Chapter 2116: Sending it away (2)

So what I was doing was forcefully increasing the control area of the origin.

The way that the orb did this was that it created a space around it where divine energy was stable.

The orb was a relic that I had created out of divine energy, something that I had forced to be stable in the mortal realm. So it was only natural that it would be able to stabilize the divine energy that came near it.

But this method didn’t really work for me since I was trying to control the divine energy that I sent away from me.

Thinking about it, I thought about how I had done it for the whirlpool.

"It’s the flow, isn’t it? As long as I follow the flow, it should be stable enough to get far enough from me."

Only this was definitely something that was easier said than done.

It wasn’t as if I could see the flow of the divine energy that easily.

In the end, the breakthrough came while I was holding the orb.

"I can sense it as long as I’m holding this thing...but I’m trying to learn how to use it without the orb." A bitter smile appeared on my face as I said this.

But it wasn’t as if I could do it without the orb right now.

So the only thing that I could do was use the orb as a crutch until I was able to do it without the orb. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

The orb would basically be the guide to help me figure out what to do until I was able to do it on my own.

It really was a bit ironic that I was using the orb to learn how to not depend on the orb, but that was just how it was.

With the orb, it really was easy to see how creation divine energy flowed since it didn’t disappear as soon as it moved away. That was the secret benefit of having this orb to move the divine energy with.

After using the orb to train this visualization for a bit, I was finally ready to do it on my own.

"It kind of looks like a dagger..."

That was all that I could say when I looked at the thing floating there in the air.

It wasn’t as if it was perfect, but at least I had been able to figure out how to send divine energy away from me using the flow. At least I could now use my creation divine energy remotely just like what I could achieve with the orb.

Well it wasn’t exactly the same since I still had problems actually forming the item, but it was a start.

That was the only thing that I could describe it as since it really didn’t look like what I wanted to create at all.

Even with more practice, I found that it really was hard to do something like this.

"This power is the power that belongs to the gods, so it isn’t as if it would be that easy for a human like me to learn. The real issue is that as I learn more and more about this, does that mean that I’m becoming less and less human?"

This was a real moral dilemma since it seemed like the more that I learned how to use this power, the less of a human I became and that really was a problem.

After all, I didn’t want to lose my identity as a human...

But it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could do right now since this power was needed.

While I had no idea when it would be needed, there was no doubt that this power would be useful when facing the forces of Destruction in the future.

So it wasn’t as if I could just ignore this.

"I shouldn’t let them see what I’m doing...especially those people from the Holy Empire. They’ve already built a statue for me and if they see me doing things like this, there’s no guessing what kind of things they’ll do."

That was the other fear that I had.

After all, there really was no discussing this with fanatical worshippers like those people from the Holy Empire. Even if I were to tell them something, it wasn’t as if they would just stop.

The only thing that they would do is find a way to do it with some kind of loophole.

Just like how they set up the statue...

If I had more people worshipping me, then I really wouldn’t know what to do.

I could already feel the sensation coming from the statue.

Even now, I could feel the power that was coming from the statue.

This wasn’t something that I wanted to feel since it meant that I was becoming more and more like a god. But since I didn’t want to become a god and remain a mortal, this really was a problem.

"I’m sure that they’ll use this to convince others if they were to find out, but it isn’t as if I would blame them. If someone had powers like these in my past life, then they certainly would have been worshiped as a god."

Seeing that I wasn’t improving even though I kept practicing, I knew that there was no point in trying to practice more right now. After all, it was clear that I was missing something that made it impossible for me to improve at this moment.

It was just a good thing that I had the whirlpool to learn from.

As long as I had the whirlpool, then I would be able to feel the flow even more than what the orb could teach me.

So for once, I was actually looking forward to injecting my divine energy into a relic like this.

Though the feeling of dread did overweigh it to a certain extent since there were more cons than pros when it came to this matter.
