"Those two are monsters!!" Aurianna gritted her teeth and her pupils trembled. She looked closely at her name at the bottom of the list. Blood seeped from the sides of her mouth and her eyes were dark.

"Indeed, I’m still unable to comprehend how they are able to grow that strong. I wonder if they have a Pearl like ours that can control time," Leila commented, but soon realized Aurianna’s mood.

"You have the ability to grow stronger, so do whatever you must to catch up to me one day," Leila whispered into Aurianna’s ear.

Aurianna turned to look at her with a smile and pounded her hand on her chest, "I would get stronger, much stronger to even catch up with Gilgamesh and Iris," she claimed boldly once again.

"I’d like to meet them someday myself," Leila said, looking up at the dark skies. "Ohh it seems that we walked into a monster’s territory," Leila stated and Aurianna looked ahead and her eyes widened.

[ You have entered the Void Reaver’s territory ]

Aurianna and Leila looked ahead to see the desolate land of the destroyed building, but this one was different. There were gigantic balls of yellow growing on the walls, and the buildings were connected with vines. Aurianna walked closer to one of the balls and poked it. The balls trembled and Aurianna saw a being wriggle inside. Aurianna frowned and jumped back.

"Hmm dear little sister," Leila called out.

"Why am I the little sister?" Aurianna crossed her hands.

Leila giggled, "Because I’m more mature than you in every way."

"Tch."

"Are you ready for a fight?" Leila asked.

"I’m more than ready, I’ve been itching to grow stronger," Aurianna summoned her revolvers in her hands and gripped them. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and she grinned.

"Then I’ll take the right, and you take the left, so we don’t get in each other’s progress," Leila pointed to the sides of the city and Aurianna nodded.

"Fine by me." Aurianna dashed towards the left without a second thought.

After a while of running, Aurianna stopped and walked slowly. She focused her gaze on the surroundings.

Sensing something, she turned around to see nothing there.

"I’m sure I heard something," Aurianna mumbled. However, after a few minutes of looking around, she started to see strange monsters appearing around the buildings. One of the monsters jumped out from the buildings and stood before Aurianna. Its beady black eyes stared at her.

Before Aurianna were humanoid insect monsters. Its entire body was purple, and its hands were like a scythe, and they had a dark purple glow. Its legs looked strong and sturdy as it stood on its claw-like feet. Its body was covered in some form of external armor, and white spikes were protruding from its body. The other humanoid insect monsters’ sizes ranged from six feet to seven feet.

"Bring it on, you ugly bastards!!!" Aurianna yelled and dashed towards the insects without care.

"[ Ace kick ]," she yelled as she tried to kick the one before her, but it immediately disappeared and reappeared behind her and kicked her hard on her back, sending her flying towards a building. The building’s structure crumbled and collapsed on her.

Aurianna got up and summoned her revolvers and dashed to a Void Reaver and shot several bullets at it at a quick rate. The bullets pierced the monster’s skin, but did not do any significant harm to the monster. The wounds on its body healed quickly, and it and the others turned to look at Aurianna.

"Unable to get the power," the Void Reaver Aurianna attacked, spoke in a distorted voice.

"Why not attack and absorb work?" The monster questioned as it raised its scythe-like arms.

"Shit these uglies can talk," Aurianna cursed and summoned a shotgun into her hands.

"Since skills collecting won’t work, we have to eat her!!" The Void Reaver yelled, and the other Void Reavers yelled in unison and jumped from the buildings, dashing towards Aurianna.

"Eat me? Aren’t you bold?" Aurianna said with a smug look and used her shotgun to shoot at their faces. Some of the Void Reaver’s faces were blasted off, and green blood splattered around, but for others, their faces regenerated, causing Aurianna to grind her teeth.

Aurianna leaped into the air and kicked the approaching Void Reaver’s faces. Taking down some of the monsters, Aurianna smiled smugly, however, she smiled too soon and spotted six approaching Void Reavers aiming for different parts of her body at a close distance, and seeing their buff bodies, she determined that they were much stronger than the others. Aurianna immediately stood on her feet, twisted her body to look like a tornado and her feet punctured the monster’s bodies immediately, slicing them to pieces.

Aurianna jumped to her feet, beads of sweat covering her face as she panted heavily.

"Well, I guess I spoke too soon, damn," Aurianna bit her lips and stared at the mob of Void Reavers piling up.

[ Air kick ] Aurianna yelled and made several air kicks that pierced the bodies of the Void Reavers. Aurianna suddenly felt pain in her belly and looked down to see a scythe-like hand piercing through her. Before she could do a kick, her body was slashed in half, and blood splattered out of her body like a fountain before she fell down dead.

[ You’ve been revived ] the system prompted and Aurianna opened her eyes. She got up to see herself on the roof as she surveyed her surroundings.

"They’re everywhere," Aurianna muttered as she looked around to see the Void Reavers around the streets and buildings, some were even flying in the sky. In addition, they were all turning their heads as though they were looking for something. However, she was suddenly interrupted by an air slash that attacked the building she was on and caused it to crumble. Aurianna quickly jumped and spun her body in the air before she landed on her feet with a heavy thud.

"Chi, chi, chi," Aurianna laughed, "I’ve been revived, let this fight continue!" She pointed at the Void Reavers who immediately started to dash at her.

’These monsters would help me train my speed and response to fast attacks. So, I’ll give it everything I’ve got,’ Aurianna that as she did her best to dodge the Void Reavers’ attacks, but she couldn’t avoid them all and sustained some injuries which would heal.

Aurianna would continuously summon all her guns to shoot at the Void Reavers and she clenched her fists as she watched some bulky Void Reavers heal at a fast rate.

"Hah, there’s a lot more than I thought," Aurianna muttered as she looked at the mob of Void Reavers which didn’t seem to die down.

"My healing can’t keep up with their attacks. But hey, I can always revive!" Aurianna yelled and jumped as she made a spin kick and slashed several of the Void Reavers’ body.

Aurianna saw an incoming attack from a Void Reaver so she summoned her hover gun and used it to block the Void Reaver’s multiple slash attack. Because she was so concentrated on the ones before, another Void Reaver landed a kick on her back that pierced through her body.

Aurianna slumped on the ground as she felt her vision become blurry. She closed her eyes and laid down on the ground as the Void Reavers devoured her body.

[ You’ve been revived ]

"I wonder how Leila is coping," Aurianna mumbled as she stabbed a bulky Void Reaver in the head. The monster cried and used its scythe to slash at her, but Aurianna didn’t budge. She summoned her shotgun and blasted its body with several shots before she jumped down, and the Void Reaver fell down with her.

All of a sudden, Aurianna heard a large roar and turned to her right, where Leila had passed. Her pupils shrunk as she stared at the sky, "She’s a dragon!!!" Aurianna gasped in shock. She could recognize Leila because the system displayed the name [ Leila ] as she inspected her.

Leila now appeared as a western dragon with a long neck. Her body was covered with scales that were as white as snow and were filled with shades of red, on her head were six horns that sparkled like crystals.

Her nose is stubby and has two thin, oval nostrils. Several rows of large teeth poke out from the side of its mouth and show a glimpse of the terror hiding inside.

Two enormous wings could be seen on her back, and they flapped vigorously to keep Leila’s body in the air. And at her end was a long tail, and its tip was shaped like a sharp blade.

Leila condensed white flames in her mouth and when she released it, the flames shot out like Aurianna’s magic bullets and caused a massive explosion, wiping out the Void Reavers in her vicinity.

Aurianna noticed that Leila’s flames didn’t reach her side and smirked.

"Well, I’m not gonna lose to her!"

Aurianna summoned various guns around her as they began to shoot at the surrounding monsters. She then summoned five hover guns and blasted the monsters, causing multiple explosions.

Despite all her fighting, the monster’s sheer number caused her to be killed over and over again. Stabbing through the body, being slashed to pieces, having her head ripped off or slashed off, body ripped to shreds. Even though she experienced all that, it didn’t stop the crazy smile, she had on her face, from disappearing.

Aurianna dashed as she slashed the monsters with her sabers and blasted their heads off with the guns attached to her sabers.

Aurianna panted heavily as she looked at the pile of dead Void Reavers and before her were buffer and taller Void Reavers.

"Creeeeree!!" The Void Reavers made a high-pitched screech that made Aurianna’s ears bleed and the surrounding building crumble.

"Protect!!!" The Void Reavers screamed and dashed toward Aurianna and made multiple slash attacks with their hands. Aurianna dodged their attacks and pointed her shotgun at them and shot at the hundreds of Void Reavers around her.

’I need to be faster,’ Aurianna thought as she jumped and made a spin kick in the air, taking out multiple Void Reavers at once.

"Quadruple kick!" Aurianna made four quick kicks, hitting various parts of a tall Void Reaver in less than a few seconds, and the Reaver’s body turned into mush.

Aurianna held the incoming Void Reaver’s scythe-like hands and shattered them with her grip. He then punched it in the face and kicked it in its guts, causing the monster’s body to fly towards other Void Reavers and she summoned multiple guns around her and shot them dead.

After a while felt it getting harder to breathe, she panted heavily as she looked up to see the incoming slash attack and dodged it immediately. She then propelled her feet with her hands and used her leg to stab into the monster’s body before it slumped down dead.

"Last of your bastard batch," Aurianna said and knelt down as she gasped for air. She clenched her chest and lied down on the ground, and she waited for the wounds on her body to slowly heal.

"Are you done watching me, Leila? Aurianna looked upwards to see Leila before her looking down at her with a smile.

"You did an excellent job, dear sister," Leila praised.

"How many times did I die and how many years did I use to fight?"

"Ten years and your deaths were 257 deaths. And you killed over 5,456 Void Reavers," Leila replied calmly, "You did well because they are a tough bunch."

"Probably an easy bunch for you. You turned into a freaking dragon! So awesome."

Hearing Aurianna’s words made Leila’s smile much more warmer. She then looked at the dead Void Reavers and said nervously, "I still had a tough time."

"Hmm, Leila, are you in my world?" Aurianna asked, changing the subject.

"Nope," Leila shook her head and Aurianna sat up. She glanced at the bodies of the dead Void Reavers and turned to look at Leila.

"So we are in different worlds?"

"Exactly."

"I didn’t think other worlds apart from the heroes own exist," Aurianna crossed her arms and squeezed her face deep in thought.

Leila said, "Well I’m a living existence of that fact."

Aurianna looked at Leila’s calm smiling face blankly and grumbled, "I can never understand your mood due to how calm you always are!"

"My master taught me a calm heart, mind, and soul is a powerful being," Leila calmly said.

"Sounds like an old lady to me," Aurianna pouted, "Wait, did you say, master? So, you’re a slave?"

"I wouldn’t advise you to compare me to that bunch," Leila shook her head.

"Ohh then what is your occupation, as you know, I’m a princess," Aurianna bragged, raising her nose high and Leila rolled her eyes in her head.

"I’m a maid," Leila revealed.

"Kekeke so you’re a commoner," Aurianna taunted as she looked at Leila with a cheeky grin.

"Well, I never expected a bratty princess to understand me anyway," Leila shrugged.

"What if I’m a brat? Commoners are lowlifes!"

Leila grabbed Aurianna by the neck and raised her up. Aurianna was stunned by Leila’s actions, but her eyes didn’t waver.

"Take those words back!" Leila gritted her teeth as she glared at Aurianna.

"No, I despise commoners, nobles, even the royals. But those I hate most are commoners. They would blame all their problems on the rich and powerful, expecting us to do every little thing for them and solve all their problems. Yet, every time we help them, they’re ungrateful. Always ungrateful, and always complaining, regardless of what we do to make their lives better, they are always unsatisfied and jealous. Despite doing everything I could, to those bastards, none stood up for me at my worst time. Only the church stood by my side, so I have every right to hate commoners!" Aurianna yelled at Leila, her face red with anger as her nails clenched Leila’s skin.

Hearing her words, Leila threw Aurianna to the ground and muttered, "I’m sorry. I guess we both have different views on life. Shall we get to know each other?"

"Why should we?" Aurianna asked raising an eyebrow as she rubbed her aching neck.

"We might probably need each other, and I’d like to know my sister," Leila said with a smile that creeped Aurianna out.

Aurianna flipped her hair, "And why would I care about a sister I’ve never met for twenty-one years?"

"Because you want to grow stronger," Leila proclaimed with a smirk.

"Tch, fine."

"Then let me officially introduce myself. I’m Leila, the third general of the Demon Queen of flames. The demonic combatant dragon maid!" Leila said as placed her hand on her chest.

"A Demon?" Aurianna mumbled.

"Is there a problem with that?" Leila asked, gripping her palm.

"Nah I think it’s pretty cool," Aurianna gave an enthusiastic smile and a thumbs up to Leila which caused her tensed look to brighten up.

"Well, I’m Aurianna Vanluad stepdaughter of King Girsal, and my title is the cruel, or bloody princess!" Aurianna introduced herself and curtsied.

"I look forward to our time in Eva’s domain prison. We only have five days of the real-world time to stay here," Leila patted Aurianna on the shoulder.

"Five days? How’s that possible," Aurianna asked confused, not understanding what Leila meant.

"You don’t know?" Leila looked at her.

"Like hell, I should? Eva just threw me here on the first day!" Aurianna complained and wiped away non-existent tears.

"I’ll explain on the way."
