Chapter 513: Chapter 513: Draw Him Out

A magnificent crystal throne was positioned at the end of the room, overlooking the long, red carpet.

The throne was big enough for a giant to sit comfortably on it but the person that was currently sitting on this throne was not that large as one would expect.

The throne was ten meters wide and had a large armrest. The armrests were shaped in such a way that they looked like they were meant for something other than human arms.

The back rest and extension ascended high until its crystal structure was touching the mosaic ceiling.

A humanoid female was resting on the right side of the armrest. One of her arms was placed in the crystal armrest and the other fell to the seat beside her.

The throne was too big for her to place her two arms on both armrests. But she didn’t seem to be even uncomfortable at all.

Her back was resting on the smooth backrest of the crystal throne. This caused her legs to be fully off the floor, no different than if she were half-lying on a crystal bed.

At that moment, she wore a long beautiful dress that was a mixture of black and yellow. Her hair was wavy and curved over her left shoulder, each strand of hair had a dark purple shade that highlighted the beauty of this woman.

Growing out of her head amidst the dark purple hair were two grey twisting horns that spiraled upward for a few inches before ending in a sharp point.

Currently, her eyes are closed as she seems to be in a state of rest or meditation.

This woman’s face was a bit cold and it looked like she was the type that hardly smiled.

Enduring the deafening peace of the throne hall, the humanoid female continued to exist in her still state of meditation.

*Step step step!...*

The sound of light footsteps attracted her attention. A friend appeared on her face and her eyebrows furrowed.

’Didn’t I ask that I should not be disturbed?’ She thought to herself as a feeling of irritation started swelling up inside her.

Her eyelids rose slowly, revealing a pair of beautiful purple pupils that released a faint disturbing glow.

However, as soon as she saw the owner of those footsteps, her expression relaxed and her mind quivered.

The relaxed and cold state she was in instantly disappeared, replaced by an excited expression.

"Ibadon," She opened her mouth and spoke.

Ibadon, the owner of the footsteps, arrived in front of the crystal throne and gave her a nod.

"Elizabeth, hope you are well?" Ibadon asked. His black cape fell over his shoulders, covering one of his arms and leaving the other open.

"Now that you’re here, I’m fine," Elizabeth said with glitter literally flashing in her eyes.

Ibadon responded to this with a soft chuckle.

It was as shocking as it was strange, all the guards nearby dared not listen to the conversation.

"Do you want me to sit?" Ibadon asked, already walking toward the empty space beside Elizabeth.

"Oh, Ibadon, you don’t need to ask," Elizabeth said while bringing her arms to her abdomen. Her shoulders were relaxed and her breathing became very steady.

She was truly at peace with herself now that Ibadon was hers.

If anyone else had called her directly by her name without adding Empress to it, that person could suffer some serious punishment.

Not even her closest officials were worthy of that disrespect. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

But Ibadon was different, he kept on referring to Elizabeth directly by her name without care for her title.

How could he? He had practically watched this Empress grow up one thousand years ago.

Ibadon sat down in the crystal throne, resting himself beside Elizabeth in a comfortable way but it took close.

"So, how are you?" Elizabeth asked.

A very strange thing to ask at this point in time. This just showed how differently Elizabeth felt toward Ibadon compared to every other person around her.

"I’ve been better, what about you?" Ibadon asked.

"Meh, just a mild headache for now. Oh, why didn’t you want to follow me to Hive Heaven?"

"I had something to take care of," Ibadon said lightly.

"Oh, the lion’s right? You could have done that any other time, you know. I hope you accomplished what you wanted," Elizabeth said with a genuinely worried tone.

Ibadon shook his head, "No, none of the officials found him even though they’ve been looking around different galaxies for so long now."

Elizabeth hesitated, then raised her hand and rested her palm on Ibadon’s shoulder. Her fingers caressed the thin and soft material of the cape.

"Don’t worry, we’ll get them next time," She said.

Ibadon nodded, "I know, it’s just a matter of time before they cease to exist forever.

Anyway, how was your shirt trip, you must be angry for having to come back so soon right?"

Elizabeth shrugged, "Yeah, it’s infuriating. But the Queen of Queens has agreed to give us a fresh new batch of honey after hearing about our little problem.

It would have been better if we could use that honey for something better instead of this stupid war effort,"

"How do you plan on dealing with the Creation Dragons, you know you can’t truly destroy them without harming your own species right?" Ibadon said solemnly.

"I know, that’s why it’s so annoying. I wish I could just blow them away forever.

Doesn’t it seem weird to you?"

"What?"

"The arrival of the Creation Dragons. I mean, we expected them to make a comeback at some point.

But now? At all times? When you were so close to getting the Lion Primordial?" Elizabeth said as she sank deep into her thoughts.

"It’s a distraction, I know," Ibadon said calmly.

"You know?" Elizabeth tilted her head.

Ibadon smiled, "Don’t forget that I’ve studied every war strategy developed since the creation of the Dragon Empires.

I can recognize a distraction even if it happened in a different timeline."

"Is it the lions?" Elizabeth asked. The thought that the lions could be allying with the Creation Dragons made her upset.

Ibadon shook his head however, "I doubt that. It’s most likely another faction that will benefit from having our attention diverted from the lions for now."

"What are we going to do? My spies told me that the Primordial Lion has already entered the Leonine Heavenly Realm.

It would be a whole lot harder to do what you want to do with him there.

And with our forces preoccupied by the Creation Dragons, we definitely can’t attempt to storm the place..."

"Don’t worry," Ibadon waved his hand, "Just in case something like this happened, I’ve been planning ahead.

Since we can’t get to the Primordial Lion for now, I can try to draw him out."

Elizabeth’s eyes brightened, she could tell that Ibadon was cooking up a sinister plan.

"How? Tell me, please!" She begged with her eyes glittering with pleading light.

Ibadon smiled, "I know where Jin’s final resting place is located..."
