Jax’s shadows, which were overlapping.
"I really can stay down here indefinitely! Usually, when I approach my ten second time limit, I get this feeling that’s similar to running out of breath. But I’m not feeling that anymore," He remarked with a gleam in his eyes, before chanting as he fully emerged, "[Shadow Cast]."
The shadowy petals wrapped around the Mana Orb opened up, before detaching from the staff and floating around him as they expanded, before flying up and spreading out, each floating near clusters of Mana Crystals on the ceiling, casting several shadows all around the space.
"Hey, that looks pretty handy," Mused Brid in fascination.
"Yeah...this gives me so many more options," Nodded Petrus in awe, still looking like he was struggling to process it.
The petals then can flying back down, reattaching to the staff and closing around the Mana Orb.
"Alright, with that, you two are up. Tell us everything you know about Deino, the last remaining Sentinel," I remarked, as I glanced at my two newest Apostles.
"<Well, as we mentioned before, he is the strongest of the Sentinels. At the very least, that certainly holds true physically. Like Angus, he doesn’t possess ranged attacks, but the way he fights, it’s rather fierce and merciless>," Spoke up Avaritia.
"<As for his Personalis Arma, I believe he calls them Jurassic Jaws, a pair of large blades with serrated teeth along the edges>," Added Gula with a grimace.
"<Another thing, we do not know the full extent of what he is capable of. When we were all made to spar against each other, none of us were able to force him to go all out, he said so himself. I believe Angus came close, but even he was not quite strong enough>," Avaritia informed us wearily.
