Saving The Villainous Monster From The Male Lead-Chapter 114 - 113: Saving The Beauty
The lights in the crowded city had filled Stella’s heart with happiness. She was walking beside her love, holding his warm, strong hand, under the night sky, enjoying a festival of commoners. One she had been dreaming of visiting since childhood with someone of her own. Today, the loneliness she feels every time she comes to this festival is gone.
She was happy, very happy.
"Stella." Hael called her, as they walked through the crowded area. "Hold on tight." his grip tightened as he almost pulled her through the crowd.
The throng of people enjoying the festival had overwhelmed Stella. She had never entered into a crowd as full as this one. For she feared the atrocities of predators hidden in this crowd.
The festival has never been safe for women. Last year, Stella had heard a woman was raped and thrown in a gutter, where she was found the next day. She turned mad and lost all hope an attempted suicide but was saved in time by her lover. Lucky her, her fiancé never left her side and married her a few months ago.
"Sorry." A woman bumped into her as she tried to go in the opposite direction. Her face looked tense, and Stella quickly understood why. A group of men were following her. Another heartbreaking incident was taking place right in front of her.
She increased her grip on Hael, to try and stop him but instead when she stopped moving. The crowd pulled Hael away from Stella.
"Stella!" He called her out.
"Hael!" Stella felt horrified on being separated from him. She dug through the crowd looking for him but couldn’t spot his unique golden hair covered by the hood of his cloak.
Stella turned to the woman, but she had disappeared as well. However, the hounds that were following her were still there. Stella hid her face in the cloak and realised getting out of here was more important.
She fell out of the crowd soon and rushed to a nice minimal crowded corner. As she walked to the stall of candies. She spotted a dancing challenge going on nearby.
Hours ago, she and Hael had been here dancing on the unfamiliar tune, which hadn’t stopped even now. She remembered the sensation she felt when his hand touched her back and his body reduced the distance between them.
Stella could hear his heartbeat pumping faster with every passing minute, synchronizing with the tune that had filled the area with its melody. She couldn’t take her eyes off his pink pupils, holding her captive in them. When she saw her reflection in it, a smile emerged on her face radiating the gentle lights around them.
They danced for a long time, forgetting that they still had other places to visit. The hue of the evening sun distracted them as the sky turned orange, and their feet started to hurt.
"You are beautiful." Was the only thing he had said after the dance indeed, holding her hand tightly and guiding her to that sweet stall.
Stella walked to it and remembered how her sweet had fallen and Hael offered her two more. She was still feeling embarrassed over the fact that she almost cried when the beautiful flower made out of sugar cracked the moment it fell on the ground.
Hael was so confused, unaware of how to treat this situation. He simply ran back and quickly brought two more flowers for her.
"You are like a child." He rubbed his hand over her head.
"I am not a child!" She sulked.
Stella had found herself a spot next to the sweet vender and wished that Hael would find her soon. Hopefully he will come to this place.
As she stood next to that dark alley behind her. Her eyes fell on that woman again. Just then someone grabbed her wrist and pulled her into that ally. She quickly recognised his face. He was one of the men who was following the woman she had just spotted.
"These, Platinum hair." He had pinned her to the damp wall behind. His thumb rubbing on the tails of her hair. "Are they real or are they hair dye?" he asked, grinning.
Stella’s eyes narrowed as she frowned. She pulled her hairs out of his hand and glared at him. "Don’t touch them." She turned to leave but was blocked by the strange man’s strong hand.
"You are not going anywhere, Beautiful." He grins. "Let me have you."
He grabs her face in the pocket of his hands, and he tries to kiss, and Stella fights him. From this close she could smell the stench of alcohol. Stella blocked his mouth from touching her lips, by her palm, which angered him.
"Don’t resist!" He shouts, as he dashes her into the wall behind locks her arms on it by pinning her wrists there. "Let me feel your pretty lips."
"No!" Stella kicks in his balls and his grip on her wrist loosens. He moves a bit back
But soon grains his strength and attacks on her with full force.
His punch was blocked by Hael. He glares at the man and starts showering punches over him. Stella quickly grabbed Hael’s arm to stop him. "He’ll die." She speaks.
Hael got off that man and quickly pulled Stella into a hug. "I was so scared." He stroked her soft hair, his racing heart calming down.
Stella clenched over the fabric of his cloak and buried her face in his chest. "Me too." She was so scared when that man tried to force a kiss over her. Her body had started to shiver, and she feared that the person in the headlines tomorrow would be her.
"Thank you for saving me." She speaks.
"Of course, how could I not come to save you." He tries to calm her down. She was still shivering, probably even crying, for he could hear her hissing sound.
The man wakes up from his short slumber and sees them hugging each other. He felt tipsy and knew that fighting with a man with such strength could only bring him death. Thus, he simply slipped out of the alley, while he could. Without getting noticed by Hael
"I love you." She whispers as tears escape her eyes.
Hael’s eyes widened at first then rested as a smile broke on his face. When Stella’s hand slipped out of his hand, he couldn’t find her anywhere. It felt like the land beneath him had crumbled. Like a madman, he searched for her everywhere but couldn’t find her.
He revisited all the places they had visited until he finally found her. It felt as if he had lost someone important and if that someone is not found he would regret it all his life.
"I think—" He opens his mouth, as his eyes shift to the sky above. "I love you two." He closed his eyes and hugged her tights. "I thought I lost you forever."
Stella looked above at him and smiled. "You love me?" She asks, to confirm that she had heard it right and it wasn’t a dream or a misinterpretation of some other words. For she had wished to hear those three words for a long time.
"I do." He grabs her face in his palms and smiles. "I love you, Stella." He confesses.
Stella cries when she hears that. "Can I kiss you?" She asks.
"What?" Hael was shocked to hear that.
"Can I kiss you, Hael?" She asked again.
"Of course."
Stella tiptoed and pressed her lips against his soft ones. A second later she got down and found him blushing uncontrollably. He grabs her by her waist and pulls her closer to himself. "Do you call that a kiss?" He asks.
"Is it not?" She innocently questions her kissing skills.
"No. It’s not." Hael bends his neck and pulls her into a kiss.
He began by gently sucking her lower lip and then deepened the kiss, turning her breathless. It was so strange and different. The sensations in her body were something she had never felt. She could taste the sweet candy they had eaten earlier before they got lost. Then out of nowhere his tongue slid into her mouth, catching her by surprise. Her eyes flew open and found his eyes still closed. He was drawn into it, as if nothing else mattered at that moment.
Hael felt a unique thirst rising in his throat that could be extinguished only by kissing her. His tongue couldn’t stop venturing every spot inside her, until finally he felt a soft blow on his chest from Stella. She couldn’t breathe anymore.
Immediately he let her go.
Stella gasped as she took in some air and coughed.
"I’m sorry." He says, then strokes her hair behind her ear. "But Stella, you should breathe through your nose when kissing." He smiles, teasing her.
"Shut up!" She slaps on his chest again, but he starts laughing over this and soon Stella also joins in.
She was happy. It felt like everything she ever wished for was falling right in her, which somewhat made her scared. What if this happiness slips out of this same hands somewhere. The thought itself was terrifying.
