Shattering Humanity-Chapter 86: "I Promise, I’ll Make You Proud, Ma."

Saku, once again is floating through his "dream space" like he did when he had first received the IceEye.

He opens his eyes, his green right eye and a now purple and pink checkerboard pattern left IceEye. He looks around, unaware of his new eye pattern.

Saku: "What’s going on!? Katsu?! D?!.... Itsuka!?"

A woman’s voice can be heard behind him.

Woman Voice: "Itsuka? Is that the name of the woman you love?"

Saku’s eyes, again swell up seeing his beautiful version of his mother in the dream space, this time with only her left eye with the same pink and purple checkerboard pattern. Her right, the same green color as her son’s.

Saku is struggling to move towards her, flailing but not moving.

Saku: "Why do you look like-"

Saku’s Mom: "That’s a cute name, I hope you make her happy, Saku. My name is Lilith. Right now, as we speak, your mentor and your ’complimentary force’, Katsu, are speaking to my partner, Yahweh. You don’t need to talk and I apologize for deceiving you into thinking I am your mother, Sweetie, but this is the easiest way to convey this message to you so you’d understand the ’blessing’ you are receiving."

As she continues her explanation, the mother and son end up back in the same lab Daisuki and Katsu are awake in, but it’s like they have ’gone back in time’ to see now two Icemen, both with a set of the pink and purple checkerboard eyes, both in their left and right eyes. They are walking around the room, as if preparing for something. Saku is looking in disbelief, tears stuck in his eyes.

Saku: "Blessing?"

Lilleth: "Yes, the eyes you humans have referred to as ’IceEyes’, are actually life forms that were recreated in the image of the ’The Eyes of Wisdom’ or ’Anjell Eyes’."

They watch as the two Icemen seem to be cooperating with each other, circling certain places on the star and galaxy maps. It looks at the other and points as if explaining something without making any noise.

Lilith: "The ’Communication Eye’, the basic ability to communicate without a language barrier."

The other shaking its head and X’s it out, then circling another area. The first one nods while looking at the place the second had circled.

Lilith: "The Absorption Eye, being able to take in the information as it’s presented and the ability to recreate or improve what one’s learned."

They watch as now one is peeking through the telescope, while the other is writing down notes.

Lilith: "Those are the only two Eyes of Wisdom that were left in the possession of Yahweh. You see, we were the only two of our species on our snowy home. From the urge to create ’Intelligent Complex Life’, we forgot how we even came to be or why these Eyes came to be. The life forms you’ve titled ’Icemen’, are all the negativity, expressed and released in the universe, given form and recreated in the image of my near extinct species, ’Anjells’."

Saku now looks in amazement at what has appeared below him. On a planet constantly snowing lightly, sits a meteor, 6 miles wide. On the top, attached, is the tiny metal cube of a science lab, no bigger than a tool shed. The two ’Anjells’ can be seen outside the metal cube, one of them bends to a knee, putting an ’ice container’ on the meteor, it looks up and nods at the other. The other Anjell concentrates on the box and can be seen creating the matter of the meteor over the ’ice container’ until it’s completely covered. The Anjell on a knee looks, smiles, and gives the universal sign of a thumbs up.

Lilith: "However, the one who started this whole mess, is none other than the monster you’ve appropriately titled ’Leviathan’. He’s the one who now has the ’Creation Eye’."

A sudden shriek is heard from the sky and both startled Anjells look up in their snowy sky. The dark clouds of negativity that had combined and found each other, has now formed into a dark cloudy version of the dragon that crash landed on Earth. The Anjells try running back to their metal hut but the first form of the evil entity swoops down like a hawk and snatches one of the Anjells by the front of its head and clamps down taking their right eye and dropping the Anjell.

It lands next to the metal shack of a ship.

Its partner runs towards the injured friend as it slowly gets up, wobbling. They look up as their enemy is now shrieking in pain.

The ice crystal begins forming over the dark cloud-like being, slowly starting at the tail. Saku and his "mother" are watching up close, unseen as the two Anjells look at each other.

The injured one on the ground shakes their head, while the other nods. Without any noises from them, it’s clear what the nodding one is trying to convey. It takes out its left eye, it’s an actual eye unlike the symbiote with tentacles that Levi created. It hands the eye to the Anjell that’s missing theirs. The two Anjells put their foreheads together, and the battle injured Anjell cries while the self injured gives a comforting smile.

With one Anjell inside the small metal shack taking off with the 6 mile long "meteor" and the other waving to them, goodbye.

Lilith: "The final ’Eye of Wisdom’, the ’Eye of Destruction’ no longer exists or will ever exist again. On the official day of Leviathan’s physical birth, it was used to try and destroy him. Unfortunately, the ’Eyes of Wisdom’ can’t be used to harm each other, so it destroyed the dead planet in hopes the timing was right and the large force of explosion would end the creature."

Saku, now standing on the giant 6 mile space rock watches from space as the icy planet blows up.

Lilith: "Unfortunately, my sacrifice was only enough for Yahweh to escape and eventually launch our meteor containing the resources and genetic coding needed to destroy most of the life above sea level and fuse with living marine life. That genetic fusion would eventually evolve into intelligent life we made, together. Our treasure we worked so hard for would have been lost because of that beast. But I would rather be dead than live, having lost what I view as my treasure."

Saku looks at the alien pretending to be his mother then at the lonely alien species standing on top of its "ship", releasing the 6 mile wide space boulder. It starts floating towards a slowly rotating Earth with Saku and Lilith on it.

Lilith: "Leviathan was able to cocoon himself into a protective casing just in time and use his time to create as many replicas of the only other species it knows about."

As the meteor gets sucked into Earth’s gravitational pull, Lilith turns and puts her hands on Saku’s shoulders and Saku is unable to look at the impersonation of his mother in the eye.

Lilith: "There’s only a short amount of time left, Saku. So please listen to me, you don’t need to look at me if you wish."

She bites her lip, trying to hold back tears but from her cracking voice, Saku can’t help but look at the woman NOW with two green eyes like his mother, crying.

Lilith: "But please, do everything in your power, along with your friend, Katsu, to defeat Leviathan and reclaim the Creation Eye of Wisdom. Even if you two choose not to transfer it into one of yourselves, from the pleas of a distressed mother, don’t let that monster destroy my children. Please, Saku..."

Saku, hearing that takes a second and hugs the crying woman/alien. As the meteor begins flaming up in the Earth’s atmosphere he gives the consciousness for the mother of humanity a final goodbye in the blinding whiteness of the burning meteor.

Saku: "I promise, I’ll make you proud, Ma."

Back in the lab, Daisuki with his Iceman eye open now is listening to the human boy with a more serious attitude. The human man being controlled by the Elder Iceman begins to walk towards Katsu slowly.

Katsu is now holding up Saku’s knife shaking,

Daisuki (EI): "I’m sorry my child, I wasted all the time I had left to explain everything, like most proper Yang vessels. I selfishly got caught up in the moment."

Katsu drops the knife after hearing the Iceman say something similar to his apology to Shelly at the shuttles. Daisuki, with his IceEye open, hugs Katsu.

Daisuki(EI): "I guess this is how all life givers must feel in their final moments, knowing there’s so much to tell the life I helped create, but not even close to enough time to tell you.

He holds Katsu’s shoulders.

Daisuki(EI): "If Lilith has successfully gotten Saku to listen to her, he should be able to explain some of what I couldn’t. When you’re all back home."

Katsu: "Wait if I’m-"

Crashing is heard and the room they are in begins to shake and rattle. A shriek is heard and all 3 of the conscious minds know exactly what made the sound. Leviathan is outside ramming and clawing at the now revealed "multi fortified metal home" spacecraft floating in some unknown galaxy.

(Eyes switch)

Daisuki (himself): "Old man, why is that thing here!? Did you set us up!?"

(Eyes switch)

The upgraded IceEye focuses on the empty wall. A fast growing portal is opening.

Daisuki (EI): "I promise you my child, all I knew was his approximate time of arrival. Like I said, I selfishly wasted the little time I had to explain.(looks at Katsu) Katsu, the most important things you need to know is that you two are the human vessels for the ’Anjell Eyes’ and you need to get out of here and get stronger with them. So when the time comes, you can face that monster and defeat him. Lilith and I leave everything to you two. ’Darkness waiting dormant inside the light’ and ’a pinhole of light, representing hope within the darkness surrounding it’."

The portal is now door sized and shaking is felt again from the dragon outside. It’s shrieking is getting louder and less muffled. The two IceEye users lock.

Katsu(in disbelief): "’Darkness dormant inside the light’? I don’t have any darkness or hate in my heart. How can you say Saku is darkness with-"

He stops in realization that Saku IS just that, darkness with a pinhole of struggling light.

And he...

...

...

Katsu: "Wait..."

Katsu’s eyes grow wide and teary as if remembering something. Suddenly, he gets the same feeling that Saku felt upon arriving. "Lightning" throughout his whole body and he passes out in pain.

Daisuki’s eyes switch to the base-kit and he gets incredibly dizzy and weak that he falls to all fours.

Saku’s eyes flicker open, then wide open and he shoots up as he finally hears Leviathan’s shriek.

Saku: "What the FUCK is going on now!?"

Daisuki is grabbing his head and wobbling to the unconscious Katsu while the space vessel they’re in is shaking and the portal is closing. Daisuki, incredibly weak and in pain, is unable to pop off his 2nd stage eye and keep the portal open. He falls next to Katsu and tries to pick up the vulnerable and unconscious student.

Daisuki: "Saku...we need... to get.. out of here."

Saku, realizing the situation, grabs Katsu and runs for the closing portal back to Sanpaku, leaving their mentor behind.

Daisuki: "Thank you....Saku."

Daisuki watches Saku’s body jump through the portal with Katsu’s body. His eyes slowly close but he fights to keep them open he arm out stretched on the metal floor.

Daisuki: "Keep everyone safe boys. Thank you for loving me. I’m coming to see you again, Ma."

Daisuki’s vision fades, just after seeing Saku from the small window sized closing portal, the young man’s ’Anjell Eye’ in 2nd stage with a black aura with a white streak.

Leviathan tears a hole through the metal container, exposing the inside to the vacuum of space.

Darkness.
