Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 65 - 52: Back to Domain prison
____________
"Princess your mother requests that you come to her palace today," Jenna stated looking at a small jade cube in her hand and then at Aurianna.
"Fine," Aurianna replied, a look of annoyance plastered on her face. She looked out the window to see the two suns setting and admired their beauty.
The carriage reached the gates of the palace which was opened for them immediately.
Aurianna’s carriage drove through toward a large mansion that was illuminated by white lights floating around. The mansion has peach-colored walls and many blue-colored window panes.
She got down from her carriage in front of the entrance of the mansion and was greeted by a dozen maids, man servants, butlers, and knights.
"Princess, would you like to bathe?" a maid wearing a much more luxurious uniform than the rest of the other maids asked.
"Yes I would like a bath, head maid" Aurianna replied coldly.
"Then this way princess," the middle-aged head maid stated, escorting Aurianna through the halls of the building.
Once they reached a large white door being guarded by six female Knights, the Head Maid stopped and looked at the maids behind Aurianna, "You ladies should handle the princess gently and make sure she’s cleaned and dressed appropriately," the head maid gave Aurianna a scrutinizing look as her face frowned seeing the blood on her clothes.
"If you don’t stop looking at me you’re gonna lose those eyes of yours, deary," Aurianna glared at the Head maid who trembled before bowing lightly.
"I apologize for my rude behavior, princess."
"Apology accepted," Aurianna stated and the door to the room was opened and she walked in.
After a while, the maids were done bathing Aurianna and dressing her up in a cute yellow and black dress that reached above her knee and a pair of black boots.
______
Aurianna was then escorted to another room but this time it was a round table and only the wives of king Girsal and a few of their daughters were gathered there. Aurianna immediately walked near Queen Amber and a seat was pulled back for her and she sat down on it and it was pushed forward.
"I’m so glad you came to my dinner party!!" Queen Amber rejoiced and hugged Aurianna who looked displeased.
Queen Amber let go of Aurianna sensing how uncomfortable she was and called her hands, "Bring out the hot noodles!" She ordered and the maids and butlers nodded.
A few seconds later they all brought huge bowls and placed them before everyone. And placed deserts in the middle of the table.
Aurianna looked at the large bowl filled with boiled eggs, noodles, meat, vegetables, and some delicious fragrant soup. She picked up her slightly large spoon, dipped it in the soup and drank it.
"It’s delicious and it tastes like jumping mushrooms," Aurianna mumbled and Queen Amber raised her chin filled with pride and she too began eating.
"Aurianna you went too far today! Killing a child and adventures because they stopped your carriage and caused it to fall!" Concubine Momo berated Aurianna angrily interrupting the peaceful eating atmosphere.
"Do my personal matters involve you, Momo?" Aurianna asked glaring at Momo.
"It does since I’m your stepmother, I can’t just sit there and watch a child like you grow so cruel-hearted," Momo spoke back, "And I can’t believe you Amber. Teach your daughter how to be kind-hearted!" she turned to Amber who also had a sour look.
Amber snickered, "Kind-hearted? That’s for the weak Momo, I have no problems with my daughter’s change in attitude. Commoners should know their place when going against the nobility."
"Youu..." Momo pursed her lips and stared at Amber and Aurianna nervously
Nigie and Yogi looked at Aurianna with sparkly eyes.
"How did their corpses look like sister?" Nigie asked, her emerald eyes staring at Aurianna.
"How did they die, sister?" Yogi asked, her red eyes staring at Aurianna.
"Nigie and Yogi, that’s enough of you two," Ezra berated them and they slumped.
"Ezra, you and Amber need to teach your children properly," Cecilia berated, sipping a cup of tea. Queen Amber gave her a side eye and huffed.
’Childish as always,’ Cecilia thought, glancing at Amber.
"And why would I listen to you on how I train my children? I agree with Amber and Aurianna. If a commoner did bring down my carriage because of a mere insignificant child I would kill them later," Ezra said with an evil smile.
Leora looked at everyone nervously and uttered, "But it’s still not right."
Emirie added, "I agree with my daughter."
"And so what?" Amber asked with an indifferent expression and Emirie and Leora looked at her nervously.
Aurianna continued, "If I wasn’t strong enough my personal assistant’s neck would have been slashed off by the carriage food holder and the fall could have broken my skull. So who’s in the wrong here sister? Me or the commoner? I’m sure you’ve heard the entire story of what happened."
Concubine Momo looked at Aurianna and asked, "Don’t you feel a bit guilty?"
"Why the hell should I?" Aurianna replied with an evil smile. "The fight itself was enjoyable! I was thrilled to watch people struggle for their lives and rely on the farce called friendship. In the end, greed was what lured them to their deaths. Guilt that’s unlikely, I felt unbelievable pleasure watching those ants who dared to offend me suffer," Aurianna blurted out with a crazy look and everyone watched her silently.
"Hahahahah, Aurianna dear you did a good job," Queen Amber laughed nervously and congratulated Aurianna.
"Thanks, mother," Aurianna smiled.
"I’m not done!" Concubine Momo slapped her hand on the table. "High Humans don’t fall from the sky, they are rare as it is, yet you killing adventurers who were High Humans may discourage others from coming here!"
"But we got a ton of guards who are High Humans," Aurianna chuckled before gulping down some soup.
"You just don’t get it," Yesphine said dully, "If all the guards are High Humans the people would start to feel unsafe because only the people in power are High Humans. However, if adventurers and civilians to are High Humans this changes things up a bit."
"Yes our nation’s prosperity would skyrocket because High Humans are generally stronger and rare," Lauren nodded as she chewed some cake.
"How rare are High Humans?" Aurianna asked Lauren.
"Like five hundred out of a thousand people can become High Humans," Lauren answered as her hair turned into a thousand tiny people and five hundred of them glowed. "A hundred out of a thousand can become Chaos/ Holy Humans, and twenty out of a thousand can become Arc Humans," Lauren added and her hair turned back to normal.
’Yet all King Girsal’s wives are Chaos and Holy Humans,’ Aurianna thought with a grin.
"One out of a million can become a Grand Human, four out of a billion can become a Primordial Human," Iona added and everyone took in a deep breath.
’The peak of Human Evolution and my goal,’ Aurianna thought and her eyes had a light glow.
"Phos, phos, Don’t you all think it’s strange that Aurianna defeated High Humans when she’s just 9 years old?" Ezra asked, staring at Aurianna suspiciously.
"Doesn’t it mean she’s already a High Human," Yesphine leaned on her hands as she stared at Aurianna with her dark blue eyes.
"How is that possible?" Momo gasped and stared at Aurianna nervously.
Amber looked at Aurianna and nervously mumbled, "I know my father and big brother were geniuses but they became High Humans around age seventeen. This is just abnormal."
"Are you telling me none of you realized this?" Lauren asked with a smirk. "Hey brat, you’re good at hiding your power, but you shouldn’t hide it you know. We’re family after all."
"I understand aunt Lauren," Aurianna replied as she stuffed some meat in her mouth.
"Do you know how serious this is? At least show a worried expression!" Lauren yelled.
Aurianna thought, ’What is the use? It is inevitable that you’ll soon discover how much stronger I’ve become.’
"However, your growth is too fast. The only people who can level up so fast are Reincarnators, Heroes, Blessed, Saintesses, and Other Worlders," Iona uttered and everyone nodded.
Amber jumped a bit hearing the Other Worlders. Her face was filled with sweat and she slammed her hand on the table, "My daughter is none of those things. And Blade has already confirmed all this!"
Lauren looked at Aurianna, "It’s hard to believe though, but I’ve heard people who are going to be chosen by the gods are granted a boost in power. And lately, I could feel a bit of Aura from the god of war Jagon around Aurianna."
"How would you know this?" Amber questioned.
"I worship the god of war duh," Lauren rolled her eyes.
"I’m done eating so I’ll take my leave," Aurianna got up from her seat and bowed before leaving.
Once the doors closed behind her Momo muttered, "I’m actually kinda glad that Girsal placed the insignia on her." The other concubines nodded in agreement.
"I’m leaving too, but everyone must keep a close eye on her. And Amber I don’t care if Blade has confirmed, I’m still suspicious of her," Cecilia stated and everyone nodded but Amber gritted her teeth.
"Welcome princess," six female knights in silver armor greeted Aurianna with a deep bow and opened the door to the room.
"Would you like some maids to attend to you?" One of them asked and Aurianna shook her head.
"I’ll be fine just guard my door," Aurianna stated and walked in.
"Understood princess," they saluted before closing her door.
"Eva, how many people are watching me," Aurianna mumbled as she walked through the living room to the bedroom.
"Seventeen and I’ve set the barrier so they’ll be given an illusion of you reading," Eva replied, popping up before her.
The smile on Aurianna’s face turned to a frown as she grabbed a vase and threw it on the ground, "Fuck!! I lost an arm to beat a mere fucking commoner. I thought I’ve become stronger, yet I was beaten once again! Why does it always happen like this? I want more strength. I’m still too weak. Without all my skills that man would have been able to kill me. I need more strength....," Aurianna grumbled as she clenched her bed sheets.
She looked up at Eva and called out, "Eva."
"Yes Aurianna," Eva replied calmly.
"I want to go back to the training ground," Aurianna said with determined yet scary eyes.
"Are you sure?" Eva asked with a slight smirk.
"Why ask that when you were always pressuring me to go?" Aurianna questioned a bit confused.
"Nothing actually," Eva shrugged and giggled.
"Oh, to be honest, I don’t like this secretive behavior of yours. Isn’t it about time you told me who that lady is and why my Diamond Synchronization is only 50%?" Aurianna asked.
"She was the White Diamond of Peace and Light," Eva answered straight forward.
"I guess my suspicions were right," Aurianna nodded, placing her hand on her chin.
"Why didn’t you want to tell me though?" She crossed her arms.
"I was afraid you knowing more about her would trigger her to take over your body again," Eva stated.
"So is she alive?" Aurianna asked, her gaze becoming cold.
"I’m sure she’s dead but her soul fragments are stronger than I thought," Eva frowned.
’She could even restrict my movement despite being in Aurianna’s weak body. What’s more with my stats, not even some gods can restrict my movements,’ Eva thought and grinned, ’This is gonna be fun.’
"I’ll try and see if I can find a way to get rid of her soul fragments," Eva stated and Aurianna sighed in relief.
"That’s good she can try to take over my body again. Now, I’m ready to go back to the training lands Eva."
"Well I wish you luck," Eva snapped her fingers and Aurianna disappeared.
"Before I remove the barrier I must place a fake version of her there," Eva mumbled and a blurry figure transformed into a clear figure formed on Aurianna’s bed reading a book. Eva nodded at her work and disappeared.
______
Aurianna opened her eyes to see herself in a bright desolate orange land. The land was filled with sand and tall ancient buildings that were in shambles.
[ You’ve landed in the Desolate Lands]
"This place looks like a war happened here and it had been left like this for centuries," Aurianna muttered and jumped down from the building she was standing on. She landed on the ground with a thud and dust flew off by the wind she created.
Aurianna looked down at her feet to see she had pink metallic high boots up to her knee like the ones she normally wears. She then looked down to see herself wearing the same pink combat suit she used to wear two years ago.
She looked up to the sky to see nothing but dark clouds covering it and took in a deep breath.
"Ach!! The air is like trash as usual," she coughed before smiling.
"I’ve got to find some new monsters to kill," Aurianna grinned and dashed through the desolate city.
After a while of running Aurianna encountered a strange-looking monster.
It was huge up to twenty feet and ugly. Its eyes were hollow as there weren’t any and it had a huge jaw stretching up to four meters and its large jaws were filled with five rows of teeth. And its body was covered with a similar-looking mouth around it.
Aurianna summoned her guns ready to fight a monster till she was interrupted by a voice.
"I didn’t think others would be here?" A beautiful calm voice emerged from behind Aurianna, causing her to turn around and gaze at the person behind her.
With a look of recollection, she spoke, "Leila?"
"Aurianna?" Leila replied also surprised.
The teenager Aurianna saw, almost looked like an exact replica of herself except for a few things. The girl had deep beautiful brown skin, along with her red hair that was tied into a neat ponytail.
She wore a black battle suit like Aurianna and She had a pair of metallic heels that went all the way up to her thighs.
On her right shoe, she had a white heel while the other was black.
Aurianna’s look of understanding turned into one of confusion for a brief moment, as did Leila’s as one thought filled the two’s minds.
’I remembered Eva’s comparison of me and the other candidate twin, who she was told went by the name of Leila.’ Aurianna thought and eyed Leila.
"Stop eying me or else I’ll slash your eyes out," Leila warned with a calm voice, her eyes closed and Aurianna clicked her tongue.
"I’m still prettier than you," Aurianna pouted with her arms crossed while Leila tilted her head in confusion.
Aurianna then turned to Leila with a bright smile and declared, "Just you wait Leila once I’ve accomplished my goals, I’ll fight you for the other half of the White Diamond Gem!"
"Utterly thoughtless as always, sister," Leila spat and veins popped up on Aurianna’s face.
The monster, feeling like it was being left out, roared in anger and rushed towards Leila and Aurianna raising its large hands to crush down at them.
"As you can see, I’m having a busy conversation here," Leila said coldly, opening her left eye to reveal her white pupil and materializing a broadsword of white flames with a white hilt, raising it in a fighting stance as it burned brightly. Leila slashed it towards the monster causing the surrounding floating rocks to disintegrate in an instant and slashing the monster into two. The monster’s body burned with white flames till it burned to dust.
Aurianna stood there stunned and stared at Leila nervously. She stared at the destruction caused behind her but she didn’t tremble. She gripped her fingers and beamed.
"Do you understand the meaning behind your words sister?" Leila stated opening both her eyes to reveal one pupil that was light blue like Aurianna’s and the other was white.
’She looks like a complete reflection of me but why is one of her eyes white,’ Aurianna thought nervously.
All of a sudden Aurianna felt a rising heat in her body and her hands started to catch on fire. She felt an unbelievable pain strike throughout her whole body which immediately caught on white flames.
"Hah. This is why I really avoid opening my eyes," Leila sighed and closed her eyes.
Aurianna felt the sudden heat in her body calm down and her body began to heal from the burn marks.
She shakily got up and glared at Leila.
"Do you mean your words?" Leila asked looking down at Aurianna.
"Of course I do! I’ll defeat you and become the true White Diamond!" Aurianna declared boldly.
"That would be impossible. From the information I’ve gathered, if a Diamond is born as twins, both can survive even if one dies," Leila shook her head and said with a smile.
"How?" Aurianna asked with a frown.
"If you die or your soul is almost destroyed, you’ll be reborn because I’m alive. The same applies to me. So currently there’s no way to kill the other for the gem," Leila explained as she used a cloth to cover her eyes. "What’s more, your level is too low to fight on par with me. I’m already level 453 yet you’re just level 85. The vast difference in levels proves that I’m strong and you’re weak," Leila said with a smug look revealing a row of sharp teeth like a dragon’s.
"How did you get so strong?" Aurianna asked with a shaky voice but the excitement of knowing how one could grow strong in such a short time piqued her interest.
Leila sat down on the ground, "I simply killed all the races that would bring harm to my master and...I ..devoured them," she said slowly and Aurianna felt herself get sick.
She looked at Leila with a darkened expression and asked, "So eating others helps you to grow stronger?"
"Of course, every living being is a walking mana source. Eating them increases levels faster, well for our race of course. Others would probably die from the high mana density in a person’s body but if they have a way to withstand it then it’s a possibility."
"Eating people isn’t that disgusting. They would taste like crap. And it’s not right.." Aurianna muttered gripping her guns.
"My, my, is my dear sister who is called the bloody princess telling me what is right and wrong? If you pursue strength you let nothing get in your way even if it means killing others for your goal....," Leila said with a smile, and Aurianna’s face was still dark.
’How did she know that title?’ Aurianna narrowed her eyes at Leila, ’ and why do I feel a sense of emptiness from her,’ Aurianna thought as she stared at Leila.
Leila continued, "I’m sure you’re already used to killing others by now, so eating them won’t be so hard. Once you eat them for a long time you will get numb to the feeling."
"I see."
"The choice is yours. I’d just advise eating your opponents. The more you devour them your body gets altered to be able to use their abilities," Leila advised as she got up and started to walk away.
"Hey wait for me! I’m not done with my question!!!" Aurianna yelled and ran after Leila.
"Why tell me this?" Aurianna curiously asked as she walked by Leila’s side.
Leila turned to her with a cold smile, "Because I would love to fight my dear sister one day. And I would enjoy fighting whoever is called Iris and Gilgamesh."
"I wonder what level they are now on the Diamond rankings," Aurianna wondered and closed her eyes. She imagined an image of the rankings and when she opened her eyes it was there.
