Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 2117: First gift

The next few days just followed the same pattern where I went to inject the divine energy into the whirlpool and then I tried to apply what I learned from that in my practice sessions.

I had been right about this as I kept improving with each day.

The whirlpool was a giant mass of currents that really showed just how divine energy could flow.

I could have spent a long time observing it and I still wouldn’t be able to figure everything out.

But just from the general gist of what I learned, my control over my own divine energy was much greater than before. It had gotten to the point where I was actually able to form proper items with divine energy.

It certainly was a big improvement compared to when I couldn’t even form the general shape.

Still, all good things came to an end.

It wasn’t as if we could stay here forever and I couldn’t keep observing the whirlpool forever. After all, there were still other things that had to be done.

The most important of all was sealing off this place so that the forces of Destruction wouldn’t be able to do anything to the water elementals.

The two sides had completely different emotions about this.

For the water elementals, it was obvious that they weren’t happy about this.

It wasn’t that they wanted to leave this place, it was just that they weren’t happy that someone that they wanted to stay here was leaving.

Though on the other side, that person...or rather that spirit in question was actually overjoyed that we were leaving.

There was a wide smile on Undine’s face as we prepared to leave.

Undine didn’t want to remain here with the ones that kept following it around and calling it princess.

But before leaving, there was something that the water elementals had for Undine.

Or rather, this was something that they had for me.

"This is a gift. I hope that you will take care of our princess."

I was surprised to see the gift that they gave since none of the other elementals had offered something like this. Though the main reason that I was surprised was that I didn’t think that the elementals actually had things that they could offer.

But it turned out that they did indeed have things to offer and this gift was quite the interesting one.

"This sapphire, the amount of mana that’s stored in it..."

One of the younger magicians from the Sorcery Empire couldn’t hold back when he saw this gift.

The gift that the water elemental ancestors were holding out was indeed a sapphire and like the young magician said, this was something that was filled with a large amount of mana. Only that wasn’t the only thing that this sapphire was filled with. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

The mana itself was just the tip of the iceberg.

For the older magicians who were more skilled, they could easily see that this sapphire also had an abundance of water elemental energy. This was a kind of energy that really wasn’t easy to accumulate, but it was also something that also had quite a few uses.

As such, this kind of thing really was considered a treasure.

Though in my eyes, it wasn’t as if we would be able to use this for much since we couldn’t use this against the forces of Destruction.

Pure elemental energy was something that was more useful against the different races of this world. As such, this thing really could be seen as a source of conflict rather than a source of aid.

Still, it would be rude to turn down this gift from the water elementals.

After all, this was a representation of how much they cared about Undine.

"Thank you for this gift. As my partner, I will never do anything to harm Undine."

The water elemental ancestors gave a nod before turning away as if they completely forgot about me. For them, the only thing that they seemed to care about was Undine.

Undine acted like it didn’t see this, but it really was hard to ignore the water elementals when they acted like this. At the same time, it wasn’t as if Undine was completely emotionless about the way that they acted around it.

It was obvious that Undine cared about the water elementals as well and it was only natural that this was the case since there was a deep connection between them.

This was the kind of connection that couldn’t be broken easily, even if the water elementals acted a bit too much most of the time.

After a long moment of silence, Undine said, "Take care of yourselves."

The eyes of the water elementals would have lit up if they had eyes, but instead there were waves that appeared in the water that showed how excited they were. It didn’t actually affect the water bubble that we were in, but the others did have some concerned looks on their faces when they saw this.

It was quite terrifying if one didn’t know how strong the water bubble around us was, so I understood why they felt this way.

"Princess, please come and visit us any time."

Undine didn’t respond to the passionate request of the water elementals.

Instead, Undine just turned around and looked at me as if it was telling me to leave.

I just gave a nod in response since I wasn’t the one that was actually controlling the water bubble.

So with a wave of Undine’s hand, the water bubble started moving up to the surface.

The water elementals followed us for as long as they could, but they stopped once we reached the surface.

This was certainly a unique way of being sent off and it was much more passionate than the way that the other elementals sent us off

After all for once, it wasn’t just about keeping me here so they could get a source of divine energy for the source of their realm.

For once, they were here sending someone off that they would dearly miss.
