Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 472: "No pushing no pushing, "
For days Luo Muchen had restrained himself refusing to face Qie Xieling and finally bring an end to their marriage. He had drafted a clear divorce agreement and it had been sitting in his study for days but he knew he would soon leave for the martial arts competition thus he couldn’t afford to delay any longer.
After breakfast, he strolled over to the courtyard with the agreement in hand. To his surprise, the place seemed deserted and more silent than usual. There was no soft laughter and harsh whispers like before. Luo Muchen suddenly had a bad premonition. He slid the door open and as expected the entire place was empty. Everything was where it was supposed to be except for Qie Xieling’s things. His body trembled in a mixture of anger and frustration. This person really had no respect for him neither did he have respect for anyone. How could he just up and leave without saying a word and how long ago had he left?
Luo Muchen searched the room looking for a letter or something but after turning the room upside down he found nothing.
Clutching the hilt of his sword he stormed out of there and went looking for him in the entire estate.
"Search the entire city for him. Turn the entire city upside down. I want anyone who saw him, talked to him or even glanced at him to be brought to me," he said his voice tyrannical.
Bo Ailun was a little confused. Luo Muchen was planning on divorcing Qie Xieling so what was the point of doing all of this when the man left by himself? If anything it was a good thing because he at least could keep his valuable treasures.
"Young master," he said and Luo Muchen roared,
"Find him!" The men scattered in all directions rushing to find their young master’s wife who had made a run for it.
Luo Muchen was causing a raucous in the mansion and it didn’t take long before Master Lee and his wife rushed out.
"What are you doing? Why are you causing such a ruckus in the entire city? Do you want to put the Lee family to shame," said Madam Lee but Luo Muchen didn’t respond.
Further infuriated she stomped her feet and turned to her husband. "You control your son... take care of it!" she yelled before picking up her skirt and walking back into the house. Her maidservant followed after leaving the father and son standing outside.
Luo Muchen took a step forward as though to leave and Master Lee stopped him. "What are you doing?" he asked and Luo Muchen’s steps paused.
Master Lee had been quite worried about this. If Qie Xieling had this much influence on Luo Muchen then it would become a major problem.
"If he leaves without a divorce wouldn’t that mean that I won’t be able to marry the girl from the Zi family?" he asked and Master Lee heaved a sigh. If Luo Muchen was looking for him for that reason then that was fine.
"I will send people to look for him. You just focus on the competition," he said and Luo Muchen nodded his head slightly before walking away.
***
Where was Qie Xieling? Off spending game currency with Jolie like there was no tomorrow. When two foodies meet it is easy to tell how they would spend their money.
This was the nth restaurant they had been and they had tried all kinds of dishes. They were living it so large you would think they were tycoons.
While digging into a Peking duck Jolie suddenly said, "Oh oh," while looking at her money purse.
"Oh oh, what?" asked Qie Xieling his lips glossy as he chewed on the pancake.
"I think we might be running out of money," she said and Qie Xieling couldn’t believe her.
"You are messing with me, right?" he said but Jolie was serious.
"We bought you clothes, we hired a carriage, we have been sleeping in post inns and you eat too much," said Jolie in an accusatory tone.
"Me? Me? Oh so now it’s all my fault? You were the one splurg-," he said only for the door to open.
Qie Xieling shut his mouth as the manager asked, "Sorry to disturb you. I brought the wine that you requested."
Qie Xieling wanted to tell him to take it back but Jolie received it happily. "Thank you. We will enjoy it," she said before closing the door.
"What are you doing?" he whispered loudly and Jolie opened it before saying,
"We can dress you up like a girl and you can always seduce him. Use your assets to pay for it. Besides we can always ask your dad for more money."
Qie Xieling, "..."
"We are screwed either way. Give it to me," he said and Jolie handed it to him. He poured out some and the two of them drank themselves silly. They started drinking late afternoon and remained in the private room till it was dark. It was then the manager couldn’t stand anymore so he respectfully entered the room and asked his distinguished guests if they wanted anything else.
Jolie in her drunken haze pointed at the manager and stated, "I-is thi-this enough *hiccup we have noooo money."
The manager’s face changed drastically his smiley face all gone and there was a dark cloud looming over him. "We have this much," said Qie Xieling with a giggle while pouring out the silver coins. It was more than half of the bill but it wasn’t enough. That’s when all hell broke loose.
"Hey hey hey no pushing. No pushing," yelled Jolie while Qie Xieling tried to return to the lounge. He wanted to lie on the table and pass out. It was safe to say that they were completely wasted at this point.
"Lock them up in the cellar. We will deal with them tomorrow," commanded the manager and Qie Xieling pulled up his skirt a little showing his thigh.
"Does that do it for you? It’s a nice thigh," he said and Jolie laughed,
"That’s not how you seduce people. Show more skin. Show your boobs or something. Oh, that’s right... you are flat chested hahaha."
Qie Xieling, "???"
The two were immediately pushed down the stairs but before they reached the bottom someone held Qie Xieling’s waist and said, "I will pay for them. How much is it?"
